Definitely missing, will replace

I headed out for an afternoon walk from Hobsonville Point to Greenhithe, and back again. The intention was to take advantage of a rare sunny day and collect some caches along the way. With the walk complete I decided to find a couple more before heading towards home. I parked up and made the short walk across the grass to access GZ. Once at GZ I quickly found the hidey hole and then the tether, but nothing was attached. I gave the hidey hole a close inspection but no luck. I think this one is missing in action and needs CO attention.

Found, damp inside, but otherwise fine TFTC

Out today at the farmers market, and walking to grab a few caches. Upon arriving at GZ I found someone's phone, it had a number to call if it was found on it, but no one was answering on that one. So I made the grab.

A quick easy find, all in good condition and not a terrible place to have to wait while I tried to find the owner of this phone. #1443

Almost time to head to Auntie's for dinner, but time to pick off another new placement which has appeared since we left a few months ago. I recall the last one here and good to see the nude cache here, and added our name without a stitch dropped, you knit. Thanks G for more fun in this area.

It's time to meet grandchild number 16 and a previously booked break to say hi, or await arrival, is now here. We are off to Northland via an overnight in Auckland, then 2 nights in Ngunguru then a trip down to Rotorua before heading back home next week.
Day 1 dawned good and early with an early departure of around 0500 and a pleasant drive up with 5 cache finds en route. and arriving ay Auntie's in good time for a nice dinner. Thanks to all COs for their hides today.

Parked up nearby in my motorhome, so after I had finished some work, I figured a nice short walk would be good before it gets to busy. A nice quick find of this recent placement, cheers G2

Enjoyed a nice walk through Bomb Point to this cache... I really like this place as it's something different from the usual and has some great views over the harbour! Had to wait for a few muggles to pass here, before I was able to go in for the retrieve... No issues with finding the cache and good idea for adding the tethering as this will keep the container from going walk-a-bouts Smile TFTC again G-2!

Out and about in Hobsonville Point this afternoon trying to clean up some of my last remaining unfound caches in the area Smile I remember caching around here when I was a brand newbie back in 2020, so yes - there were a few DNF's to avenge. I quite like this area and some of the neat parks around here! A nice haul of 7 finds... All in good condition! Thanks CO's for your hides

We wanted to bump our Find numbers up for this date, so decided to head for Hobby and pick up a few local caches. We have found a few caches around here. This one was nicely hidden away, thanks.

Another familiar place to visit, after being mindful of a few wasps around GZ the cache was soon located. Thanks

Nice one thanks, love coming out this way. Takes me back to days gone by, and all the fun we used to have shooting the crap out of stuff just across the grass...cheers V

Geohound kept a lookout and warned off all the Muggle dogs whilst I fished around for this.

After having lunch, finding a whale tail and avenging a nearby DNF we headed over to look for this cache before checking out the nearby fairy houses.
There really are a lot of things to do around Hobsonville Point.
There were a few muggles here and there but it was much quieter than we expected on such a beautiful day and we located the cache quickly.

On my way home from caching over the shore. A quick stop here.

14-Mar-22
Lovely very short walk and QEF here today.
On my way home from a successful.caching day at Millwater and the Orewa Estuary.
Great idea to tether...could totally disappear under there!
Thanks G-2

13-Mar-22
Heading home after a morning in Orewa I detoured slightly to pick up this cache. Hopefully the tethering will stop this one from going walkies.

Saw this local cache published earlier, but was busy working. Stopped for lunch and noticed it still hadn't been found, so went for a short walk to GZ. Soon had the cache in hand and signed the blank log for an {FTF}! Then wandered down to take a look at my nearby cache. TFTC!
