It has been a while since I have cached in Warkworth so today I decided to go there to sign off a few caches.I had to stay out of sight of the youngster on the skate 1/2 pipe.Cheers for the cache, G-2.
**21,668**Being that it was very early in the morning, we had no problems with skateboarding muggles, well any muggles really. Cache was a nice quick find as we try to squeeze just a few more in before we head back home. TFTC
Surprising to find nobody around. With a great hint was a nice quick find. [TFTC]
Had a tasty dinner in the Warkworth Hotel, and then headed off for a walk along the river, and of course a cache.Upon arriving at GZ, I followed the GPS and it was down to 2m, I started the search and hand my hands on it almost instantly. Tftc #1721
Just a quick visit to town; took longer to find a carpark than it did to find this one

An early morning walk along the river with rattll. Nobody at GZ, so we were able to hunt undisturbed. A quick find, as per the hint. Tftc!
Out doing some early morning caching with matagouri.A quick walk and we were at GZMy gps was still going around in circles, when matagouri found the cache. Thanks for setting this up
We were very fortunate that no one was using the skate park when we arrived but we did have to contend with some muggles who had parked their camper van nearby and had their door open which looked right at GZ.However using stealth and careful timing we managed to extract and return the cache undetected and left before our luck ran out.Nice hide, tucked away safely.TFTC.
Taxi service for Mrs Mob today. So while she has her meeting grabbing a few caches! #2 a quick find. TFTC.
Easy find thanks to the description. Almost couldn't get the log out of tube but managed in the end.
A sunny start to the year, and kicking it off with a caching stroll around Warkworth.Clear instructions, and after waiting out some teens using the facility, we swooped in and located the loot. Thanks for the cache
A nice quick find as GZ was vacant from Muggles. T4tC G-2,Civvnr&MissTreadlightly....(UK) Geocaching.com finds so far 11336
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
Finding a few WW caches in-between doing some odd jobs in town. Located this one quickly after we got our bearings right! Very helpful hint. Also helpful is the library down the street yonder who are a great help to cachers like us who are not sharp enough to remember to bring a pen along! Would recommend some tweezers or pen or something of the sort to get out the log.
Luckily no pee-wee's today so it made the grab fairly simple. Come when the darn rascals are in school!

Another dot day and another find. We came for this one cause we thought there would be no activity at the skate park and we were right. All good with the cache. Great little hide and the description was spot on. Thanks G-2
I'm off to Auckland today to spend the weekend with the my grown up kids and their families who live down there. Saturday's plan is to join the Auckland Geocachers in the morning for a walk in the Waitakere Ranges. Sunday's plan is to watch my Grandkid play hockey then hang out and relax at their place.
I'm very short of points for this month's souvenir challenge so today I'm hoping to collect a good 250 points. With tomorrow's tally I'll be within reach of my target.
As expected on a school day, no-one was using gz today. Followed the directions for a fast find. Thanks G-2

M24: after bussing my little siblings at Silverdale for Day 2 of sports camp/day,
I decided to bus here to good old Warkworth. Growing up in Wellsford as a kid, me and my family would go here to do some supermarket shopping. Brings back memories, man. Anyway, the cache itself was easy to find, just had to wait for the right moment to retrieve it. Nice and easy find, log all good and signed here. TFTC.

Down this way for a drive now that Brynderwyns have temporarily opened. Stopped in here for a toilet stop and also grab this cache. Had a quick search and cache was located. Signed and replaced before moving on with our drive. TFTC
The park was busy on our way so we carried on and had another go on our way back. Still people around, but with the good hint we were able to do a fab grab, tab & go, lickety split. Cache is all good. TFTC
Decided to stop off in Warkworth and stretch our legs. Parked up close by and turns out we were in luck there was no one at the skate park. Followed the hint and made a nice quick find.
We moved from our freedom camping spot into town so we could explore the area and find a park big enough for us. The town was definitely humming. There was no one around the skateboard bowl, though, so we were able to find the cache quickly. Thanks for the placement G-2.
Had a stop over in town last night
Now its coffee time along with grabbing a cache or two Thanks G2 great little structure for the young ones to let loose onall in order here

TFTC. Nice and easy park and grab today on a quiet weekend. Right where it is meant to be.
I'm on a week's annual leave, choosing to spend time traveling north to visit and reconnect with a few friends up here, and naturally that also gives me an opportunity to do some caching up this way again. Today is day 4, which involves driving south from Kaiwaka to Auckland.
I was here in early March 2020 to attend the wedding of some friends. This is the first time I've spent time here since then so it was a good chance to stop and look for this new cache since then.
A casual walk through the township brought me to GZ, where a quick search in accordance with the Hint coughed up the cache. No issues here, and I was able to sign the log and replace as found before setting off back to the car.
Thanks for placing this one.

There was nobody on the skate thing when we approached so GeohoundandI ducked under and retrieved the cache.
On the way back the whole place was swarming with the next Olympic champions. It looked like a local ELC were on a trip and all of the 3 year olds were climbing up and trying to slide back down (no skateboards in sight).

Stopped in Warkworth today for some lunch, and noticed this cache nearby. Surprisingly quiet for a nice sunny day, quick find, cheers
Found without too much trouble. Snuck in while nobody using the bowl. Is buried up inside. Tnlnsl. Tftc!!
I couldnt locate this today, so if I have my NE corner right and the meaning of strut sorted it might have strutted off with a muggle. Even checked the meaning of the word to confirm. It has a few meanings. 1 : a structural piece designed to resist pressure in the direction of its length.
This was a quick find while passing through Warkworth . All is well with the cache, thanks.
Up from Auckland, visiting family in Warkworth on Sunday afternoon, enjoying a pleasant walk. Excellent hint, easy find, all good here. TFTC
No one skating, a parking space right next to it and a detailed description of location made this an easy and quick find. Thanks
I was in WW early this morning as the extra hour was a wonderful chance to do some extra caching. No skaters around at this time of the morning so a nice quick find. Many thanks for another cache placement.
Out today gathering caches for a challenge in Christchurch and finding a few extras as we go. TFTC
Came out today caching with Mum (SethRaven) we are finding caches for a challenge in the South Island - just a little extra find for our day here, TFTC
On our way home from a day trip up north. A quite afternoon at the skate park today.
No one was using the skate park today so we had no issue popping in and finding this hide
Nice to be out caching with the 3 other Westie Ladies again !
This was a pretty quick find....one of the team...think it was nette1234, was quick to get down and make the extraction....
All good....and luckily quiet here this afternoon.... so didn't need to be stealthy or try and be invisible!
Thanks G -2 for these new Warkworth Caches !

Heading home from a day trip to Langs beach with S/N, Merlot58 and Nette we stopped off in Warkworth to collect a few caches. The skate park was empty, and following the hint it wasn’t long before Merlot had her hands on this one. TFTC
The second of two new ones and luckily no-one around tonight. A quick find and another blank log and {FTF} for us. And as we're out anyway, we'll take the dogs for a walk in the park...thanks G-2, you must have known I still needed a walk (but wasn't going to go out tonight )!
