Up in Orewa for a few days with ABCDF4Some great caches up here Thanks to the CO for a enjoyable time in Orewa
The hint told us everything. We have been so lucky with the break in the rain for this last bit. Miss 6 loved the lavender that is near by, so do the bees! We are so close to our end point and wee legs are definetely tired now. One more to go I think. TFTC
I feel a bit like the host of Mastermind tonight: I've started (caching along this path) so I'll finish. Although as I zoom out on the map, it turns out this path goes a bit further in each direction than I initially realised... A great little hide here, the cache was exactly as described. TFTC!
A few skinks but no cache that I could see. Looks quite exposed by the matting.
Well, today is another sortie into G-2Land but this area is more realisticaly WonderstuffLand. This finishes off the shoreline walkway series of caches.I had this one with a blue frown for ages and ages and have just back to change it into a yellow smilie.Cheers for the cache, G-2.
Out for a caching outing with my sister, which we haven't done in ages. Lots of people about it being a day off for most so we had to be quick here. And we were. Found it immediately when sister read out hint, just as well. Thanks for the hide G_2!
**20,787**Nicely hidden in plain sight cache container, quickly sorted, log signed and then off to the next one. A very nice cycle/walkway. TFTC
Quick find here and a jice new dry log. Had a rest at the big seat near cache after finding, nice spot.
I am up in Orewa this afternoon to take a walk around the Orewa River Estuary via the Te Ara Tahuna Estuary Cycleway and Walkway. I parked up at the main car park, near the skate park, and started my, better part of, three hour hike and caching expedition. I am heading in the anticlockwise direction. A nice quick find here thanks to the hint. Cache has been recently replaced by the looks of it (no sign of the original hide). On the home stretch now. Cheers for the cache placement!
Took a bit of finding but that was because we mis-counted the posts. I blame the searing heat.

I came to New Zealand with my wife on honeymoon
It is hard to log all the caches, I found here in New Zealand, so excuse my mass log for caches around Orewa, please
At first i started with caches around Estuary Cycleway, then to Red Beach, Hatfield´s Beach, Millwater and Silverdale. Some of the caches are now disabled as i can see, and some of them were disabled, but were on place.
After consulting with owner I made maintanance on some of disabled and missing caches.
I found many really nice caches...it was awesome, but i think, that some of them (for example Bison caches) have too low D/T combos...but owners are really helpful, so I managed to find each of them. I usually borrowed bike from my brother in law and then in the early morning, or in evening went geocaching. I really liked that routine. So I´m really thankful for all the caches on/near Estuary
I need to write here, that I really like nature in NZ...its a big difference between Europe :/
So – TFTC, guys, and especially The Wonder Stuff for placing and G-2 for placing and hints...and sry for mistakes in my poor English...have a nice day(s) there and u should come to find some caches here in Slovak Republic

Beautiful sunny Boxing Day to do this Orewa to Millwater & back around to Orewa loop.
Lovely smell of Mint while we search but no luck for us here today.

Got a big break in the exercising traffic so grabbed this one. Nice quick find. TFTC
A pleasant day for a wander around the Orewa estuary finding a few caches along the way. Counted the required numbers and made a quick find here. A nice spot to sit and rest for a while. TFTC
Nice easy find but we forgot out caching kit so couldn’t sign the log hence the photo. Will sign when we come back this way for the next caches.
Counted the posts as the hint had suggested and made a nice quick find. The last one for today. Some nice houses along this walk/cycle way. Most people making there way home now.
After losing my glasses on this section, we backtracked and found them. Good result all round.
Anzac weekend. Long weekend away been arranged staying at Orewa Camp Ground, with my parents, we have a cabin each and my sis and bro-in-law are staying at Manly beach camp ground. It’ll be a weekend of eating, walks and chatting.
Last cache for this weekend, there's always plenty more to do here and there, but I'm happy with what I have done for this weekend, had a great time with family, done a great amount of eating and drinking and caches, mainly by this C.O, thanks Glyn for all your hard work mate. Really appreciate it. A FP here for that.

Muggles were sitting just along from gz but they moved along as we arrived and a quick find was made thanks to the hint. Lots of people out cycling and walking this afternoon
Nice quick find by merlot58 today.
Have a lot of happy family memories here from spending time in a family bach in River Road....where my siblings and I spent lots of school holidays with our aunties.
Then our own kids came along and it was their turn...
Cheers....

Out for a days caching with a crew of Westie ladies, and we had time for a few more caches before heading home. As we approached gz there was a muggle couple sitting very close to gz. As we approached they started walking away and we were able to zoom in for a quick find. TFTC
Down from Whangarei on a caching mission with Team G0LD today to get some numbers in the general Orewa area. After a successful detour at Warkworth for a trail of 8 FTF's, we carried on to Orewa proper. Our plan was to do as many around the estuary as possible. Nearing the end of the day now and just time for a few more. With the great hint, I had no trouble with a quick find once at GZ. TFTC
Team G0LD had planned to cache in Orewa today, get 50 caches and clean up that area. Such a nice surprise to see new caches published just out from Warkworth. We made the short diversion out that way and picked up 8 ftfs as a bonus. What a fantastic way to start the day. Grabbed a couple of other ones enroute to clean areas up before reaching our target area.
We're nearing the end of the day. We've been round the rest of the estuary doing your caches G-2. We're just filling in the last few caches to complete our smiles round the loop. Another quick sign here but I forgot to look up to see the reason for the cache name. I will pop back for a looksie sometime. Thanks for the cache

Out with Team Gold this morning (0B80B8 and Liscrew) to collect a few caches to keep our numbers up. Nice quick find while walking past. Almost completed the loop. TFTC
Wonderful to have some more local caches to find. This was a nice wander between showers and cache was soon located. Very quiet around the walkway today so could make the find in peace. Lovely view from here. Thanks for the cache
