Set off to the Gold Coast to attend this event and to pickup some caches in the area.

It was lovely to meet some local geocachers, and one from NZ too. All friendly people 
. Thank you for attending. I dropped off a couple of TBs who will enjoy some time on the Gold Coast, and picked up a whole busload of hitchhikers that have holidayed long enough here and now wanted to travel on with me.

This was my first Queensland event.
So glad we attended this event today. We met returnees from the Townsville Mega all hyped up with excitement from their travels. Then a reunion with a couple of local Cachers - it’s always fun to catch up. Some further attendees came while over here from NZ who are here in Oz meeting their newest grandchild. More excitement. Then there was the bubbly, interesting, travelling host who gave the event a happy and casual air. All in all the event set a happy and relaxed tone for the rest of the day.

I am going to make sure its the worst event ever im going around taking every single geo cache in the area and throwing them away
