I've had a few issues finding what I needed but all set again now. Check out the new hint.

Oops, bear with me. After carrying out an inspection I'm thinking my best solution is to replace this disobedient cache. Will do that and then enable the cache as soon as I can.

Out for a walk with a muggle . Not sure if she will convert.

06-Jan-24
Last one of the puzzle caches I coud get hold of. When I entered the alley I was wandering where you could hide something in here. So I looked for a place where I would place a cache. After two time going up and down there was only one place perfect for hiding and perfectly suited to the coordinates. I checked the tiniest traces and found something which needed closer attention.Thx to Sidewaze for this much appreciated series of puzzle caches with creative hiding places in an urban setting.

02-Nov-23
I couldn't find it despite a bit of a search in the rain.

You are keeping us on our toes today Sidewaze! Did what most do, walk up and down looking looking and almost going back to the vehicle when something caught my eye, OMGoodness clever clever and sooo simple - much glee with coconuts3 and happy folk signing a log. A fav. Cool

22-Oct-23
Out with busy paws and finding puzzle caches we both solved. Spent a while here then decided it must be very clever. It sure was, the delight in finding the Alien you probably heard us . Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, it sure deserves a fav from us.

Finally we are here in Motueka and finding this series -a good way to learn and see the town.

After finding the challenge cache on Rabbit Island and a few others, it was time to head inland off the usual route to find a whole lot more. I am enjoying seeing different scenery. Another quick find and then we left to find the next one. Apologies for the late logging.
In Nelson with TwigNZ, YetiNZ, Mr-Mcgoo for a few days of caching and meeting up with other cachers from Nelson. All logs signed as NMTY.

Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Sidewaze.

(# 7876) A caching trip to Nelson with NZ_B, TwigNZ and YetiNZ. Day 2 of a 4 day trip interspersed with exploring and humour. A quick find.

The log was signed as NuMpTY (or NMTY) for NZ_B, Mr-mcgoo, TwigNZ, & YetiNZ. Thanks for bringing me here.

10-Jun-23
Day 2 of my Nelson trip, along with NZ_B, YetiNZ and Mr-Mcgoo. This is something we planned a while back and have very much been looking forward to Smile
During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.

We had decided that we really liked the idea of heading back to Motueka today, so were happy to be taking the scenic route to make the most of the available caches to get there. Having now finally arrived in Mot, we had lots of caches to try to find. This "About Motueka" series cache was one we targeted whilst here.

A quick and easy find for us today. Nothing untoward to report with the cache or log, so everything was replaced exactly as found and we were back on our way again.

Thanks for setting this one up.

Some time ago a group of us from Wellington decided that what we should do is come down to the Nelson region for a long weekend of Geocaching. So we did. With minimal specific agendas, and lots of unfound caches in the area, the goal for this four day break is exploring, having fun, and finding geocaches. Here is one we found.

The About Motueka series were some of the many puzzles I solved in preparation for this trip, and we enjoyed ourselves exploring this small town as we chased down all the caches.

The log was signed as NuMpTY (or NMTY) for NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ, & YetiNZ

Thanks to Sidewaze for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.

[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

22-Apr-23
New placements kept on accumulating and against better judgement we decided to finally make a Mot run. Not that we hate going to Mot, to the contrary. However, it being muggle central after hours is the preferred option. Most finds in Mot are "night caches" and helped greatly in achieving our DGSc. We have no complaints Big Grin
All we had to do was admire the artwork, spot the little guy and let the muggles pass before we signed the log. Another cool place with great art. Thank you Sidewaze

22-Apr-23
We decided on a day trip to Motueka to find numerous caches which have been published since our last trip over there. After having to abort attempts to find several it reminded us why we usually make a Motueka caching trip in the evenings.
Due to the likelihood of muggles we used the hint here and made a quick find. I'm impressed with all the artwork in these areas.
Thank you Sidewaze.

18-Apr-23
We are once again leaving Motueka, but a sleight of hand in navigation, and we were conveniently close to this cache. The rain is about to set it. A very cool hide here, thanks Sidewaze.

18-Apr-23
Thanks for the history along with the jigidi..great hide appreciated your efforts here

12-Apr-23
A couple of hours wandering around Motueka grabbing a few caches. Mopping up some of the "About Motueka" series. Nice hide this one. Thanks for the puzzle and thanks for the cache.

25-Mar-23
This one had me going for a while and then I had the CO join me and she spotted it tucked away a bit further.

I went back to the cachemobile for a TOTT to assist with the extraction of the cache.

Cheers for the cache, Sidewaze.

Cache Nummer 24 in Neuseeland! Das Puzzle und die Suche haben mega viel Spaß gemacht! Danke fürs Hinführen!

I always enjoy caching in and around Motueka. This morning was no different, and with quite a few new Multis, A.L's, and Puzzles to look for it was quite a productive couple of hours. TFTC

#21770. After bumping into the CO and having a chin wag, it was time to get moving and find some more of her caches. Troodles soon spotted this one. TFTC.

10-Nov-22
Bugger, forgot to log this one so now it's out of order. I shouldn't be so anal about this as with the advent of ad labs, many of my finds are no longer "in order".
Anyway, soon spotted where the cache would be hidden and SW retrieved it. TFTC.

07-Oct-22
This one seemed to take forever to find due to the phone leading us astray a few meters. After looking everywhere possible there, we extended our search and Andy spotted the cache neatly hidden. Almost needed to return to the car for a tool to retrieve it, but managed in the end. tftc

26-Sep-22
I added this one to my list of 'Mystery Puzzles Solved' many months ago. To mark the recent sad (but not unexpected) death of Queen Elizabeth II, our family all hopped in the car for a day out, observing NZ's national minute of silence on-route to finding this cache. We successfully managed to extract it from its wee hidey spot to sign the log. A fun puzzle & a great find. Thanks Sidewaze.

22-Jul-22
Puzzle evening last week. Reward today.

16-Jul-22
#11,350. Its getting late in the day (well the days are short in winter) and after driving from Westport I still needed a mystery cache final for a challenge I am working on (one puzzle cache for every day of the calendar). Luckily I solved the Motueka jigidi series earlier in the week so came here to pick up this one. Took a while to spot the container. Its is small. The other part of the hint was only noticed once I had the cache in hand. Signed the logbook and left the container exactly where found. Thanks Sidewaze for hiding it here.

13-Jun-22
What I thought would be a quick park and grab turned into an absolute mission. I could feel the cache but it was too far in to grab and then the inevitable happened - I pushed it in even further. Nothing I tried would bring it closer and I thought I was going to have to turn up on the COs doorstep for help. Instead I got to Mitre 10 just on closing and bought a tool I have been meaning to buy for a long time - their last one as it turned out - whew. Easy extraction with that. Have left the cache with the additional holding device easier to grab hold of. TFTC # 18,522

One of the hint items is difficult to see, and I saw it only after finding the cache!.Last for the day.

Ms_KR and I are off on a wee road trip to Nelson. Today we had a great day cruising around Motueka, upper Moutere, and wherever the gps took us.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

We’ve been watching Doctor, Doctor on the telly. The town (Mudgee) in the series has an amazing clock tower in the middle of the road. This one with its newish paint job isn’t too bad either. TFTC

17-Apr-22
Mrs SoBad had considered a mid week trip to Motueka and this had been solved in advance. However, she opted for her usual bike ride rather than a walk so today was the day. Convenient as there were extra caches to find as well.
SoBad found the alien after another pedestrian had left the area.
Thanks.

16-Apr-22
The alien was completely out of sight, but I was able to find and remove. TFTC.

Went to this one yesterday but between muggles and unable to get the seen cache, we came back with a tool today. A quick sign and return. TFTC

11-Apr-22
We tried to grab this one last night but it had unfortunately been placed a bit far in to grab with fingers - so popped back this morning with an appropriate tool - cache grabbed log signed as SONO - and carefully placed back - thanks for the puzzle and the cache Smile

10-Apr-22
Glad to spot a puzzle cache I can solve easily, and I was familiar with the final location. Not the first place I looked, but had the right idea so didn't take long.
Thanks very much!

Enjoyed doing this puzzle
Thank you for the cache

Lovely morning for a drive to Motueka and back. I solved this puzzle a few days ago and found the cache today. Not in the first place I looked but it didn't take too long to find it. TFTC, Biggles.

A quick find on an early morning stroll with SJT_NZ, post the southern smurf series I vowed I'd never do a jigsaw again but there's something about them that sucks you in. All quite at the GZ and hint took us straight to it, thanks Sidewaze nice to have the local clock tower suitably recognised again.

07-Apr-22
Found with Tregearp. On publication we both saw the Publication Notice email and both then solved the Jigsaw to announce to each other that we had the coordinates for the Final. We're not FTF chasers and knowing that there are some in the local community who are working on some challenges we left it for a few days. A quick find today at the GZ. Thanks Sidewaze for another enjoyable Mystery and cache.

Located with Ricardinho ??

A quick find here!

A wee trip out to my home town this morning, always a trip down memory lane when we go caching in Motueka ?? We started with a trip to the market & I snapped up 2 Aubergines for $2 ?? Then dumplings at the market from our fav dumpling shop that has a stall in the market every Sunday, a few targeted caches for RNZ then off to Upper Moutere to Katie Golds studio to buy a house warming gift for RNZ sister & a little something for me....be rude not too!! A lovely few hours out with my favourite cacher ??????

TFTC ??

As we were preparing to leave our motel this morning we noticed a new Motueka puzzle had been published. Do we or don't we? It's in the opposite direction to our travels today. What the heck, who knows when we'll be back this way. Headed for Motueka and soon found ourselves signing the log for FTF. Even better! Many thanks for one extra puzzle.

03-Apr-22
Find #3 for today. I was not surprised the FTF was gone on this one early but thought, what the heck, let’s get a FDF anyway. We are in the neighbourhood. Quick find here and all is good, as you would expect with a newbie. TFTC Sidewaze.

Today we decided to head out to Motueka in the early afternoon after a few chores at home.
On the agenda today was some shopping at the Motueka market, lunch at one of our favourite eateries there, and purchasing a house warming gift for my sister on the way back through Upper Moutere.
There was the small matter of a few caches too. A nice little bag today - some nicely themed trads, a letterbox, a FDF on a new mystery and a multi as well. Thanks all COs, had a great day.
