Another quick and easy one. Loving this little scoot along the path. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on now on our way south after heading north for warmer weather. From Cooktown back to Notth East Victoria, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.

Found it SL. Enjoying a caching holiday in Townsville with mackay_geocaching. Thanks to the COs for the puzzles that they have created and brain strain to solve them. Puzzles mostly been solved prior to this visit with alphag_25 and mackay_geocaching team effort. Brought the GEOPUNT up this time to tackle more of the T5 caches and Challenges on the water. Also prepared fir the task with the Segway Scooter and Paddleboard. I am on a very enjoyable holiday up in Townsville visiting the area and catching up with family. Tagged along with alphag_25 on some geocache adventures and have been able to complete many new geocaches. Lots of new places are being explored and heaps of amazing artwork. It certainly is a lot hotter in Townsville than Mackay! The Tanks Adlab series, Wherigos and other Adlabs are on our list to complete on our journey up here and also hope to pick up some of the remaining river caches that we could not find last time. We managed to go out in the boat with a sighting of one crocodile! Boat desperately needs a clean when alphag_25 and I get home! Thanks Townsville for our time spent here and the puzzle creators their intersting and challenging puzzles.

On a nice bike road on this trail and decided to get this series of caches. I Haven’t had the chance to go caching in a while so it is good that I am getting back into it. TFTC.

Found Ok

Followed the clue for this but still struggled. Wasn’t going to give up on it that easy but there is plenty of foliage here to get in the way of an easy find. I guess the colour of the container didn’t make it easy in the dark but I managed to kneedle it out of its hiding spot after a while. Just took a little longer than anticipated. Wonder what I will find for the 27th and 28th that are close together and easy to access.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 86. Townsville to Tully. With rain threatening, I packed up the van and headed to the bypass road bike trail to get my scooter out. I managed all but one. I could not quite get up the second bit of the tree. A great way to stat the morning after the dismal start yesterday. On the drive North I stopped one or two times, but mostly had a smooth drive with a mango smoothie along the way.

After the mega was over, we spent a couple of days caching around Townsville, and disappeared off to Charters Towers and Bowen.
We still had some unfinished business in Townsville, and this series looked very enticing.
At this point we did not have bicycles, so the walk was done by foot.
A couple of difficult things along the way. First of all we had to find the right point to park the car to get ourselves along the Trail.
And then, there were definitely a couple of tricky hides with rocks hidden in rocks.
All up, we found them all, bar one.
The one we chose not to attempt, was a tree climb, since we were just not equipped on the day to manage this one.
This series is a great addition to geocaching here in Townsville.

Today we were out to get around to the Ring Road and grab those caches scattered along the road and those that were close by riding past. Car still in the Toyota workshop, but we are one step closer to getting it fixed.

Some last moment caches before the flight out today and realised I was getting close to 400 regional finds so picked up the rest of this series to get closer to the target.

Another quick find after a short walk from RR1. TFTC.

Today I met up with GeokidNQ, piggypower357, GC Diver and burgo78 and GeoDadNQ to celebrate the Kids 100th cache with a *FTF* while the Hounds bring up just over 1/3rd of that tally in a row. Cheers BlackPearl26 for placing and playing a part in the milestone.

Was a nice morning catch up to grab day #34 of our [FTF] streak, putting us on the first page of continuous days with an FTF in the world!
Much easier to find an entry point during daylight hours. Thanks for the team effort. And congrats geokid for your 100 find, crowned with an FTF.
This was my 180th FTF, giving me another gemstone on project-GC. Nice!
