Logs
Had a pretty good look around but my suspicion is that based on some previous logs. Lots of leafs are now covering it
Afraid I couldn't find it, if it's fallen it could be under the leaves somewhere. Based on how easy others have said this is I think it could be missing, but this is only my 4th cache so it could just be me
Tftc. Found it on the ground which I guess is knee height if you are kneeling.
Took a bike ride to the nearby Parkrun this morning and collected a couple geos on route. I luckily found this one quite quickly. TFTC
It was one of those stupidly hot summer days today but I had some time available and I was keen to go find some caches. I also still had my bike in the car from yesterday so I decided to come and ride this little section of bikeway. It didn't take long before I was drenched in sweat but somehow it seems much cooler when you are zooming along on a bike than when you are walking in the heat.I did the 3 caches in reverse order so this was my first find. There were a surprising number of other crazy people out in the heat today riding bikes and walking their dogs along this section so I had to be a bit discreet. I did a couple of loops around the tree and then finally spotted a likely spot and it was there. Thanks for the cache Alisnan and Davidwazza for replacing it.
An interesting log and photo by Coolabah_Cachers - that isn't the replacement cache that I left, but looks to be the original cache bison container?I may need to take another look here and see if I can find that one.
Found this one to finish off the series and the log was jammed in there but took photo proof. Nice one, thanks for the cache! Coolabah OUT!!!
I noted this cache getting disabled and as I knew that I would be in the area this morning, I thought I would take a look. Although I cant be 100% certain of this cache being missing since I had found an earlier version of this cache, it felt like it had indeed gone muggled.I had brought a few different replacement containers with me, and for the interim, Ive left a small preform container in a nook of the tree at ground level, covered by bark.
Continuing on from Bikeway#2 I arrived and thought this could be a bit hard, lots of long grass trees. However once the GPS pointed to a more suitable hiding spot I soon found the cache not long after.

Looked past this one about 3 times. With help from previous finder, I looked again and spotted the sneaky one. TFTC
Alisnan I found your cache Kelvin Grove/City Bikeway #3 on 10/7/2023, 2:10 pm. This is my find 5883 and find # 5 today. Second time. Searched and searched, it has to be here. Gave up and sent a message to the previous finder but before they replied I searched again and this time found the sneaky little bugger. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out on a windy morning for round 2 on this cache. After seeing it was found yesterday with correct hint and co-ords, I wanted to make the find here.
My gps kept taking me to a spot 7m away from where I finally found it ...
Very happy to find this sneaky little guy.
Thanks alisnan for the cache.

After attending an Event nearby we set off in search of a few caches. We weren't hopeful with this one after reading previous logs but we thought we could either find it or add to the list of DNFs. No problems as it was at the posted co-ords. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
An Event brings us to Kelvin Grove, so a few caches afterwards.
Ignore previous logs. Coordinates and hint are accurate.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 9.40 am on June 28, 2023. TFTC, alisnan

With a bouncy gps and an unreliable hint, I looked around for 15 mins and left empty-handed.
I could find this one after scratching and looking but I did friend a little toad friend
alisnan I didn’t find your cache Kelvin Grove/City Bikeway #3 on 30/4/2023, 12:44 pm. Nope, scratched around like a brush turkey but couldn’t find it.
We decided to go for an early morning walk before it got too warm and this small series was perfect for that. This one took a bit of a search before it was finally spotted. Thanks alisnan
A short walk from the deserted car park nearby. Started to rain so was grateful for the cover of the trees. Two containers here, signed just the one. Tftc
Another day, another event, another pedal around. The lomandra almost put me off here. I have a nasty reaction to them. Spied a good path through them. Found a second, smaller container on the ground at GZ. Attached it to the bigger one.
As I strolled towards this one the GPS was counting down and I looked ahead and spotted a couple of cyclists who were resting on a couple of park benches. I was a bit concerned that they may have been where the cache was located but the GPS took me past and pointed to a spot about 10m from them. I decided that I could approach the cache while being hidden by a couple of trees and using the hint I spotted the cache while I was still out of sight.
Log signed and cache replaced and I moved back to the path without the muggles noticing anything.

After an afternoon activity with Great Just Great, we were in the area and spotted a few new caches around. This was the one that we selected to attempt today. The bike path was relatively quiet and we had the GZ area to ourselves without concern of drawing attention.
We walked in circles a couple of times, and it was Great Just Great that spotted the container. Certainly not where I was expecting it to be. Over to the nearby bench for signing, All good with the log sheet here.
It was quickly replaced and we were away. Thanks very much for placing this cache here Alisnan. Cheers

Looked around and around circled in a different direction and there it was!

Grabbing a few caches after a lovely catch up with friends at Vic Park. Continuing on from 1 and 2 I had a lovely walk to this one with very few muggles around. A quick find with an accurate hint and coords.

Was over this way dropping off stuff at the Salvos, so parked on the Red Hill side of Kelvin Grove Road for a pleasant walk before the rain started. Amazing to see the flood debris from earlier this year. Quick find at gz. Tftc
May be knee height...if u r tall?! Anyway, a quick find consistent with the rating & T4TC!
CO kept me entertained this morning.
Traces of flooding still around.
All good at GZ
Thank you for hiding this geocache alisnan, without hiders the game wouldn't exist

Out for a Mothers Day walk doing one of my favourite things to do. Thought we had have a look at how the creek has recovered aince the flood. Thanks for bringing us here.

On uber-duty (again) tonight - so with a couple hours to kill in the area figured time to knock off a few more of these newer caches in this area. No worries spotting this one, although I question the camel with knees there.
Thanks alisnan for entertaining me at this location.

This new series of caches are the target for me today…
Having met the lovely CO at a recent Hatzofff event, and learnt that extra “n” was there for a reason, I knew these caches just had to be found… if for no other reason than to say thanks for putting more caches onto the playing board for us to find…
I parked in Bishop St, and using my utes per square metre calculation, I was expecting much more visual entertainment on the way to the cache, but it must have been the wrong time of day… I did approach the cache from the right direction and had it in hand quickly…
Thanks alisNan for bringing me here today…

Out for a short solo run this afternoon. I parked at the end of Bishop Rd, then walked along the bikeway to these 3 new caches.
GPS had me right near the path, so I searched there for a bit before making my way in more. The cache is pretty precarious here, but I replaced it as I found it. TFTC, alisnan.

I dont know how i missed these three caches when they were published and only 1.6km from my work. I did spot them today and thought it would be nice to ride there after work. So i left STARS and rode along Herston rd to picot street and there were a couple of big hills that i zoomed down and then struggled up. i then enjoyed the ride along this path. How convenient that at GZ there was a bike stand for my bike. Now thats a good start. I left my bike and followed my compass and then started my search. I used the clue and ended up finding the cache in the last place to look. Now i spotted a path that would take me to my cache MANN of steel which is not far from where i left my car this morning and the ride ended up being all flat which was great as i was worried about the hills back on Herston rd. Thanks for showing me this bike track which i will use next time if fingers crossed there are more around this are. And thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Out for a short loop over to Enoggera Creek and then home via the Northern Cycleway (just a 25 km round trip). First call was coffee and cakes at that very great Italian Bakery Gerbino's a tad upstream from here and then exploring the new cache offering along the bikeway.
I had only been through here last week and i see the caches were placed at that time but not yet published. It was interesting to see how far the water has risen and today's ride was clearer as the Brisbane City Council keep progressing with the clean up. Unlike Kedron Brook cycleway which has been washed away in many places the cycleway along Enoggera Creek seems to have come out fairly well and only needs a bit of digging in placed to remove the layers of freshly eroded gravel.
I thought i was going to suffer the fate of the first DNF seeker at this location but I persevered and finally came up with the goods. I'd say this cache will only get easier to spot over time.

I didn’t get any notifications of these new caches so they must be just outside my zone.
I parked nearby and set off on foot.
What a great area. I’m surprised not to have been here before but it doesn’t ring any bells.
I missed this cache on the first pass but should have a) trusted the coords and b) taken off my sunglasses.
All good here though the amount of stuff lying around which looks like it floated here is a little alarming!

Despite my thorough search this morning at this location, and my suspicions that perhaps it had already gone missing/muggled, I logged a DNF and I thought I would keep watch on how this cache went. During the morning, I received a message from the CO that the cache was in fact missing. I thought as much! It then turned out that chamad replaced the cache on behalf of the CO, however then claimed the FTF? Wow, I thought that was very cheeky - how could the cache be found if it was missing?
I also noted chamad's 5/04/2022 log:
*... Looking further afield, we spotted something and sure enough, it was the cache.*
This seemed quite the opposite story that the CO had mentioned to me?
If the cache was missing and chamad replaced it, then just own it; don't need to keep fabricating the story. I guess there aren't really any FTF rules/guidelines in these sorts of situations, but if it was me, and the cache really was missing, then I would have shared the FTF with the initial visitor who logged the DNF, and perhaps been more open about the situation.
Anyway, with the cache replaced and subsequent finds had, I thought I would pay a visit whilst riding home (on the same day as my DNF). This time around with the cache being in place, it only took a couple of minutes of locating the container. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks alisnan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A nice location, and a shame that there was a bit of controversy (and the cache went missing prior to publish).

*FTDNF* First to DNF at 06:46 hr.
Had a pretty serious search across two visits and 30 minutes, but alas this 1.5 difficulty cache beat me today.
It looks like I will need to return another day.

Saw these new caches come out last night and thought I know the area it may be ok to go now but then thought I am too tired, lol. I had to drop the wife off at work so it was going to be a late start at grabbing these new caches. It was a nice morning so I took Maddie with me and we took the scooters for a little ride around. We came to this one and saw the FTF was still available. We looked around and found nothing in a good hiding spot. Looking further afield, we spotted something and sure enough, it was the cache. With our name in the log and the cache replaced as found, we headed off to get the other two in the area. Thanks for the cache hide.

A muggle decided to sit on one of the benches as I approached but he soon disappeared and, after checking a couple of spots, I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
