We were staying at Gwamma's for the weekend so we got to go caching. It was cold in here but we still found the cache. Thank you.
There were a couple of muggles nearby and after they moved on, we were able to make the find. Thanks for the placing of this cache.
TFT.Did not plan on this one, but ditch the teenagers for a quick find. Sorry had no log with me to replace this one.
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks anthls for the cache.

Lovely morning for a GC findMissed out on this one before so super glad to get it this timeWith Starky_27
The ladies made a nice quick find once they realised which side of the fence they needed to be on. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
In the city today for some after-work caching with Geoturtle37 and J of GJMMelb before dinner and catch-up with pwala. Initially, we found ourselves on the wrong side of the fence. Once that was remedied, it was a quick find thanks to the helpful hint. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, anthls ~~
Out for a late arvo of caching with OzHockeyChick and GeoTurtle37, on the way to a puzzling night at pwala's, this was next on the list. GT37 stayed in the car as there was no close parking and OHC and I headed to the cache or so we thought - whoops we need to be the other side of the fence. Once at GZ OHZ was fairly quickly on to the cache, as she glimpsed it reflectiong in the phone light. Log book is full, we signed on the side. Thankfully the doggies hadn't paid us any attention whilst we were there, they were having lots of fun.TFTC anthls - GJMMelb
When i arrived at gz the coordinates had me searching the wrong host for a while. After coming up blank i widened my search but still didnt find anything so i dithered from one likely hide to another without success. Then i met a couple of furry friends who distracted my searching even more which added to the time i took. Eventually i spied the cache right where it should have been all along. A pleasant walk, a pleasant search and a satisfying find today. Eades Place is find number 3,433 for me. A fun micro sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in City Of Melbourne. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. I am logging this one on Tuesday 4 June 2024 at 12:48 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 11C 62% 2 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy anthls.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
I had just begun searching for this cache when a male voice was heard from behind saying, Geocaching? It was a South African guy now living in New Zealand, and here for a short while out walking and cacheing the streets of sunny Melbourne. We found and logged the cache together quite quickly and chatted for a minute or two. He and his wife are enthusiastic geocachers. You meet the nicest people playing this game, this time IN a doggie park TFTC
Today I was back in Melbourne for a 2 day conference (3 day trip) and after dropping my luggage off, I decided to grab a few caches on the only free afternoon I really had on this short trip. I was outside the dog park looking for the cache and spotted it, so made my way there and was searching in what I thought was the right tree, but after a minute or two I saw another person on a bike head for the tree next to me.. "Are you a Geocacher?" I asked. Was great to meet LouJean70 and quickly found the cache and chatted for a minute or two before heading off.. Small world ! Thanks for the cache..
Easy find with my colleague Catherine! First geocaching experience for her, she is enjoying it! TFTC
Searched the wrong tree for a solid 20 before going back again to the actual one and finding it in 5 seconds.People watched on as some random guy rummaged for nothing while 2 dogs went at it in the background of the park. 10/10 experience, love MelbourneWorth the logTFTC
Went on a mini caching adventure on the Sunday morning of this heatwave long weekend. Picked up this cache today.TFTC
Swung by this morning but the park was packed with dog lovers. Knocked off work a bit early and found it a bit quieter in the afternoon. was a quick find once I got to the spot I had scoped on the first visit. Tftc!
Well after my two weeks away to Tasmania and then to SA for the Leap Year Mega Im now back at home so it is back to suburban caches after work to try and beat my last streak of 67.It is just a personal challenge that Im working on.So it is now decision time to either take a small detour on the way home or a larger detour on the way home to find a cache to keep this going.I had to call into Radio Parts to pick something up for work so the decision was made for me and it would be this cache. You got to love peak hour traffic.I eventually found somewhere to park and off I went.Only one doggo and its owner were here and they were leaving so I had the place to myself.I went in quickly just in case another doggo decided it needed some exercise.Cache was soon spotted and noe to find the traffic again. Thanks anthls TFTC.
A huge thank you to the cache owner for creating and maintaining a wonderful cache. EP79 and I have embarked on a three-month long geocaching trip across the globe, and we are both grateful and thrilled to discover new places and new friends. The first part of our trip is dedicated to Australia and New Zealand. We arrived in Melbourne on the Overland yesterday and settled in. Today, we went to the city centre exploring the parks and streets and geocaching on the way. Eades Place was our first cache, and we had no problems with the find.Sorry for logging with a delay. The trip was really busy, but at least I get to revisit these caches again and enjoy great memories. Many thanks for the invite to a beautiful place and for a wonderful geocaching adventure. Greetings from Prague, the Czech Republic, Europe.
Thank you for the cache!I arrived to Melbourne yesterday from Adelaide on the Overland, which was an amazing journey across spectacular landscape, and I saw my first kangaroo! I'm travelling and geocaching with my bestfriend Ironford, and today we spent in the centre of Melbourne. This was our first cache on the way from our hotel. The park was almost empty - there was just one guy with his dog, and they pretty much ignored us, so it was an easy find. I really like Australian parks because most of them look like botanic gardens to me.
With the large group of 38 people, we always try to save space when logging and not flood the mailbox. So we have our group name DOWNUNDER2024 One of the first excursions from the trip and a good start. T4t$ says viko76 from Berlin

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visite Melbourne, we walk in the streets guided by the caches. Thanks to the caches we visited, we learn a bit more about australia, because many sites evoke Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots

Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we went on nice excursions around the Melbourne area.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndy
We have traveled with 36 likeminded geocachers to Australia and New Zealand resulting in lots of opportunities for sightseeing and geocaching. Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????. Found with Geo hubby and dog, nice park for dogs. anthls, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area. ??
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 11/74, Thursday. After work I took a very nice walk in the surroundings of my accommodation. I visited two traditional caches today. No dogs here today - good. Well, actually, I would not mind the dogs, but the owners. This was quite a quick find. Thank you for the cache and greeting from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Interesting setup for a dog park, luckily I found the gate and started my search in the dark. Without the hint I wouldn't have made the find. It's exactly where it's supposed to be and the shiny metal made it easy to spot. Thanks!
I met up with Donutholes today at North Melbourne Railway Station to cache our way into the city to attend an event. With fences up to create a new dog park access is a little tricky. I spotted the hide while Donutholes went in for the grab Thank you anthls for the hide
Was working in the CBD today and decided to hang around after to join in on a nearby event. This means it was a perfect time to meet up with Sims_family and collect a handful of smiley faces!!Looks like this place is being updated/turned into a dog park. Quick find on an early morning walk before going back to Sunbury. Using my torch helped me make the find. TFTC
Found by The EmpireVenturing into North Melbourne unveils a rich tapestry of parks that offer respite, recreation, and a glimpse into the diverse communities that call this part of the city home. From the iconic Royal Park to hidden gems nestled between neighbourhoods, exploring North Melbourne's parks is a journey through green havens that blend natural beauty with cultural vibrancy. As the sun began to set, I marveled at the harmonious coexistence of urban life and green spaces in North Melbourne. Each park, with its unique character and offerings, contributes to the vibrant mosaic of this dynamic city precinct. Thanks for the cache anthls.-M
After a big day at the races yesterday, I needed a brisk walk, a black aspirin and a bite to eat to set me straight for our last day in Melbourne.I had a few severs on my radar for this mornings expedition and this was one of them. I quickly found where I needed to be and headed to ground zero.In no time I laid my hands on the prize extracted the log and made my mark. Returned safely and was on my way to the next challenge. A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Out for an evening scooter around Melbourne to cleanup some caches in central Melbourne. It was a bit difficult to try and navigate and drive the scooter at the same time so I just tried to remember the basic turns and intersections and only buggered it up a few times. A great night out with minimal muggle interactions. Thanks to the local COs for a great time.
Had to hop a fence to grab this one, but was In great shape! On a 10 day trip to Australia, visiting Sydney, Cairns, and Melbourne and getting some caches during the trip. Visiting from Chicago. TFTC!
Out and about again, Im in Victoria continuing the quest for more interstate caches. Weather was ok so made the most of the time here with a bit of sightseeing too.Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds todayThanks to all the COs for the hides I found.
Navigating the dog shit...difficult to know whether to look up or down but got there eventually.
Found. I had some time to kill before my appointment at the hospital so I went for a walk and found this cache. I felt a bit conspicuous being alone in the dog park but made my way to what I thought was GZ. This doesn't look right, maybe its over there. The device says back where I was. Tried again, then back to the second place, put away the device and just had a good look around. Spotted the cache and signed the log and replaced as found. TFTC
In Melbourne for work so I decided to go for a wander around some streets and nab a cache or two. The spot was very busy tonight with dogs and families enjoying the park. I snuck in, found cache and quietly left (signed as GS). I figure we are helping the dog lovers as we are getting counted as using the dog park when we arent really! Ha ha. Thanks for the fun and adventure.
There was a tonne of muggles close to GZ, bit my tongue and just went in for the cache. I feel as though I was invisible as they didnt even notice me, quickish find after standing inside to look out, thanks
I found this cache today on my 29,000 step walk from Docklands, through North Melbourne and Kensington and on to Footscray. On arrival, I thought that the area was closed off for construction but realised that it was a makeshift dog park fencing. Made my way in and made the find. First ever find in this park. Thanks from D B-A
Quick easy find was hoping to find the travel bug but unfortunately its not here
That was fun, in work suit I simply walked in petting a few dogs, studied a tree across the park, the leaves intently, pick a couple and walked out sniffing the leaves. Couple dog carers nearby looks a little surprise, but had no clue of the real purpose. All in excellent condition, leaves were uninspiring lol. Thanks for sharing this location anthis #2023
Tree caches and I are not compatible. I also
