A caching day in Geelong for the Christmas festivities! Meet up with Posums who Ive missed heaps as its months and months this since we cached together. A quick find here. It was missing last time so nice to turn that frown upside down! Cheers for the cache.

02-Dec-23
Once I heard the Geelong Christmas event dates had been locked in, I booked my accommodation for the 2 nights required at Little River.I headed down last night to save the longer drive this morning and also I could get a sleep in as well.I woke up to a rather damp morning but that has never put us Geocachers off before. After the Morning Tea event I got a message from my caching buddy Gemma Sistema that she was one her way down to Geelong and it was time to catch up.Life has got in the way of our caching days out together so it was great to catch up again and head out for a few laughs.Gemma drove us around today and I was supposed to navigate, so what came out of today is that Im a lousy navigator so it will back to the driving for me on our next adventures. The lunch time event and CITO have been done and dusted so now to find a few more till we all meet up in Little River for tea.A nice quiet spot that was nearly a park and grab. Thanks teamashy TFTC.

On the way to Ballarat to stay with Mr Dromaniax's parents before a medical appointment tomorrow.

We enjoyed the good weather today, and we're heading up late in the afternoon.

We arrived at the location for this cache just as the sun was dipping below the horizon.

We hope we didn't attract the attention of too many muggles because after we arrived, it seemed everyone in the street had to run errands at the same time.

We found the cache in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache teamashy.

**FTF** Had gotten home half an hour ago after an epic caching afternoon. Just finished a much needed shower when Ping! went the phone. Ooh, close but not real close. A quick msg to two caching buddies, but they were all busy. All mine they say. We'll have to see about that. It's always a temptation to speed to a ftf, but I restrained myself. Que sera sera and all that. Arrived at gz, already a car, but no one there. Still crossing fingers. Read the hint as my gps wouldn't settle. Hoped no one in the nearby houses is watching me. Had a wander back to my original location and there was the cache exactly as described! Opened the log and woot, ftf! Congratulations on your first hide teamashy. May you create many more caches! Thanks for the hide.
