----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there GeoRRider,It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident. The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.A full explanation for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and **the cache will be de-listed (Archived) at the end of the 14 day period, without further recourse to the CO.** TwistedIt would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above. Thanks for your cooperation,Bunjil (Pete & Helen)Volunteer Reviewers - Australia[3B]

Found today after finally finishing one of my nemesis caches - third time lucky. This one only took a couple of minutes to spot the correct angle, but then took another 3 or 4 minutes before I could safely retrieve it. Once logged, it took another couple of minutes before I could safely replace it.Thanks to GeoRRider for the cache.

Found it!! It took a while but me Daniel, Ella, and Jackson found it within ten minutes bring tradables because theres super cute stuff inside

Yes its a biggish box, but not the biggest Ive seen, BUT I do congratulate GeoRRider for even placing such a large cache in an urban environment. The location was also interesting and I wish we had more time to explore the park. I was lucky that there werent many muggles around and those who were more interested in their dogs than what was doing.

13:33With plans to attend the Catch Up Event on Herring Island, later in the day, this cache and a few others drew us to parts of Melbourne we have not seen in years, certainly this park, we made a quick cache find, which was not surprising. As we approached, the cache was clearly visible in the hiding location. Returned as requested in the cache notes.**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Future seekers would appreciate a refresh of the log on which to record their visit, please.Thank you to the CO who placed this cache.37414

I was headed to the West side of Melbourne until something came up and I had to turn around but thought I would stop for at least one cache and happened to be near this one and I do like a bigger cache. Never have visited this park before and once I strolled in towards GZ, the GPS function in the app seemed to be jumping around quite a bit and relied on my geo instincts. From a read of the description and the cache name, I thought I may have been looking for a cache disguised in a box like object and I wandered around wondering and probably over thinking it. I got out the app again to try the navigation again and knew I was very close. Finally spotted the goods and was quite chuffed over the find. You don't find these every day and certainly not around the inner suburbs although I do know there is one in Brighton. I retrieved the log book, left the cache in its home and went to sit down to sign. Interesting choice of log book also and I think it could use an update given the current year. It seems slightly damp but not damp that you can't write in it as you can. I signed and returned it to the cache and replaced the cache as best I could away from prying eyes. Many thanks to GeoRRider for a rare placement in a nice location. Deserving of a favourite point from me.

My very first cashe with CollettMelb. Thanks

It's a lovely sunny day meaning a walk is called for. So my first stop was to revisit this cache as it's the closest of any type to home and I was last here when I'd just started caching in 2020. I'd forgotten how great the container is! Anyway all safe though the log book was out of its plastic pouch and slightly damp (it'll dry out) and the cache lid was slightly ajar. I signed the log again and made sure all packed up properly safe and sound.

Today we headed to Altona mainly to check out the new pier and to get some lunch and enjoy these clear winter days. After a tour around Altona we started heading back home and through Port Melbourne to avoid paying tolls and why not when there were a few caches to find.Nice easy find here and well done on hiding such a large cache in this area. A favourite from me.Thanks GeoRRider for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

10:46The light rail delivered me to my favourite stop, atop a notorious truck-devouring bridge not too far from here, to help shift some stuff.Ever happy to seize an opportunity, n0w0rries and I took a detour in the truck at our disposal after loading it up, and miraculously found a parking spot nearby. An audacious hide, GeoRRider.#8953

On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. SmileDay 24/74, Wednesday. After the working day, I took the tram to the Port Melbourne area and spent a nice evening there, walking and geocaching there. This took a bit longer from me than it should have, considering that it is such a big box. Smile It just tried to hide so well. Thank you for the cache, and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Very sad not to find. Looked for ages but no sign of it Sad

27-Jan-24
Found by Mary and David at 12:05. Our indicated GZ was out on the grass (see Google Satellite View), so took a little while to find it. Had to wait for some walkers, joggers and doggers to pass first. A FP for the bigger container. Impressed that we didn't have to pay to park. Our thanks to GeoRRider.

An event in Fed Square dragged me back into the city for the nth time this week, this time with buhfuhguh in tow, as we embarked on a fairly high-terrain caching day - especially peculiar given our largely urban environment! Some big targets were finally achieved with the aid of the ladder, tree fishing pole, whatever else was lying around in the car (toll road tag included), and the Herring Island punt!I remember reading a Reddit post a while back about struggling to find hiding spots in a suburb filled with TTCs, and correctly guessing which suburb that might've been!I've been meaning to visit this CO's hides in the following years and finally got around to one!I'm very glad you were able to find an appropriate spot to put such a great-sized container in an urban environment in the midst of all those 161m radii! There were a few people hanging out elsewhere in the park but they weren't bothered by us, and I was soon able to identify a likely spot right on the posted coordinates and spotted the cache from the right angle tucked nicely within.Great to see a similarly sized logbook that I added our names to on today's date (albeit last year!)A favourite point for pulling this one off! Thanks to GeoRRider for this hide! Smile

13 January 2024 6:12pmDay in the city, caching with Brain before he heads up to ACT for the next 5 years... sounds good to me. Packed with many odds and ends to pick up some choice caches within the Royal Park, Docklands and Port Melbourne area, we were keen to get some fun numbers and do some research for our next caching challenge.

It was nice and easy for my first cache. Thanks.

20-Dec-23
Found during a sunny walk in MCheck!

11-Dec-23
Just a big box all right, but sadly it had been evicted from its hidey hole, emptied of its contents and left out in the rain a couple of metres away. The large log was also out of its bag and kinda soggy on this drizzly Melbourne morning. Did my best to rebag, reseal, reclose and rehide - deep - so I hope it will fare better in future TFTC

Another quick cache while in the area, I immediately spotted it upon approach.I have hid it a bit better for the next finder Thank you for the cache!

06-Nov-23
While we had sometime until we had to be at our lunch reservation we thought wed try our luck at finding some caches. This is our second find of the day. Upon walking to GZ we spotted it instantly. The lid on the container was open, and the log book has gotten a bit mouldy and damp - it is still singable. The log book has been defaced some silly drawings, so could be due to be changed out. Weve hidden it a bit better as it was out in the open, but is in the same spot. Thank you for an interesting cache!

I love big hides, you get bored looking for the same old micro all the time. Walked up to this one and spotted straight away as was half hanging out.Signed log bookFyi log book seems to have some interesting logs Took the tb

Log book a bit damp, also something sweet had been placed so I removed that- attracts ants etc.Not exactly what I was expecting, given other possible hide locations not far away. Thanks for putting it out there. Dog walkers out & about; market set up across the park. TFTC

No luck today

I was in the area to pick up some cargo and had failed in my attempt to get a nearby multi (TOTT removed to make room for said cargo). This was plan B.I arrived at GZ to find the decent sized cache tucked away but it really was quite exposed. Im not sure if there has been significant pruning here but the host was barely big enough to hide the cache.I signed the log and covered the cache as best as could be done. Id recommend the CO check on this one, particularly if this previously had ample camo coverage. Thanks GeoRRider for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------The 12 Days of Cachemas series is now live. 09-Sep-23
In town for a concert today, and took the opportunity to search out a few caches afterwards.
A pleasant surprise to see a container of this size in the urban environment. The cache was tucked away, but the lid had not been closed. Fortunately the contents were dry and intact, although I found a pen had fallen out.
After signing, the container was correctly reset.
TFTC GeoRRider ??
