TFTC mackay_geocaching your cache GEOCROC-49 that we found today. Out on the bikes with Team JLBL, Snakepitters, DiMorgan and Liz and Bruce. Did a circuit on the Bluewater bike trail. Hi there mackay_geocaching, we found your cache GEOCROC-49 today. Its day 10 of our geocaching trip to Mackay. Today we thought we would attack some of the bike trail caches. Had to circle around a bit to find this one Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
TFTC smile20494 Out and about on a Sunny day grabing a cache to try and keep a challenge going signed as GS1947 on small logs With geofriends having a great time lots off walking and dirty shoesStill logging Thank you mackay_geocaching for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Another early start today with a plan to get in some paddle caches along the river, however the recent drizzles have put a little dampener on today's plans. With the change of plans, it is now a drive and cache day. We did still manage to get out and get in a couple of water caches but the tide was all wrong for us and the forecast was for heavier rains later in the day so we decided to abort and go with plan B. The walk around collecting some more of the croc series was nice, yet in that open area it was very windy. We then headed out to grab some multi's and a couple of tree fishing caches before a rugged terrain walk to a couple of challenges of which we aborted one, (next time). The rain did not dampen our spirits and we still had a lot of laughs and a nice time caching and checking out areas of Mackay. There are a lot of caches in this little town and surprisingly they are all there in place. We managed to find most of the caches on our trip and all logs were signed, and all caches were replaced as found. Thanks for the placements here and I'm sure we will be back for the remainder at some point.
We woke up early to a rainy, windy day, so we continued on with our plans best we could with our fowl weather gear on hand.Nearly got blown off our feet at times, but we still managed to find over thirty caches today. All the caches found were in good condition, and a couple were hard to get to but were easy to find once at GZ.Thank you, mackay_geocaching, for another great lot of caches placed for the benefit of the geocaching community.
Caching in the area we pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

In the Mackay area for a few days, have a lot of this solved but probably not enough time to find many of them.
This one was a nice walk close to an errand we were running.

Geomobile getting new shoes put on and so decided to do a maintenance run on Segway. Cache in good condition.
A some what last moment trip to town so got solving on a few of the puzzles and art work. No boat and not enough time so the T5’s will have to wait and would prefer a crew given the potential for big green lizards. A great couple of days in between other activities. Wasn’t sure how I would go with some of the T4.5’s and suspect some will be easier by boat but with some careful timing and keeping an eye out picked off most of them. A few searches and bites of various sorts but no sightings of those able to give really big bites

Thanks Mackay Geocaching for the awesome puzzles. Got some help on solving some of the puzzles but fun finding the caches. SL
Our group Team Mackz has slowly been solving these puzzles with a bit of local help. Finally got out for a walk to get them with a couple of locals. Found with gcquest79, mackcacher1208, cachequest11. Thanks Geocaching Mackay for creating this series for us to enjoy. A few of these locations definately had eyes on the lookout for crocs but none spotted.
A nice day out on the bike path today following the others getting some geocaches. We tried out the purple scooters which were fun. thanks for the ca$he
T4T$ Decided to head out along the River Walk to pick up a few more Croc Caches. Wishing the clouds would drop some of that promised rain...
we couldn't see it in the short time we looked, will have another look another time with our caching eyes on
With a few hours spare before flying home today I was able to start on this great new geoart.
Quick find.

I travelled down from Townsville yesterday to pick up several of these geocroc geoart caches that I needed for my DT grid. I brought my kayak down but as I was walking around to grab some of them I somehow managed to come across BenM70 and burgo78 at one of the caches I walked to. They were boating to them but picking up others on the way. I asked if I could tag along for some of the ones I’ve solved. As I visited them, I signed the logs anyway and hopefully will get to solving them later
Sorry for this generic logging but it was quite a busy day yesterday and I had to keep track of what ones I came too in and in what order.
The habitat that the caches are located is simply stunning. It is nice to see clean clear water in the creeks here compared to the muddy waters we see at the Bohle
A neat little visual puzzle and a short walk from the last clears this little section

Currently out and about picking up smileys this fine Saturday in the hope that we cam complete the Mackay crocodile GeoArt and add a few more FTFs to the collection
Certainly happy to have picked up a few first to solves along the way early on when these first trickled out but missed the boat when the latter were released. It’s not like I’m in the running to win a jigidi race
Nice to see that you can pretty much complete a DT loop in Mackay now.
Final one while we have the boat in the water today. Not a bad run. Got some great DT’s for the FTF grid.
Thanks mackay_geocaching for placing these. A great series so far. Nice an challenging in places. Always nice to be out on the water

Not surprisingly Townsville caching has fallen into a lull after the buzz of the Mega so Ben and I turned our attention to solving Mackay’s new geoart as it was released.
With the generous DT of the last instalment we brought our plans forward to make the trip down to collect the series as we both needed a couple for our FTF grids and I needed two of the combos for my 8th DT loop.
With an early (middle of the night to me) 5:15am start we set off from home with the boat in tow. Ben did his best to get us there as quickly as possible, drafting to increase speed and limit fuel consumption (I’m assuming).
Moored up in the inlet before making the last of finds on the water.
26 finds in 4.5 hours. I’d recommend a 3m+ tide to get through that number and avoid scraping the bottom. Very enjoyable afternoon on the water.
Thanks mackay_geocaching for creating and placing this for us to enjoy. Nice idea puzzle.

Got to gz on a cool and windy day with scattered showers.
Not many muggles walking along the path so had time to look for the container.
Found the tell tail sign of this co's hides in this series.
Another fun cache and puzzle.
