The led light is not working. I have checked the switch, wiring and battery. I cannot get it to work. A quick trip to Jaycar is required to perhaps rebuild the board or new led globe. Then a quick solder of new parts to get this one back in the game asap.
How cool is this cache! Glad I came here on a weekend, although if the cafe was open I wouldve bought a coffee. Dropped trackable.
Awesome cache. The cafe was quiet when we called by. No gunshots.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Nice owners here today helped us with this one, the cache was found and is all good here fav from usTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the series
Not being a huge fan of awkward situations I decided to visit this one on a Sunday, when the business in question was closed.Arriving late afternoon with Geoson The Younger (aka Corvius) we quickly located what turned out to be a quite excellently concealed container and having made use of the hint to gain access the suitcase was acquired and opened. A bit of a shame that an additional bit of themed "colour" was not working but we could still appreciate the time and effort that had gone into it all.Signed the log, thanks for the adventure, OSHFAM - another fave point from us!
In Tassie with geopartner for a quick getaway for the footy and some tourist things... plus a few cachesHad to PAF as I way over thought this and then they corrected me back yo basics for a neat find. Thanks to OSHFAM for the fun and the adventure.
It was a clever cache, and the old folks wished Tiz13 wellYou could see that Tiz13 truly had no idea...She searched high and low and got distracted by a post.."C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell.Tiz13 kept jiving while trying to find this geo cache and was thankful she had come after hours. Geo instincts said search ###..oh NO Tiz13 had to search everywhere else first and then upon her last effort, before reaching out to a PAF, she searched ### and the doh moment hit.."C'est la vie," say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell.Tiz13 happens to be a big fan of pulp fiction and enjoyed finding this cache ... even if the song Jack Rabbit Slims Twist Contest/You Never Can Tell kept playing on repeat on her head all day..
This morning I took care of the Karkarook Park Run, and then it was time to find a quality cache. Hmmm, this one in the industrial estate fits nicely. The diner was DEAD quiet, and it made for a fast find. I'm not convinced of the 1/1 rating, but all is good. I loved the style of hide, and the briefcase was perfect. Thanks for the inventive cache!
TFTC- my god I over thought where this one was hidden. Lucky I came at night or I would have looked like a fool to anyone around
Embarking on a night caching adventure with Crustyvarmint, Linjoh, and Detstar was a nostalgic delight after years. The thrill of uncovering hidden treasures and the unparalleled camaraderie made the night truly memorable. With my reliable big torch in hand, finding those elusive caches became effortless, turning an ordinary night into an extraordinary adventure. Grateful for the cache that added a spark of excitement to the experience. love the little led light well constructed thank you for the cache
Out tonight with Lynjoh, Juzzmagic and Detsta, we called in here and were pleased to have the area all to ourselves. It didn't take long to locate the container, but then how to open it? The hint had us opening it and signing the log. Thanks OSHFAM. Another high quality cache deserving a favourite point.
Out early together over this side of town to deliver one of Rick's bike parts for repair, so thought we'd do a few nearby. Glad we got a smile from the Cafe owner, as we were a bit nervous finding this one. A great hide, thanks. Gets a FP.
Find 3233 This was our first cache for the day. At 11.00am there were many tradies about getting a snack and a coffee.Parked close by and observed the area around GZ. We thought this is not going to be easy as all tables had people on them.Anyway we walked over and at this point people were finishing up and just like that no one.We started the search and then suddenly something caught my eye. A lot of body manovering and with the required numbers, I got to the briefcase. Wow and then the log was signed and all back as found.Enjoyed this cache that it gets a favourite point from us.Thanks OSHFAM for your creativity and well made cache.
16:17The olds are going on a cruise around Tassie, so I had to drop them off at the ship. Now that I'm out and about...Go on a Sunday, they said... it'll be deserted, they said.Except when it's mid-December and either the last orders are being rushed out, or end of year stock counts are happening. The whole estate was a hive of activity, and the stock in trade of the business behind was neatly stacked all along their driveway... and through GZ.I half expected to be sprung while laying down getting access to the suitcase. Not that it would have mattered, of course. But anyway, I was left to my own devices.Speaking of devices: another excellent one, OSHFAM. #8072
Maintenance CheckAll in good working order.Hard to see the light to get full effect during daylight. Best effect at night time when its dark. Logbook replaced with clean fresh one.
Some thoroughly weird weather set the backdrop for today's adventure which was simultaneously humid, rainy and sunny! But with the annual COTY event taking place in Hampton tonight, I braved it all (as well as Beach Road, which requires near-instinctive skills to navigate) and even got to grab some of the local offerings over the course of the afternoon in locations that would, under nicer conditions, likely be far busier than today!I pulled up to this cache at quite a convenient time, as the owner informed me that they were closed - not to worry, I'm here for something slightly different! As promised, they were super cool guys and I got to scamper around for a bit until I spotted this pretty neat construction. Now unlocked, I got to reveal the secrets within!Certainly deserving of a favourite point for an excellent execution of a novel concept. As previously noted by past finders, the logsheet is also now full, so I encroached on 999Hunter's territory (which is not especially out of character). Thanks to OSHFAM for placing this hide!
Very cool find, we waited inside with a coffee while the area cleared up! Employees/owners were great, definitely recommend. Only thing was the physical log was full when we wentTFTC-The Fast Dinos
Its only really 1:1 if the venue isnt occupied. Today no one is here so I was able to take my time to get it. TFTC
I had made a feeble attempt to find this one a couple of times previously but it was clear the muggles would make it difficult. So I returned today and had the place to myself and was out of sight to a next door workplace where people were working. Wow ..loved this cache, so carefully thought out, creatively built and sneakily hidden. Thanks OSHFAM another well deserved favourite point from me.
Came after hours and streets are deserted, save for a teen on his mower powered bicycle. Waited for him to complete his land speed tests before a quick search revealed the cache and its cool log. TFTC OSHFAM, its a favourite point from me.
Our second hunt for the day and after searching around the wrong object for a little bit we finally turned our attention to another nearby object then after fiddling around with the container for a bit we finally got into it! As always a very nicely constructed cache it almost makes me think I should watch pulp fiction sometime lol ?? TFTC! A FP from me for a great concept and container! ??
Came after hours on a walk. Missed it at first but after some more searching I found it in the original spot I looked. TFTC
Last and best cache of our Mordialloc afternoon, we actually approached this in darkness. What a wonderful cache this is, twisted and with a twist! We ended the evening with some planespotting; we were in the direct flightpath of aircraft coming in to land. Great stuff! A fav pt coming your way .. TFTC OSHFAM
Waiting on part from Jaycar. Then some soldering and should have it back in the game soon.
TFTC. Lucky we came during the weekend. Not sure how we would get it otherwise! A bit of a wander around but found it quite quickly.
Found this cache on a Saturday morning, decently easy spot to find. Seems like there was some circuitry that doesn't work. Maybe battery? TFTC!
Located at 5:24pm. #1329.
Well that very incredibly and suitably epic! I could and would only ever attempt this cache on the Sunday and I am glad to have located it on this beautifully sunny afternoon’s jaunt around the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Well-implemented and set in place by the CO, a great theme, location and hide design; although, *controversial and contrarian opinion* alert, whilst Pulp Fiction is a really good film worthy of its cult status, Inglorious B%sterds comes out on top each and every time for me.
I was also greatly reminded of the excellent Pixies tune Monkey Gone To Heaven whilst keying in the devil’s number.
Once I had obtained CIH, I inscribed my name upon the parchment before returning the cache as found. FP + 1.
Спасибо большое! Baruch Hashem! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement OSHFAM!

I do remember watching Pulp Fiction a good 20 years ago. I remember that I enjoyed it but that’s about all!
This was a great cache, thanks OSHFAM. I stopped here on my way home as I have a calendar hole to fill. It was a joy
There was no one anywhere near here fortunately.
Very cleverly hidden and a great container.
A favourite point for the great container and for boldly placing a cache here.

I walked to this cache from Moorabin airport, through a lot of industrial sheds, and was amazed to find this lovely cafe in the middle of such an industrial area. I made an assumption about the cache location and spent far too long dwelling on that idea. I changed focus and found the very clever cache soon after. Just brilliant. It was lucky that it was a very quiet time at the cafe.
Out for the day with ahomburg and Earthbound Chief. We decided some caching was, of course, in order! We searched the map, looking for an area we all had a lot to find.

Thanks for the caches and puzzles we have had fun solving, OSHFAM

After a very miserable and wet Melbourne morning we headed out after lunch with the geo Sister / Sister-in-law who was down from Bendigo for a few days to find some caches we spotted with a large number of favourites. The area was deserted today and we were able to search without any interruptions. It wasn't long before Mrs Pooky spotted the prize with Mr Pooky doing the retrieval. TF this very well constructed cache, a favourite from us. We did leave a TB to be moved on.
My son was amazed by how cool this cache was. Thanks for the excitement your cache brought him
I'd been on a Costco run (disappointing, with a number of items unavailable) and as a salve to my annoyance I thought I'd do a little caching in the area. First up was this little beauty. I'm glad I arrived at a little past 6pm otherwise I'm sure I would've been observed.
A well constructed cache in an interesting location. I'd be interested to hear about the genesis of the concept.
Oh, I did love Pulp Fiction and thus appreciated the construction of the cache.

Wanted to log a final cache to see out 2022 and this was just around the corner. Nobody around which made this simple. TFTC and happy new year!
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. I cant say I was a fan of the movie, but I can say I am a fan of this cache and it gets a Fav. The location gave us a chance to pick up some refreshments, for me a well needed coffee to swill all the food down that I had eaten at the event. Also gave us chance to have a quick chat to the owners before making the find.
Thanks OSHFAM for the cache.

In the area for an event and hopefully some smiles on the map.
It was also great to be back caching in the sun.
Under observation of the local shop owners we soon had the clever cache and cold drink in had.
Cheers for the cache

We used the latter part of the afternoon to look for some caches in the Kingston LGA to meet, in part, the requirements of some challenge caches. This was one of the caches.
Being Saturday afternoon, all was quiet when we arrived which enabled us to search without any hassles. We had to widen the search area but we soon found another very well designed and presented cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks OSHFAM for another quality cache - it also earns a favourite from us.

We hadn't pre read this one but arrived at the perfect time, Not a soul to be seen as all the businesses were closed. Thanks for this cache.
An after-work caching expedition with Geoturtle37.
Thankfully, the area was deserted which made for a quick easy find.

We thought that we would sneak in here when it was nice and quiet.
We swooped in and discovered the boldly hidden container. Naturally, it took us a few orientations before we found the right one.
Thanks OSHFAM for placing this creative cache here.

Grabbed a coffee and had a chat with the boys. The egg and bacon roll was delicious too.

I was in the area on a Sunday and I looked on my phone for caches nearby and this one was about 8min drive away.
I'm a big Pulp Fiction fan and have read the theory numerous times.
All was quiet when I arrived, I hadn't read the cache page yet and I was a bit confused as to where the cache might be.
Still in the car I had a quick scan of the cache page and decided all was clear for a look around.
I'm surprised this cache hasn't got more fave points (definitely gets one from me!).
Cache was quickly spotted. The correct combination entered and the briefcase was in hand.
It was a sunny day so the full effect was a bit lost but very impressive none the less.
Signed the log and safely secured the cache back into place.
Thank you for this cache - I have already told a semi muggle friend about it and will be bringing her by for a look soon.

Needed a puzzle cache today for a challenge, I couldnt sit on this solved "Tanked" puzzle for long, so it was my first target for an early evening caching run. Afterwards I just targeted the nearby caches that looked interesting, this being one.
After hours at this site is definitely quieter, with the only traffic in the industrial estate, the few workers who couldn't knock off early. But I was still worried there might be a Friday night drinking mob onsite.
I enjoy the Pulp Fiction movie, but can't say that I've ever really considered what was in the case. Guess I now know.
Thanks for the cache OSH FAM

Well this one was interesting. Got here not long after shutdown and looked around before finding the cache. Very well done indeed!
Came by after work to grab this one.
A quick find but love the Pulp Fiction theme
Fantastic! TFTC

Came here for some lunch again as I work nearby. The owners are indeed super cool guys. They said I found the prize faster than anyone they've seen so far. Maybe I'm actually ok at this game lol. Appreciate the effort put into creating this cache. "It's beautiful"
Found at 5:58 pm.
I need to fill a calendar day today and this wasn't too far away. Luckily I read the opening hours in the description properly and arrived just after dark.
Glad I did, got the full effect of the cache and it saved any awkwardness being here during the day. A favorite from me.
Thanks OSHFAM for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

We found Pulp Fiction - The Diner Standoff after realising that we had not found a cache all month.
Knowing all about the hide, we timed our retrieval on a day that noone else was around and found the most excellently designed and olaced cache.
Another cracker cache from the devious and imaginative mind of OSHFAM
Thanks OSHFAM for hiding this cache so that we could come and enjoy ourselves

I found the original almost 2.5 years ago, a short 2 weeks before its demise. It's great to see it has risen from the ashes, as it was a fab concept back then, even better now!
So with great happiness we headed down here after work on Saturday. But we had to detour to a nearby drinking establishment (unfortunately this cafe had closed for the day) to sample some interesting brews.
Luckily it was found without any awkwardness. What a wonderful design. Thanks OSHFAM for the effort and creativity you put into your caches. FP but deserving of so much more!

Headed to the South East today to catch up with gmj3191 for a coffee at a cafe with a cache. I also had a couple of other caches in mind to satisfy my multi and unknown calendar day challenges.
I kicked off with this well engineered container.
Loved it and apparently it is fun for all, seekers, owners and muggles

Our last find for the day. We usually don't like searching in areas we seemed exposed especially on private properties. We searched for a few minutes and then Lyn spotted the cache. With a little help to open the lock we were soon able to sign the log. Replaced as found. As this was mid afternoon the the outdoor dining area was vacant and allowed us to search without a problem. Although apparently under the watchful eye of cafe staff. This was a nicely thought out cache and deserves a favourite point. On departure we received a thumbs up from cafe staff! Thanks to OSHFAM for the cache.

What a great little cache.
After my disappointing experience at the last one, this was a reassuring experience.
Beautifully constructed, well placed and pretty muggle proof, and a delight to find.
It was also directly under the landing flightpath today for Moorabbin airport so had that additional interest.
This was my first day caching for a while as an Achilles injury and wet weather has restricted my movements lately
Clearly gets a fav point. Thanks Kasia.
**Thanks for the fun OSHFAM**

Day off work today, with lunch at the pub being bosses shout.... can't complain at all with the new job. With that done and dusted I now had to make my way up to Carnegie to go out for dinner.
With a quick couple circles I clicked onto what was wanted and soon the cache was in hand and signed. Thanks for the cache and the little detour.

I have been saving a few caches close to home for a day like today when I was needing a few finds and I didn't want to go far.
I remember the first version of this one taking a bit longer to find than this one and it looks as though some of this one as a familiar look.
It was nice and quiet around here at this time of the day so it was a quick in sign and back to the car where it was a little warmer and drier.
**Thanks to OSHFAM for placing this cache.**

Came on a Saturday afternoon after 1pm and this was indeed the perfect time for a hunt around without anyone watching. A short search revealed the treasure. TFTC a favourite.
At 10pm on the 13 April snuggled in my bed and scanning the Geo map I noticed this new cache. No one had logged it so it must of just been published. My thoughts went out to all the FTF caching hounds scrambling out to make the find.
A few weeks later I remembered this cache and was surprised the first find was made the following morning - Very early.
By the time I went to have the look for the cache it was in need of maintenance.
But today I noticed it was back up and on my way home from Southland took a detour to make the find. The poor light (and eyesight)made it hard to see the numbers and I was glad it was after hours as I positioned myself to retrieve the log. A great idea and a very well constructed cache deserves a favourite point. TFTC
A few weeks later I remembered this cache and was surprised the first find was made the following morning - Very early.

TFTC! A great concept and execution.
Due to the hour, made it certainly easy to find and return! Thanks for the cache OSHFAM.

After Virtual, stopped there. No muggles today. An excellent one that is why I put fav from me and found your cache OSHFAM, thank you so much for placing it.

Second FTF for the day.
9th Cacheversary.
Breaky time.
*Full log to follow.*
Thank you.
**Happy to also add your 400th Fav Point.**
So glad I set my alarm an hour earlier than I needed to last night.
After finding one new cache much closer to home, I headed down here on my way to Dandenong South.
First port of call was to say "hi" to Jarrad and Damien and put in my breakfast order.
As the muffin and coffee were being prepared I headed back outside.
Accurate coordinates made for a rather easy find. Retrieving the cache as dawn was breaking proved a tad awkward for these old eyes but I persevered.
With the cache in hand I returned into the shop to sit and have my breakfast whilst admiring the cache and signing the crisp new log book.
I answered a few questions from the guys and they were also greatly impressed by your good work OSHFAM.
Replacing the cache was typical. A mad influx of workers seeking their morning caffeine boost to kick start the day. Eventually the cache was returned, securely into the hide.
I hope more people come during business hours as it is well worth the visit.
