Took a while for GPS to settle before finding GZ. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO
TFTC,In the area finding caches in LGA's I have not been inLowered our minimum to 2 in each LGA, time is against us.Difficult GPS signal, visited trackables.
A nice straightfprward find in the middle of completing the AD Lab. A truly magnificent park that we did not know existed. It was well worth the effort.Family matters have brought us to Melbourne for a period of time yet to be determined. As we spend time here however it gives us the opportunity for some caching in areas we would not usually get to.We chased a wide variety of caches and Labs with some great puzzles and Labs in some beautiful spring weather.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Deepsky24.**SKI Pair****
Beautiful gardens and a quick find! Greetings from Vancouver Canada!Thank you Deepsky24 for the cache.
Fun, but only swag item was a old, rusty lighter + it is hard to reach and you are sure to get a few cuts from random sticks.
Such lovely weather today for a walk and a successful cache find! Saw these beautiful flowers on the way. TFTC! PS we found that the GPS wasnt quite right and rather to focus on the hint and general geocaching knowledge for this one.
This one took my ages to find for some reason. Came back about 5 times each for 30 mins plus and fluffed around to find it. Finally bumped into it today and safe to say no muggles are finding this - likely because the gps is a bit off. TFTC and glad I could finally find it
Find number 13559 at 1:09:58PM on Monday the 5 August 2024Out doing some chores today and had to come over this way to pick up some stuff, I might as well grab a cache or two before I head back towards home.I was here about a week ago grabbing the Adventure Lab but forgot to look and see if there were any local caches, missed it then, made up for it today.**Thanks for placing this cache Deepsky24**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Log your will attend for [**SideTracked Day 2024**](https://coord.info/GCAPPGF) on 10 August 2024 at the Miniature Railway Park in Eltham. The Great Victorian Cache Crawl is coming on 17-18 August 2024, this year starting near Melbourne heading up around Echuca and back over the weekend. Grabbed while doing the adventure lab in the beautiful park. Sl thanks for the cache.
I cant believe I have never visited this park before! Thank you so much for bringing me to this beautiful place.Set out to find this one on a cold Tuesday morning. After a bit of searching and allowing GPS to settle, I realised GZ would possibly be better approached from a different angle. Sure enough, second approach was correct and after not too long cache was in hand.TFTC
Stunning tones in the foliage today. Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful area. Day three of my attack on Victorian LGAs. I woke later than I expected to a grey, miserable looking day promising scattered showers which I didn't really relish as I was hoping for at least 6 more areas. I was targeting a few Side tracked caches, which probably wasn't a very good idea as it was peak travel time when I started. I mostly had success, but found it quite interesting how much I depend on knowing a cacher and method and types of hides. Of course down here I don't have that knowledge and at times I found it quite difficult to find the supposelying easy caches. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches that add so much to our game. All found caches were signed and replaced where found.
19:53Planting along the Werribee River in Bacchus Marsh was fun, but I still felt like some more caching, so n0w0rries dropped me off at Gardiner Station to pick up the next sequential Adlab point I needed along the creek.Well, Hedgely Dene isn't all that far away, so up the hill I went, to complete the Adventure there in the dark. And discover the green dot hidden beneath all the markers for that. This cache, of course. Thanks, Deepsky24. That completed my circuit of the ornamental lake perfectly.By the time I walked onto the platform at Darling, I'd managed another five kilometres of exercise. That's enough for the day, I think... apart from the klick through the cemetery to get home, of course.#8984
Took me longer to find than I care to admit but perseverance paid off. Hope I didnt do any damage to the undergrowth as I fumbled around. Nice one. Log was clean and dry. TFTC
Tftc quite a bit tricky took around 10 minutes and even got a fright from a spiderFind 120Date 11th June 2024
A new cache that is labelled accordingly is in place with a new log inside. Hopefully this stays dry. A slightly different hiding place, the same ground zero so will be less than a metre away.
----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE NEEDED?** ###----------Thanks for the advice (23-April-2024), but it's now been over 5 weeks and the cache still seems to have a moisture problem. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook. Unfortunately, there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log for this cache, which leads one to the contention that the cache container is not weatherproof. If left as is the log may well be subject to fungus growth.I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary to make the cache weatherproof. Please respond to this situation by **16th June** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved. **And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.
Oops, nearly forgot to post the maintenance performed. I have replaced the container here, however the log book could also use replacing as it is damp and not in tact but I do not have a replacement for it for now but it is okay for the time being.
Beautiful day for wandering around here during AL.Interesting history here.Found it afterward.TFTH
Two Spanish teams are in Melbourne for work and we take advantage of the small moments to sign some cache. The cache appears in perfect condition. Thanks to the owner for this cache.
We are two Spaniards who are in Melbourne for work. Little by little we are signing some cache that we have nearby. The cache appears quickly and in perfect coordinates. Thanks for hiding and greetings from Bilbao (Spain)
A quick visit after work to grab this cache (the AdLab can wait for another day). Took a few goes to pinpoint GZ under tha canopy cover, then found in a good hiding spot. TFTC
TFTC - In the area with HeliKelli and located the cache as post of the leap year challenge.
Needed a cache to complete the Leap Day Challenge and this beautiful location in the middle of suburbia there was a treasure to be found. Kploz and I had brunch nearby and headed over for a stroll around the lake. It took us a little while to locate the cache but we soon had the logbook in hand to place our names. It was too nice of a day to head home straight away so we completely the AdLab that was also in this area.
I was here for the AdLab and happy days because a cache was nearby. I felt a bit awks tromping through the garden bed, and after a few quick entries and exits (and maybe a sneaky look at some pics), I found the cache. Nice hide, and hopefully people are careful around these fantastic gardens. I took a photo cos I had no pen.The cache is all good and no problems can be found. Thanks!
Couldnt find it looked everywhere but no luck we were stuck to a bush which the nav told us to go to sad but will try again ):
Gorgeous gardens and a nice easy find, which is what I needed while waiting for my mum to have a procedure at the nearby hospital.
Out and about today as I head up to Fairfield boathouse for lunch today. Not sure how much time I will have free to be able to do some caching in the area I decided to go out and pick up a find before I get to lunch. Arriving that this quaint little park and moving around quickly on foot I was at GZ before I knew it. Questioning how I accessed GZ I found the right access point and the hide was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache and for bringing me to these beautiful gardens.
What lovely gardens, Ive never been here before.Detour before lunch with fellow cachers. met up with phetlern whilst here. Thanks for the cache Deepsky24
Found with Moonb1. We met Phetlern while here and we were doing the Ad Labs while they were finding the cache.
23:40What a lovely place to soak up the peaceful atmosphere and stretch our legs after a rather congested drive from Geelong. Thanks to Deepsky24 for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36231
T4TC , I was here after AL, fortunately I switched app & realised there is a cache back here. Thanks CO for placing. Thanks for the hint, it helps. Greetings from Singapore
Last time I was here, Optus had their outage and so a 50 minute drive (I made a 6am due to having jet lag) ended in no finds. This time I came by train on a day with reception but even so, it was nearly a DNF. My phone said 11m out from where I eventually found the prize, and as others have said, I wasn't too keen to trample off the paths.
Just knocked off from work & dropped past to get this one on this hot day Beautiful gardens Thanks for this one
Thanks to Deepsky for bringing me to these beautiful gardens. A great day for a stroll, an AL, and a cache to complete in an unfamiliar area. Plus some muggles watching my searches.
Found by Mary and David at 11:35. We came here to do the Ad Lab and couldn't resist this one. These gardens are wonderful, despite some drizzle. Don't often get to this side of the CBD as the traffic is not our friend. Our thanks to Deepsky24.
What beautiful gardens these are and a perfect day to walk under trees in the drizzle. Bit funny about scouring through garden beds , but luckily no one around. Thanks Deepsky24 for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. Happy trails, Deanside
I was here last year some time with some friends but for some reason, hadn't logged the find. Made it quick and easy to locate the cache although I still felt awkward retrieving it. Thanks for the cache and bringing me back to this lovely parkland.
TFTC took a bit of looking. Don’t like walking around within the garden of nice parks like this but got it!
After dinner and some late night caching it was time to head home. I spotted the nearby lab and given the evening was a little milder than expected I figured a quick walk wouldn’t be a bad thing. It was late enough that my search would span over to the next day…. Winning!
As I wandered around I stopped to look for this one. Searching in the dark was not a wise move and the GPS certainly wanted to bounce around a little.
I eventually zeroed in on an area and bingo! Cache was in hand and the log signed.
Thanks Deepsky24 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Quickly grabbed this trad while doing an adlab around the gardens. Hidden away nicely. TFTC
A lovely day for a bike ride, so I completed a series of AdLabs on the bike trails around Glen Iris and Alamein. Collected some other caches on the way around.
Some lovely gardens. Fortunately I could approach GZ from a back path, as the gardens were a bit busy today.
Thanks, Robmc.

Suscoe headed out early today for our homeward bound leg of this three day trip to Melbourne.
We were up very early this morning and were greeted by some fog and chilly temperatures. As the day progressed we had delightful sunshine and the temperature even warmed up enough to be in short sleeves in the afternoon.
What a day!!!!!
Thanks to Deepsky24 for this cache.
These are lovely gardens and a few people were out enjoying the sun and mild temperatures.

The weather and the tree cover made this a challenge to get the right direction but was able to finally settle on the likely spot and there it was. Thanks Deepsky24 for the cache.Found at 10:45 am on 7/5/2023. Find # 2691

Navigation was a bit confusing but found it pretty quickly! Nice little addition to the park.

This was our 79th LGa for Victoria. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

In the area for sport and I thought I would collect a few more geocaches in the Stonnington LGA for a challenge I am working on.
I saw the CO's name for this one and just had to visit. It's been too long since we both had a FTF race down on the Mornington Peninsula.
This was just a lovely garden to walk around in. So much so, that even after I found the geocache, I spent another 10 minutes just enjoying the area.
Thanks for the cache Deep Sky 24

Found it eventually, very well hidden. The clue helped us find the cache and loved the scenery.
I had been in Camberwell for an appointment and afterwards ventured further south to find caches in the *Stonnington LGA* for a couple of challenges that I am working on. These wonderful gardens were my first stop. The cache I found eventually as it was a lot further from the path than I expected.
Thanks **Deepsky24** for the cache and bringing us to these gardens.

Out for a walk and picnic with leancal and wanted to do some caching. We chose the adventure lab around this park and grabbed this traditional one as well. The gps was spot on for this one. Great little oasis in suburbia!
We were out for a bit of post surgery exercise and also trying to grab some caches at the time.
We were doing an Adventure Lab here and as this one was close decided to try our luck.
We did search for quite awhile with no luck so read a few previous logs. One gave us a good clue and when the coast was clear we ventured off toward GZ.
We looked in one obvious location but no luck so we trusted the GPS and once close to GZ Diane had the cache in hand and we have added out name to the log.
Many thanks Deepsky24 for showing us these fantastic gardens.

We were in the area and decided to seek this one out. We searched for ages before we finally ventured further in and saw an object that looked much more likely.
Afterwards, we had a wander around and really enjoyed this park which we never would have discovered without geocaching.
Thanks Deepsky24 for showing us this place.
Chiefton!!!

Lovely early walk around gardens and also completed adlab. Been years since I came here, thanks for the memories!
Seemed silly not to look for this one after I did the nearby Ad Lab. Phone GPS didn't like all the trees so I restored to geosense experience. Cache wasn't quite hidden so restored the camo. Beautiful gardens! TFTC
We found this cache today on our Mainly Multis and Labs Encircling Ashburton Afternoon. These are one of my favourite gardens to geocache in. Glad to keep coming back here and this is our 8th geocache find in this park over 19 years geocaching. Thanks from D & H B-A
