Big thanks to tassietan for placing this cache! Your effort brought an extra spark of excitement to our geocaching quest. This discovery was find number 1368 for us, marking another awesome moment in our adventures. Living and traveling full-time across Australia in our Toyota Coaster, we're always on the lookout for caches to uncover. To see more of our travels, feel free to follow our journey here https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth
Today we headed out to Murdanna and Sommers Beach for a day of walking and caching. We were blessed with the most glorious weather which certainly helped our spirits as we are both recovering from a cold.We had a splendid day out finding 15 or so caches and walking about 10km this is our favourite style of caching lots of walks and great caches. Luckily I have a lot of FP in the bank as there were lots of great hides today. Many thanks to all the CO for feeding our addicton .This one took a while to locate as someone has hurled a load of garden waste over GZ. Once we had a different vantage point husband spotted the likely hide. TFTC
We decided today would be the perfect day for a drive down to the peninsula and we sure enjoyed the area. Thanks for setting up your fine geocache!
A lovely spot and the cache was quickly found with the clue. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Tried this one before the other 2 to no avail, but decided to give it another crack before I left.
So glad I did. I had this in my hands the first time but clearly didn't look hard enough.
2nd time lucky! TFTC

Caching around Tasmania. TFTC.
A very nice clever hide. No time to do all of this series but great what I got to do.

We decided that we better get around to finding some caches before the end of the month and we haven’t been down this way for awhile so there seems to be plenty of caches for us to pick up!
Wow, what a great hide. Wasn’t sure where the gps was taking us but the coords were good and we soon had the clever container in our hands.
A favourite point. TFTC

Today we decided to tackle the caches in the Tasman Peninsula that have been published since our last visit and this was one of them.
An interesting walk along the trail, collecting information for the puzzle. Cache and contents were in good condition and adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We have actually tied up to this jetty, and have friends who played a role in its creation. The Murdunna community should be congratulated on building such a great resource.
A little bit of searching, firstly getting distracted by some decoys, before we finally had the cache in hand.
This is a top notch cache, one of tassietan's excellent creations. Deserves a favourite point.

Doing a maintenance walk today to check on a few of the caches on this trail. Stunning morning with no wind. Grahams jetty was busy with watercraft. All good with cache.
There were a few items which matched the hint within a short distance of GZ. The cache was quickly located in one of these items. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks tassietan for the cache.
Had to get this cache on the return as Muggles out on the jetty. Great walk with the Grandkids TFTC

Mrs W thought she would head to Dodges Ferry and around to Dunalley to find a few caches as the forecast wasn't promising but instead the sun shone (only momentarily) and she headed to Dunalley and then onto Murdunna. The lure of caches to find meant she pushed on but the weather was awful. They say you see all 4 seasons in one day in Tassie, but today it was just the "Arctic Blast". You could have surfed into King George Sound! All the caches found today were wonderful creations and found with very accurate coordinates. It was a "tassietan" day of finding creative hides. Thanks for the fun, not the hypothermia! Rugging up Mrs W kept going and added another 2 layers of warmth. A clever hide, deserves a favourite. TFTC
Bit tricky as at first we were looking in the wrong spot, yet another creative cache.
Just happened to look in the right direction and saw an object that matched the clue , investigated and was rewarded with the cache . All's good at gz , another favorite point Thanks Tassietan
we got down to Murdunna to start caching about 2ish but made a right meal of the first multi we looked at so we headed off to do some other in the series and after a couple of stuff ups on our part we found all bar two so we headed back to the multi while it was still light and after a bit of help we searched in new places and we at long last got it! After that it was just one more on the way home and we had them all in the bag for the day!
What a great series of caches, thank you so much.
This weekend started the same as last week with the sound of rain on the roof, but this week it wasn't of biblical proportions so myself, goose and budgie met up to first thing to hide a cache each if we could find the correct spots, after that budgie had a better offer so goose and I headed down to Murdunna (after getting lunch at Dunalley) to search for what turned out to be a fabulous series of caches.
Thanks for the cache.

We drove along and parked here, just add that to our list of rookie errors we made today . Anyway we found a few things that matched the hint, then some more but no cache. I then spotted something else and BINGO, third time lucky!
All the caches were well well made but this one stuck out, adding a fav point.
Thanks tassietan

What a cool cache! I was looking here then there then i became hands on and the sweet hide was found [^] 'Ferric Oxide Fingers' were wiped on my pants then on what grass there was around ha ha It is not a nice thing to get on your hands but today was an exception coz there was a Cache involved
Sat myself down on a nearby rock to sign the log at 11:17 on Thursday 21 April 2022.
Re-hid the cache as found in it's exact spot. With the smell of Fe2O3 still on my fingers i was off to the next hide along this intriguing and interesting walk.

Congratulations on your FTF Dowser24. Sounds like you just pipped some other cachers to the post!
Out and about caching for the Easter holidays and this was On the list, TFTC TNLN log dry, a clever cache that just went far enough. A pleasant day for caching.
A new cache published in time for the Easter break. A nice place to stop and stretch our legs. A chance encounter with rld and lilrafa. Lovely to put a face to the usernames! Hope to get a few more over the long weekend!
