Found with orth71 on a sunday morning after walking along the river. Needed a drink and found a cache.

Just attempting to clean up these today as I’m chasing the 5/2 DT rating of the final. Not sure how i’ll go with the light but there shouldnmt be as many things to trip over in the long grass around Annandale

Today we said goodbye to our Townsville geocaching Uber support Bill and Di Morgan, who have been kind enough to drive us around Townsville during the MEga and beyond. They are heading slowly south, while we wait to get the car fixed at Toyota. Today was out on the bike as our now only mode of transport and we decided that Annadale series of caches and those sprinkled around that area would be a good start, as long as the weather held out. A few passing showers but nothing to get us too wet.

Day 8 of a 3 week holiday driving from Canberra to Townsville and back to attend the Mega. This morning I focused on this series, before heading to the airport to pick up my team mates. Cache easily found. Information collected. TFTC.

My find #1267

In the area after a recent FTF and I thought I would try my luck and collect a few more in this series. I found a few and got some information from those. I found one that was missing a log and a lid but was still able to get info. I could not find two caches. With the info I had I could start to piece together the requirements for the bonus. Given the area that I thought it was in I came back and started a look around. not too many structures or hidey holes so it was a good chance of a find today.

Of the caches I found I signed the logs and replaced as found. Thanks for placing them out and around here.

A number of caches dropped this morning with a few that we had managed to locate. With a huge workday planned I had to get to one early or not at all. I checked with my fellow *FTF* Hounds and found that Diver was close by to my nearest one. Headed down and waited for Chris to do the honours together. It is a group streak after all. Thanks GeokidNQ

With lots of competition in town that close to the Mega the [FTF] hounds split this time to keep the streak alive. BenM70 and I easily found the cache with an empty log. Nice. Thanks for another nice hide with plenty of parking, allowing us to keep the dream alive at now 45 consecutive days.
