Haven’t been out in years. First find for a long time. Thanks for the welcome to Townsville and the neighbourhood
Keen to get out for one cache today to bring up 7 days consecutive and get the souvenir. Had to go to the nearby pharmacy do extending to here wasn’t a big ask.
Park and gran for an easy find, thanks. My first in this series, ironically the last number.

On our day out caching on the Ville we did a quick stop find grab and sign. TFTC.
TFTC I made the find on my way to a meeting this morning. The cache was in great condition. I stamped the log sheet and then replaced it as found
Had to fight the plovers for the find but they were no match for two determined cachers.
TFTC Found by my littlest geo-munchkin AmazingGracieGrace with the hint. SL left SWAG as GC was empty & RAF
Finally completing the rest of this series. A good hide in the typical spot, which should survive well for a long time. Always tricky finding a hide in densely populated areas so well done. Cheers for the cache.
Just attempting to clean up these today as I’m chasing the 5/2 DT rating of the final. Not sure how i’ll go with the light but there shouldn’t be as many things to trip over in the long grass around Annandale
Nice to see another burgo78 bugbear cache all i can say is I’m glad we don’t have LPCs in this country. Signed and replaced

Having chased down many of these caches during our FTF streak, we regretted seeing the last couple drop on the same day, meaning that this one most likely would get smashed and others would get the final. Not that that was too disheartening as we knew that any FTF was up for grabs by all the hounds in town for the Mega. The local boys did really well continuing their own streak under that pressure. In any case the Final was snaffled up prior to us getting there.
I have noted that the final is still disabled. Hopefully That can be replaced shortly so I can complete this little series, which got a good share of visits over the Easter weekends, and i know I was asked to help out with a couple of the tricky tree climbs by some of the more aged cachers.
Thanks GeokidNQ for placing this and thanks in advance for replacing the Final. Have to get another badge for my profile page somehow.

Today we said goodbye to our Townsville geocaching Uber support Bill and Di Morgan, who have been kind enough to drive us around Townsville during the MEga and beyond. They are heading slowly south, while we wait to get the car fixed at Toyota. Today was out on the bike as our now only mode of transport and we decided that Annadale series of caches and those sprinkled around that area would be a good start, as long as the weather held out. A few passing showers but nothing to get us too wet.
Thanks GeokidNQ for the caches.

Day 12 of the road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today all about the caches around town.
We started off near our hotel in Aitkenvale and drove out in ever increasing circles finding a cache as we went. At 1200 it was time to head back to the mega site for the farewell event and BBQ.
We arrived a GZ and started our search. It wasn't long and the cache was in hand and the log signed.
Thanks for the cache...made our Easter Sunday morning

#14136; Day twelve of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. Spent the morning collecting caches close to our accommodation then working our way towards the racecourse for the Farewell event. Plenty of opportunities to deploy one of the ToTTs in our toolkit, which certainly earned its keep this morning as we worked our way through the "Townsville 2022" trail. Managed to retrieve sign and replace all of the caches on our morning mission, with logs signed L.L10n & Sdl or vice versa. TFTC GeokidNQ
Another where the GPS wasn’t required.
Thanks GeokidNQ for creating and placing this for us to enjoy. That’s the series done. Cheers

This was the 13th of 21 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***GeokidNQ*** for showing us this place

Saw the cache pop up and ditched the thought of lunch to see if we could get a Townsville FTF! A nice blank log book greeted is on arrival. Yay!! *FTF*
*FTF*
Joint *FTF* with escr, ardom and JACS Team.
I had just climbed fear factor 5 and scoped out the other climbs in the area when I noticed a couple of new caches in the area. I mentioned it to my buddies and we were off to grab them.
We arrived at GZ and the anticipation as we opened the container. YES….. the opened container revealed a blank log. I was sooo happy to get this one a FTF in another town, oh yeah. We all signed the log and then returned the cache as found. Thank you for placing this one here.
Oh hang on I just noticed this is part of a series that has already come out. Maybe I could grab a few more caches while I was here in the area. And so the hunt began.

FTF with Chamad, JACS Team and ESCR (and no-one else). Were just leaving the area when this popped up on the radar. Arrived to a nice clean log book and signed - just like a FTF should be...
[FTF] still showing as FTF so logging it after a massive detour on my bike to get here.
So excited to be attending my second MEGA and to fly
to a destination for fun! And return to the tropics in an equally long time
Great to meet new faces and to spend caching time with some familiar cachers as well.Find #5395
A few days ahead to explore this beautiful hot city. So much caching on offer, and apologies for the generic log.
