Out for a mid morning run .. kakesnz told me about this amazing tree and cache nearby so I thought I'd come take a look. A couple of yrs back I found a cache abison very close by here. Incredible tree. So magicalDown in whiti for an extended weekend with friends enduldging in our crafting hobby .
In Whitianga with a group of friends. Weather was good so took the opportunity for a walk. Enjoyed viewing all the fairy houses in the very cool tree. Took longer than it should have to find the cache but got there in the end. TFTC
Today is day nine of our Coromandel trip. We stayed four nights in Whitianga and are spending the next two nights in Tairua. So far we have stayed in Wellington, Taupo, Cambridge and Whitianga. JD found it. He likes to say, " see dear you have to stick with the experienced" ,
Found it! Luckily some people just moved after we got there. Great spot, lovely day tftc
Hey G-2. Nice to see you still operating. Thanks. Always nice to have a gimme type drive by.
Picked up a couple of caches in Whitianga at the end of today before and after buying fish n chips to eat at the beach. Great summers day although the wind had started to pick up. The cache was a quick find. #7041. TFTC.
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
Heading back home so parked up by the beach and walked across to find the cache. The wind almost blew us away. We did get funny looks from a family who were leaving the beach.
Finally remembered to bring a pen with me on my walk pass this time. Thanks for placing this cache and a reason to enjoy the tree.
Staying at the local NZMCA park in our Motorhome. Beaut day for a bike ride.
Cheers

Number 2 for today. Walked along the beach to get here in the cool clear water... if I can't be in there diving, I can at least get in the ocean a little bit
This one was a very quick find and all in great condition. I love the fairy houses in the tree next to it! Thanks for placing it here so I got to see those.

Camped in town for the night at the fabulous NZMCA camp. Had some spare time this visit to grab a few local caches.
Bison are everywhere these days, they try to hide but we’re onto them.
No problem with the find for this one TFTC.

In the evening a short walk to the sea. Here we rested briefly and off to the beach.
Beautiful views of the beach along here, especially with the tide in. Decided to go for a swim before taking a seat and finding the cache while I dried off a bit, TFTC
We’re currently staying at Tairua and came up to Whitianga for the day. Nice quick find here, TFTC
The area is roped off while some restoration work is taking place. I found I could access GZ from the beach without interfering with any of the works. Left the way I went in. A nice quick find. TFTC
Out for an early morning walk to watch the sunrise. The grass has been ploughed up in the area near the picnic table - fortunately the mud was dry enough to walk on though. Quick find here and we stopped to admire the views before continuing on. TFTC
Back to the sea... what a shame as you're missing the view! TFTC. Love this area - it's where I grew up and my overseas find #2.
Came originally last night to have a look, but soon gave up when something dodgey going on. Back today to grab cache. Gorgeous views. TFTC
Came here last night but something dodgy was going on so came back this morning. Use to bring our kids here. Lovely views. Tftc
Spotted this lonely {FTF} as I was passing by to get the GeoTour cache.
Couldn’t believe it’s been 5 days since it was published!
Good to grab an FTF, as it’s nearly impossibly in Auckland.
Thanks G2!

Second to find by only a couple of hours. Surprised it was not found in such an open and accessible location. TFTC
Disappointed we missed out of FTF by a few hours. Thanks for the hide and the beautiful spot to visit.

Dang dang dang missed out by a few hours due to Simpsons beach being closed due to flooding. Returned later in the arvo to find it had been found twice earlier in the day. Oh well, better luck next time. Found with Reny90
