After another of incorrect tries called a friend for help then managed to sort the co ordinates tftmc. Cache all good here
Back in Motueka today and another fun cabinet art cache. Nice quick solve and an easy find, all good here, cheers
Gk told me he had to go to Motueka to get some supplies from ITM. Well that is a shame I thought to myself as we needed a multi and a mystery today for a couple of challenges we are chipping away at in Christchurch. And I know that we have some unfound multis and mysteries in Motueka. This was a nice quick easy find as the coordinates were spot on.Thanks for placing this multi and thank you for the smiley
Found ithad previously stopped here to do the math. Today is the day I needed to log it.TFTC#1038
I did the projection yesterday morning, but I wasn't confident about the results. I double-checked them last night and decided to tackle the finding of it this morning before we head out on more adventures. Found after checking a couple of places. Tftc
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are out and about around Motueka today. A lovely day for a drive and a bit of a wander.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Found with NZDi. I had solved this one on a previous visit, but when I showed up at GZ to claim the prize, it was muggle central. Today with NZDi there was no-one around, but we still felt rather exposed.TFTC Sidewaze
Out with busy paws having a fun day caching. Love these multiuser. Thanks for the multi and cache Sidewaze.
Just a couple of looks then a feel and in hand! Wee dog was a bit worried. Found with coconuts3. Nice easy multi. Thanks
I love seeing the art work on the CCA boxes and especially this art work. I had completed finding the similar series in Blenheim in June, so when I saw this cache and one other, it was on my list to find. Thankfully the guys agreed. We found the other cache before dinner; with stomachs now full and minds rested, this was the first cache for the after dinner caching session. Favourite given for showing us the artwork.Day 2 of The Wellingtonians are back tour with TwigNZ, YetiNZ, Mr-Mcgoo. After the last trip, with more caches for us to find, we decided we had to return. And, of course, there will be days of laughter, usually at my expense During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Sidewaze.
(# 8181) On a caching trip to the Nelson/Golden Bay area for a repeat trip for the four amigos. Day two of this trip took us from Takaka over the hill to Kaiteriteri, through Motueka and back to Nelson. Tripping with NZ_B, TwigNZ and YetiNZ. Another day full of hilarity with nobody being spared being the butt of the jokes. Signed the log with NMTY. Thanks Sidewaze for bringing me here.
Back in June, four Wellingtonians (NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ and YetiNZ) came down to visit the Nelson region. We had such a blast that we decided to do it again, and here we are!During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find, which certainly applied to this cache.Day 2, and having spent 1 night in Takaka we are driving back down to Nelson via Kaiteriteri and Motueka and various stops along the way. By now we had had our dinner in Motueka and were now just grabbing some numbers before heading down to our accommodation in Nelson.Having no problems making the projection, this was a straightforward park n grab at the final location, even by torchlight. We were soon back on our way again .Thank you for setting this one up.
Some time ago a group of us from Wellington decided that what we should do is come down to the Nelson region for a long weekend of Geocaching. So we did. We had such a good time that just a few months later we decided to do it again. The same team to the same location, with the same agenda. The only real goal for this four day break is exploring, having fun, and finding more of the unfound geocaches in the area.
Day two of this trip took us from the labyrinth rocks of Tākaka over the hill to Kaiteriteri, through Motueka and back to Nelson. We stopped at many caches along the way, and this was one of them.
Most of our finds here we signed the log with the collective name of N.M.T.Y to represent the four of us: NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ, and YetiNZ.

Thanks to Sidewaze for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.

It's been a bit of a rough caching day for him, 2 DNF's which he struggled with as one of them involved a lengthy walk. It was a stunning day though, so I was happy to be out & about + we shared the most delicious Falafel platter at Toad Hall for lunch So yummy!!
A few randoms lurking around at this spot, but eventually we found the opportunity to grab it!

With two DNFs that soaked up most of our day, and unable to search for another cache we had solved because of muggles, it was time to dip into the pool of previously solved caches to get something from our trip here. Apart from good food, that is.
This was closest to Toad Hall, so we went for a look. Quick find after waiting out some randoms who wandered down here then went away just as quick. And the dude mowing his lawn. Been one of those days. TFTC Sidewaze.

We decided on a day trip to Motueka to find numerous caches which have been published since our last trip over there. After having to abort attempts to find several it reminded us why we usually make a Motueka caching trip in the evenings.
It was completely dark by the time we arrived here so thankfully a clear hint meant a quick find in the drizzle.
Thank you Sidewaze.

New placements kept on accumulating and against better judgement we decided to finally make a Mot run. Not that we hate going to Mot, to the contrary. However, it being muggle central after hours is the preferred option. Most finds in Mot are "night caches" and helped greatly in achieving our DGSc. We have no complaints
Half a post is definitely a post. I'm on a first name basis with many of them. The hint was helpful to make the find as by now it was pitch dark and we had only one torch. Thank you Sidewaze

I always enjoy caching in and around Motueka. This morning was no different, and with quite a few new Multis, A.L's, and Puzzles to look for it was quite a productive couple of hours. TFTC
Roaming around Nelson / Tasman for a few days; I’ve just driven over to Motueka & was keen to find this solved Multi.
Thanks for this cache, Sidewaze. I saw a few of these CCA in Blenheim a couple of weeks ago. Impressive !

We are staying in Nelson for Labour Weekend but today is set aside to head up to Kaiteriteri, as we havent been there since 2015 we had a full day planned. Just a few in Mot before we continued on. A very quick find here. The box is very well done and I especially like how we had to drive passed it to get a look of it in person. Have a fav. Thanks for placing this cache and adding to our smilies.
Sometimes muggles just take ages to move off. Pulled up at GZ to make the find here but there was a vehicle coming from the business nearby so we sat in the car and waited, and waited, and waited. First he stopped to shut the gates and that took ages, then he hopped in his vehicle, then hopped out again and started whacking mud off his boots, finally put his stick away and then he wandered over to the fence. Just as I was thinking we might have to flag this and come back later he finally jumped back in his vehicle and drove off, after which we made a nice quick find. tftc

I'd completed the projection when this was first published but saved it for a day I wanted a multi - today as it turns out. The end result is that, although I was on the look out for it, I have totally missed spotting the artwork itself. TFTC # 18,572
This wet week has given me the time to mess around with google earth measuring distances and estimating angles to the most likely spot. The hint matched up perfectly with my guess, and the log was soon in hand. Thanks very much!
Just one for the day after a late start and a long drive. The neighbours' dog was very excited about new blood and kept barking at the entire street. I hope we did not give away too much! TFTC!!
After freeing Signal from the Forest Labyrinth, my attention turned to a couple of challenges that I don't yet qualify for. This find fills in a multi dot day and goes towards a challenge that I hope to finish by the end of June 2022.
A pleasant morning for a drive to Motuweka and back. I'd already projected the projection so headed straight for the cache location. Cache found as per the hint in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.

The caches in Motueka were split into those on the left as we drove in and those that would be on the left as we drove out. The meaning of the hint was clear when we got to GZ and the cache in the first place checked without needing a recheck this time. There are some CCA in Nelson but we suspect they are surrounded by caches already.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Paddle chick and I were heading to the Cito and we grabbed multi on the way .Tftc Sidewaze
Solved at home and made a quick find this morning on our way to the CITO at Little Kaiterteri. Thanks Sidewaze

Tregearp and I solved all four of the recent jigsaw puzzles on the day they were published, but we were heading out of town so its only now we've had the opportunity to swing by for 4/4 quick finds with all in excellent conditions. Thanks Sidewaze for the enjoyable jigsaw puzzles and four smilies.
Sunday jigsaw puzzling has been the trend of late but as both SJT_NZ and I don't chase FTF's and were heading south the next day we left these for our return. Today a nice afternoon explore, thanks Sidewaze for the fun puzzles.
Found with Ulmuslynx on this beautiful morning
GPs led us straight to the cache Thank you for the cache

Out for a drive around Mot, with Agazo collecting all the new hides.
We thought that there might have been more CCA caches out by now or did Mot only have one painted so far? We did see a lot of unpainted ones. A quick find for Agazo. TFTC

Out caching with Marchwood today. We were hoping there would be more of these, maybe published as we made our way over. We learned that there is more than one to cut the hint item in half. TFTC.
Ftf. I was sure this would have been found before we got here, but a surprise to find a blank log. Quick find. TFTC
Stretch0 saw this one pop up last night and with some muttering came up with a likely looking answer - took the risk that others might be too busy to wait to grab it this morning - calculations where right and cache was soon in hand with a blank log log signed thanks for the cache
