Saw the previous DNF and was about to give up but thought I'd try a little harder. Glad I did because soon found it.
Thanks Emilia
Thanks Emilia

With a unexpected change in plans for today, I contacted Rebel Acts to see if he was available for some short notice caching enjoyment.
The day was long but certainly filled with much laughter and caching stories.
Cheers for the cache

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. Today we had unfinished business back in Williamstown and Altona.
This is one of the caches found today. Took a little bit of scratching around to locate this one.
Thanks Em1croc for the cache.

I assume the hint is alluding to bark, but there’s lots of it in the area. Not much to go off otherwise, and there’s currently lots of rubbish in the area which makes things harder
It was such a glorious day that I decided to take a 'Willy diversion' while on the way home and that brought this one into consideration. Although GZ wasn't too muggly, there were enough people enjoying the sunshine nearby so I had a squiz at the hint and that soon had me signing the log at 12:25. Nice camo.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Emilia.

We always enjoy a day by the water and today was no different. Searching here was like a breath of fresh air after the challenge of the pier! As often happens we searched "everywhere" and went back to where we started to find a very clever little cache.
Thanks to Em1croc for adding this interesting cache to the gameboard.

Wow this took us longer than we expected. Nearly gave up but one last sweep and it showed it’s face!
Thanks for the hunt!
Found after about 5 mins. Made friends with the snails, made enemy's with others. Got jumpscared by the toy in the cache lol
With the publication of some new Whittlesea challenge caches I now have to find a lot of different things on certain days so I headed over here and met up with Fleabag since he was in the area anyway.
I was glad I had me geokid with me today because they found it quite quickly while I was looking in all the wrong places. The rain and wind then started again so we decided to head back home.
Thanks Em1croc for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

This could have been a bit of a nightmare given a sunny day. Thankfully there was nary a muggle about as the wind blew and rain kept coming down which made finding the cache all the quicker.
Turned this one up after a DNF earlier in the year. Those cool water swimmers doing their thing across the way. TFTC
Bunch of dudes chopping down trees and planting new ones. Might want to do a maintenance check. They have blocked a whole section of trees off. I’m gonna come back.
Thank you for letting me know, I’ll have to have a look when I get back home. May still be there but will disable till I can have a look
I found this cache on my Newport by Train and Bus Geocaching Day. With 20 minutes between trains to Williamstown from Williamstown Beach, I was hoping that I had enough time to locate the Lab cache there, walk down for this cache and get back to catch the next one. It took 21 minutes and I saw the train go past as I was getting back so I decided that rather than wait another 20 minutes, I would call it a day and hop on the train towards home instead. Thanks from D B-A.
Got to GZ and had to avoid the muggles, Fortunately the cache was not to hard to find.
With a day off today, I went right from one end of the green line to the other with a caching trip in Williamstown I'd been thinking about for a long time but never actually acted upon until today.
The weather was downright miserable the entire time and I seemed determined to wreck my already pretty beaten shoes with all the walking through surfaces of varying consistencies!
Still, the intermittent rain did a good job of scaring away the muggles and I managed to get some caches I suspect would've been significantly more difficult on a nice day.
This was my first find of the day after alighting at Williamstown Beach station and squelching through the park over to gz.
I was lucky to not have too many muggles around, and none particularly close to where I was searching.
Also fortunate was the fact that I spotted the cache rather quickly!
It wasn't quite flush in its hiding spot which revealed the container a bit more than intended, though the camo job is pretty nice and I made sure to return it more neatly.
I decided to celebrate my success with a hot chocolate over at the nearby cafe where it seems all of the muggles had escaped to!
Thanks to Em1croc for placing this one here!

Out and about today to attend a couple of events and pick up some caches on International Geocaching Day
Thanks Emilia. No swimming today

Thanks to Emilia for this hide.
All quiet here today and we spotted the hide soon after arriving.
The log was signed in the sunshine.
What a wonderful day.

Visited friends in Willy today and went for a walk in the drizzle to take in the offseason sights - footy and lacrosse and young people listening to Radiohead in a picnic shelter. When our water resistant coats stopped resisting the water we headed home, but not before making a quick find here. Thanks Emilia for the nice camo here
Also some-one had buried it, so please make sure to not bury it as it is against the rules.

A quick find in the logical place for this geocache and stroll this afternoon.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today.

I had to work today and after finishing our first job we found out that the arvo shift was working so an early day for me.
So what do you do on a cold and miserable Melbourne day Geocaching of course.
So after finishing of the new ones in Altona it was time to find a few in Williamstown that have recently appeared.
You look at your map and just when you think you have done most of the caches a few new one turn up.
I had to wait out a few muggles that were playing right near GZ and then I soon spotted the camo and added my name to the log.
Thanks Emilia TFTC.
Big things are continuing to happen! Are you joining the fun again in 2022?

Looks like this one has gone missing, pretty sure someone threw it away while cutting the hedges. making a new container now.
Found by Mary and David at 16:05. Ages since we have been around here. Enjoyed the spot. The shrubs are being impacted though. Our thanks to Emilia_rossiiiii.
As I approached the indicated area I didn’t like my chances, but a bit of light frisking and I hit it, thankfully. One feels quite exposed there. T4TC
The cache is still there just went to check on it! The cache is camouflage so look hard
We looked and looked, nothing for us to find here - another cacher even turned up and he couldn't find anything. The area is also getting a little worn, not sure about this one - hopefully the garden bed holds up. I'll be back when I'm sure it's here.

I was around the Newport/ Williamstown area doing some adventure labs and I noticed that this new cache had popped up. It could not be left unfound. Great spot for a cache.

I'm moving it to a better place because I think it will get muggled and it needs some rain protection.

Well looks like we weren't too far behind FTF (not that we were aiming for it though!) Injured myself on Sunday so we have been cooped up and decided to go somewhere close. Just so happens this area is the closest to us with a few caches we have yet to get. But curious as to why we hadn't gotten this one when we were so close by before I saw the date published, then the date of the FTF which made Mr H a little sad! Either way it was a quick find but well hidden cache!
I was surprised to see that this cache hadn't been found when I came back from Beechworth.
Not really a day for swimming although there was one doing laps way out.
It is a busy spot, so I went down early in the morning, before the mini-muggles occupied the playground.
There were still quite a few coffee drinking walkers around, so I took a while before I could have a search.
The camo is starting to fall off a bit so it might need some more attention.

Thanks, Robmc.
