Found by Mary and David at 08:45. After getting the Sunday Paper at the Kulin IGA, we're heading to Yeerakine Rock to check out the wildflowers (and find a cache). Wonderful memories of Kulin. Our thanks to burns345.
A quick find for us here today! On our way to try to find a cache that alluded us last time! TFTC Burns345
Out for a weekend in the Wheatbelt with a few like minded people. Our originals plans had to change though due to closed roads from some unfriendly weather. We ended up staying at Mcann Rock near Hyden for the two nights.Teamed up with geotrakka, MCFonz and neva2old today in two cars for some caching fun. No DNF's and a couple of dozen finds made for an enjoyable affair. Another quick find here.burns345 I found your cache at 5:02pm, this was the 23rd of 24 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8761. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC
Out on a trip in the wheat belt with a bunch of like-minded people. unfortunately our initial plans werent to come off.Met up with everyone and set about making a bunch of finds. Thanks to all the COs.CheersMCFonz
Day 2 of camp - roads still closed to Thiel so stayed the night in Mcann Rock. Aurora Australis was spotted last night - absolutely beautiful. Todays plan is to hit some caches in the area and head back to camp. Traveling with Granett, Neva2old and McFonz. Many thanks burns345 for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures.
Road trip with some other diehard Geocachers into the wheat belt hoping to claim some smilies along the way. There sure has been a fair bit of rain. Quite a bit of water laying around. Some logs signed as N20 This is my 13622 find Thankyou burns345for placing and maintaining this cache for others to find .
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 27 - Kulin Day. I spent a full in and around Kulin as there was so much more to see and do. In the morning I headed back East and finished of the Tin Horse trail in that direction, much easier being on the correct side of the road without the van. I then ventured back into town to do the Labs and have morning tea. As I had accidentally hit the day the Butler Museum was open, I had a great hour with a very informative guide looking over some of the equipment onsite, both restored and not. Don't mention the sheep trade.... After that I went to the Northwest to the second Tin Horse trail. Not as much art, but some still very impressive pieces and plenty of caches. The afternoon was spent catching up on online duties before heading back into town for dinner at the not a pub 'hub' in the old pub that is really a pub.Nearly every cache today was a simple roadside cache, near in celebration of a Tin horse artwork. The puzzles were all solved before heading west and some were really difficult, and I think there area a few I never got to. Out for a drive today east of Narrogin, racking up some kilometres on the dash. Started off by heading through Boundain to Yilliminning Rock. Then through Tincurrin and Harrismith to get to Jitarning, where I stopped in to say hello to burns345. I was then on my way to Kulin, where I bumped into ebenie out caching. This was a chance and lucky encounter, and very fortunate, because at the cache I bumped into them at, they were unable to start their car. Gave ebenie a lift into Kulin, where I continued the journey through to Corrigin. The final leg of the day was back through Yealering and Wickepin to Narrogin. All in all, a solid day that racked up a few dozen finds.
Quick park and grab here before heading back into town and through to Corrigin. Cheers burns345!
Join me at the 10th anniversary of WAGB in Narrogin on Friday 2 June to Monday 5 June 2023. There’ll be plenty of geocaching fun to be had, I can’t wait to see you there!

Staying in Kulin for a few days and collecting a few smiley's in the surrounding area. Hit the NE corridor today. L-o-t-s of flies and if anyone could find a market for grass seeds, they'd make a fortune. Found this one at 13:33 this afternoon. TNLNSL TFTC burns
A great trip out through the Wheatbelt.
Was able to put a few smileys on the map.

The fifth and final day of our Easter holiday break for TaurusSix and myself. We have had a wonderful time exploring the south east regional interior areas of WA, so much to see and of course much geocaching to be done. We have revised our plans for the day, today , once again around geocaching. Given there is a FTF cache to be had in the Kulin area we are going to head back in that direction and try our luck first thing heading from the Lake Grace area. And anyway there are still lots more caches in that area for us to obtain, so we are happy to head in that direction. Then at some point we will start meandering back to Bunbury again via many roads less travelled.
This is our third cache of the day. And we had our fingers crossed as we located the cache and opened the log that it was still blank. And we are delighted to say it was so we very happily signed it. They are very impressive welcome signs into Kulin perfect for geocaches. TFTC Burns 345 and for giving us another good reason to come back through Kulin.
