A proactive maintenance check was conducted on Saturday 13/1/2024. The cache and logbook were found to be in working order.

Searched for a short while but no luck. If I had more time I mY have had more luck. Nice area.

Set out today to try and get a few caches. 48 finds, 4 DNF and a few DNA (due to size and location) later I am pooped. I finished on the bike track alongside the Tonkin on my e-scooter but quickly ran out of daylight and then my torch gave up. The ground in places was just too boggy to venture in (when I could see). Thank you to all the COs I have visited today.

G’day, I visited this cache on Sunday 28/5/2023 and conducted maintenance.

The following actions were undertaken:

Stayed in the transit park and when visiting the visitors centre thought we would nab a cache tftc

Full time nomads stopping in Toodyay for a while.

After 3 days of 37degrees today was forecast to be a 'cool' 32degrees so we decided to tackle the Julimar caches. We ended up with only 1 DNF for our day and some interesting 4x4 driving that we havent done for a while. Lunch at the Bindoon bakery was a bonus but dodging the oversize loads going North and South on the highway was a bit of a challenge.

Headed out with the MICKS (Meme28, I C Nothing,Cirrus_WA, Kapalua and me SirFancy) crew and Burns345.
We got a lot done and headed to the CITO event then got a few more before lunch, after lunch we jumped in to different peoples FWDs and headed out as a much larger group, there was mud and fun.
Ended the day with good food surrounded by good people.

Day 2 of the IGD Chittering, up at dawn, cuppa made, ready to head off before the events of the day begin, looking forward to alot of fun with loads of new geocachers!

What a gorgeous morning with mist just above the ground turning this already beautiful landscape into a winter wonderland (although it was a little Stephen King-ish!)

Had a fun day finding loads of caches in the area with geo-hubby.

Find 65 of 66 with no DNFs on IGD. On this special day we celebrated our 10000th find just before our 10 year anniversary of starting geocaching, which was a goal we set back at WAGB in June when we had just passed 9000 finds.

Lovely day for geocaching. There is lots of water hanging around from the big storm. TFTC

A big day of caching was planned for today. Machman and I hit the road just after 6:30am, returning home 12hrs later. A full day of caching from Indian Ocean Drive, across to Gingin, Bindoon, parts of Julimar Road then down around Chittering. Over 70 finds and luckily only a handful of DNFs, and 1 FTF!

Out with Spatial Riq on an 12 hour cache run, as part of the International GC day 2022 events, around Bindoon and chittering area. Big day picking up 80 smilies ??on the way.

The first fine day for a while so we decided to head out to start making a dent in the many new caches in the area.

We had been to Karratha to see the grandkids now it was time to take the long way back to the southwest.
Bindoon Transit Park is the last night of our holiday, need to call into Midland Hospital tomorrow for blood tests so here isn't too far away.

Out and about again, a wet day so it was slow going.

Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today

Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Because of a medical appointment the Better Half and I couldn't leave the city until more than an hour after the publication of the new caches but we decided to go for a drive after the appointment anyway.

Cache was found without problems. The log was signed and the cache returned as it was found.

We were taking a drive upto Chittering to place more caches for the event when we arrived in Bullsbrook notifications came through, thinking we would be turning around, we parked up but noticed they were further north so pushed into Bindoon.

Had some trouble with one of the lake caches so left that and the cemetery multi and headed across to Gingin via the backroads. Surprised to see no logs on the lab either we completed the two multis and lab before heading back to Bindoon to claim the cemetery multi and the one lake cache we couldn’t find.

All in all a good days haul and we had time to place our caches for the hounds at the IGD event.
