Found after staying at Green Hill Lake campsite near Arrarat before traveling to our next stop-over at Inverleigh, finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Neville_devil!
Out with the youngest monster to try to avenge the DNF from the last time we were here. Followed the geotrail in and made an immediate find this time round!! TFTC!!
I checked on this today. All is good now. Cache had some minor cache creep but is back in the correct location now.
Nope, no luck by either of us (Mrs B & I) despite a good search. Maybe another time when/if we pass by again!
Had a pretty good search at the provided GZ coordinates but it didnt want to be found today.
We are still in the Ballarat region and today we decided to head south to pick up a few of the caches that are either new or that we just have not got to on our many trips to the area. The decision was to head as far south as Cressy as we did not leave the van until 11.30 making it a short day for us. There was only one cache we did not attempt and that was 'How Deep the Woady'. We have looked at this one on previous visit's and both times we have chosen that it was not quite the one for us to do. All in all we had a fun day. SL TFTC

A late afternoon find after dropping off our Grandson we babysat this afternoon back to his parents in Cape Clear.
I eventually found this cache after a widespread search in the last place I looked, which was also in the first place I looked , obviously though not carefully enough. Didn't quite line up with where the GPS and the geocaching map were directing is but in the end the hiding place did make sense.
Thx neville_devil for hiding this one, always enjoy looking at old bridges, this one was no exception, great stonework.

we tackled this treasure at sunsetwe had a lovely day out westscrubbing tombstones and unearthing secretsfinding a few rough old treasures along the waycreaking and decayingthis grand old bridge is starting to show its agewe wonder how many more years of decay until the roadway starts to collapse propereven now, we were only game to tiptoe a short way acrossrotten wood is not renowned for its integrityin the sunset glow, the cache was signed to the rumble of trafficand the slither of a snakewe all decided to go our separate ways
Wonderful location, a spot you would most certainly drive past unless caching. But alas we did not find
Found at 10:16 AM GAFF2
What an interesting bridge which we wondered where the red sandstone was sourced from. Glad that the engineers decided to preserve the original when the new one was built.
I went down the wrong side as I thought that with a D of just 1.5 it was going to be in an easy to spot location after a tricky and slippery - worthy of a T3.0 - trip down. However after checking quite a few possibilities, it was decided to go and search the other side and after again checking a few possibilities I was just about going to pull the pin, when I decided that just one more lunge into a spot that looked way too gnarly - and there it was - the sound of plastic
Thanks Neville_devil.
Feedback: Considering the possible number of hiding spots and the difficulty in getting around and the sometimes lack of GPSr reception - I would think that the Difficulty rating for this cache should be at least 2.5

Thanks for placing this cache it was a nice stretch of our legs retrieving it on a long drive
Thank you Neville_devil for this hide, over the last 40 years we have passed this old bridge many times.
First time ever to stop here, glad we did, it looks different from this angle.
The cache is in great condition.

After camping in Smythesdale overnight, todays adventures include a CITO before heading back to Geelong for our next Whittlesea Lead Up Event, always via a cache or three.
On the way to Geelong I stopped by this bridge cache. The path to the cache was a little slippery but I made it down without incident. I began the search only to discover I was on the wrong side. After a little careful clambering I managed to locate the cache - no surprises I made accessing this one far more difficult than it should have been.
Thanks Neville_devil for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Yes, we're nowhere near Linton yet, but we stopped for a warm up. Of the three "bridge" caches we tackled today, this was the easiest
Thanks heaps, Neville Devil!

On my way to Beaufort for work and decided to leave home earlier to collect a few smiley faces. I've never noticed this bridge on my travels so thanks for bringing me here Neville_devil
Read the DT rating. Thought could be in for trouble in Chelsea boots. Sliding through mud and wet grass.
But tonight a geotrail made things much easier for me. The hide itself was much more trickier. Great to check out this old bridge and the structure underneath. Felt dicey walking across it.
Thanks for the cache in a great spot.

I was heading to Horsham to pick up my Daughters car that was being repaired after she had a run in with a Kangaroo a few weeks ago. This cache was my main target on the journey. Even though the weather was fine the long grass was still wet as I worked my way into GZ. Once there the cache was found quickly. AFter the find I mad my way underneath to check out the water only to bash my head on a cross beam. Ouch!

Heading homeward after a week or so in the great company of Suscoe around Millicent. We couldn'resist a stop for this new cache. It was interesting to read about the bridge as we approached. On reading the three logs and our own thoughts are maybe the terrain could be 3.0. The slippery grass will be an issue all year round.
Thanks Neville_devil for placing caches in interesting locations.

I ventured up to Beaufort for two events via Skipton then continue onto Ballarat with Dromaniax.
The day started in a low mist which continued throughout the day.
This was a must do cache as we made our way north.
A little know bridge with with such rare features hidden away in Victoria. The cache was located after a quick search.
I went for a walk across the bridge which I wouldn’t recommend, as most of the sleepers area soft and rotten. A few are about to fall through.
Log signed and replaced as Found.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Neville Devil

After a very early start to a Sunday morning, Mr Dromaniax and Ausfox; arrived at the first cacher for the day. It had been a pea-soup fog until Bannockburn, but the sun was shining, and the morning was superb.
We pulled off the road and made our way towards GZ.
We were pleased it was a crisp cool morning as the grass was long, but the path was slippery.
We found the cache nice and safe, and dry in superb condition.
After signing duties were completed, Ausfox; decided to make his way to the other side of the bridge. Some of the timbers are a little spongy, and others are not fastened in any way, so he had a few heart-in-the-mouth moments.
Great place for a cache. Thank you for this cache Neville_devil.
