Because of new developments over the fence the trees may of been cut. I’ll check today and try to relocate the cache

The trees have gone. had a look around in the sawdust and grass, but couldn't see anything resembling a cache.

Good to get a yellow smiley. Cache was found on the ground, must have been blow out of its hiding spot. Container is not heavy so easily blown I think. Signed the log and placed back , hopefully it stays there. TFTC.

Pretty easy

It took a wee while to spot this cache, which we found lying on the ground under the trees. The log was wet but usable. Although we couldn't spot a particularly grumpy looking tree, we replaced it in accordance with the hint, with a couple of small stones on top, hopefully to keep it in place. TFTC

It was too beautiful a day on the cusp of Spring not to be out doing some geocaching - so off we set for a bit of a circumlocution of part of Kelvin Grove. Smile

This was our second cache - we nipped across the road from The Tricky Stop.
We're not sure why the tree was grumpy but we felt a bit grumpy after quite a fruitless search following the hint. On the point of giving up we reassessed and simply looked for a good hiding spot and there was the cache - but quite contrary to the hint, unless there is something obscure we've not understood, or perhaps cache creep has occurred. Anyway it was a relief to finally locate the cache. TFTC JoeyGE0 and Oliver Smile

Haven’t came here for ages and cache has been moved over to nearest grave Simone probably thought it belonged to someone else replaced container with previous cachers log Smile

20-Aug-22
Not sure if it’s in correct location. But found Smile

Nah, all good here.
Out here to clean up some headstones so may as well clean up some geocaches as well.
Couldn't find the grave I was here for though.
Log very soggy. Almost too wet to sign so added a RITR log I had in my wallet. All good here now. TFTC

Dnf checked all the possible places it could have been blown out of its spot with all the rain and wind

very nicely made and themed cache container Well done and worth a fav point from me.

I had visited this earlier with no luck and how i missed it i dont know as i am sure i checked in that place, and again it took a while before it was located but there is NO reason for it to take so long that is for sure .

i took nothing and left nothing but thanks.
thank you for this newer cache . Smile

The last time I ventured towards this cache there was a grumpy or bereaved person nearby so I didn't search for it...
Today I spotted a bright hi-vis cyclist loitering at GZ and hoped it would be a happy cacher rather than a grumpy person Yay it was a cacher who had not yet retrieved the cache and I was pleased to be able to spot it in the first place I looked.
We both enjoyed the construction of this one and would add some swag if I had some. ️
Thanks again JoeyGE0!!
Deserves multiple FPs.

Decided to look for this after capperz recent find. A quick find of a nifty wee container. Thanks JoeyGeo.

Wasn't sure what to expect here after the recent DNFs but after a prowl I spotted the container at GL near to GZ. I signed the log and replaced as per hint, it's a nice sized box so should be easily found. Thanks JoeyGEO.

I had no real big targets for the day today. With the recent stormy weather and rainy forecast I'd resigned myself to a soaking if I did venture out (I did!). I had planned to catch up with an old friend today, I met him at his house after a last visit around 9 years ago, and we had a good old chin-wag and catch up. Whilst I was in the area I was keen for a fee finds, and so they ensued, a nice double-figure haul. Thanks to all COs for their hides today.

Did not find. Searched all trees in area high and low. No where to be found

Spent about 10 minutes looking for this one with no luck.
I must be missing something.
Had a plesant walk through the cemetary and my son enjoyed looking at the diggers while I searched.

Easy find, I'm not sure if the cache will last but it's a neat location.

#13,225. Park, walk and grab off James Line in Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. Very nice hide. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

bruzie, barefootguru, Infoferret, GSEL and I visited here as part of our day's caching in and around the Palmerston North area. This was a cache that I managed to find - a nice hide although I do wonder about the container's robustness.

The path was getting quite narrow, but we still managed to get the car down here. Brucewwnz was the finder and soon the log was signed. The two of us walked on over to the next find while the others got back in the car. All good here, and TFTC

#11,049. After attending a CITO event and doing a walk in the Manawatu Gorge a carload of Wellington cachers arrived here just before the cemetery closed for the night. After doing a field puzzle we headed here to find this relatively new cache. The coordinates once more were very good and BFG spotted it from the other side of the tree. The natural camo should keep it protected from prying eyes. Not sure why other cachers think a subdivision yet to be built will compromise this cache. Its got a long time to go before it has neighbours peering at it. The cache was another nifty design from this CO. Not a series of pill bottles tucked into crevices like so many caches these are a fun assortment of creative ideas. Well done JoeyGE0. Keep up the good work. I wish other geocachers would concentrate on hiding their own caches rather than putting down the hard work of people new to the game.

Quick find, and another clever homemade container by this CO (though mounting should prob be adjusted). Thanks JoeyGE0!

I was sitting in bed deleting email when I saw some new cache notifications sitting in the quagmire of my mailbox.
Hearing TwigNZ sipping his coffee at my dining room table, I stumbled out of the bedroom and mentioned about the FtF on offer. He stared at me blankly, but supplying a GC code proved that I wasn't still dreaming and he grabbed his jacket and keys.
I threw on some clothes and shoes and jumped in his car just as he dropped the clutch.

We arrived at GZ approx 45min after publication, and were unsurprisingly rewarded with a signed logbook. You gotta be quick round here!

We decided not to try the other new cache, assuming that it also would have already been found.
Instead we came home down this road finding other recent hides. This was one of them.

We found the container in about the third place we looked, and the logbook was quickly retrieved.
I hope the cache will remain in place as the construction work of the neighbouring subdivision approaches the fenceline... Sad

Thanks for the new caches in the area!

Early morning bike ride to this side of town to find new caches. Thanks JoeyGEO for the cache.

Over the last few months there has been a wave of new caches released in Palmerston North. This morning another 2 were added to the list.

I missed the notification for those two otherwise I may have been a bit quicker out of the blocks, so when Etherlord Clan and I got to one of them we saw that we had been beaten to the FTF. Never mind, that means we can just mosey back down this road and look for some of the other recent additions to the Palmy Geoscape.

Of the 4 caches I found today by this CO, this was probably the best of them. I cannot fault the co-ordinates, and the Hint helped to make it an instant find. An interesting container was found, which was only marginally let down by the fact that the log and baggie it was in (which generally is a good thing) were not the right size for the container and were trying to push the lid off, so it will be interesting to see if this one lasts through a winter.

I hope it does, as it's good to see new players want to come into the game, although a lack of experience is evident in the general quality of the cache. I'm not quite sure why the tree would be grumpy, but lets hope any new residents in the houses being built nearby don't become so in the future if they see cachers trying to find this cache. Hopefully the CO can take constructive criticism, and any new caches put out will be better yet.

Lovely little cache- took us two attempts but I have no idea how we missed it the first time!

#21082 (FTF #244). We'd hoped for an FTF the previous day in Stratford, but missed out by less than an hour, so it was nice to have a new cache pop up this morning that was (pretty much) on our planned caching route. Quick find at GZ. Fun hide. TFTC.

Our first full day in Palmerston North, and I was keen to make a dent in the 20/20 puzzle series. We had found a few last year but had run out of time as we concentrated on the SHIELD series instead.
We were just about ready to head for Ashhurst when StreetWalKerNZ noticed some new cache notifications come in. This was pretty much on our way, so we headed to the cemetery, where it didn't take long to find the cache, and a blank log book. TFTC.

Unsure how grumpy as I only had my phone light to help, but found in the end, thanks for the placement
