A most enjoyable morning spent caching on the backroads north of Kapunda and south east of Riverton. No luck for us today. The armco is brand new with new fill on the shoulder of the road.not sure if that has anything to do with the unfound cache or just our poor searching??Many thanks for the hide anyway 4WHEELAUSSIE

I decided to take Friday off work to make it a four day weekend. The plan was to explore around Barossa and Clare valleys. Im not much of a wine drinker but there sure are lots of geocaches in these parts. I brought my bike along so I could tackle some of the many caches along bike tracks. A little cool through out the day but the sun was shining which always makes me happy. Yes I am a John Denver Fan. It took some searching but I got it in the end. Thank you 4WHEELAUSSIE, for placing SIGNED for the geocaching community.# # SmileSmile #14875 SmileSmile # #

A Sunday drive with the Muggle Wife up north of Kapunda and surrounds. Her interest was the wildlife and stopping at sacred sites and other points of interest to read plaques and enjoy the scenery. Mr Adder also admired the abundance of accompaniments to roast potatoes and gravy.

All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
.
Using the phone as our GPS unit the Adder headed to the obvious spot but found nothing. A read of the hint and it became a quick find.

Thank you for the cache 4WHEELAUSSIE Find Number 9838 on 10/07/2022

Insert nano rant here.

I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.

This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Moving around, spotting and signing cache logs alone or with family and friends using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck WinkCoolBig Grin Plenty of that luck business actually !!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Caching is a hazardous activity!
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]

Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on Big Grin
Now there's no real restrictions - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!

Really good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting Cool

Thanks heaps for reading all this addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink

The streak continues.
It's a new month so the streak needs servicing. Had noticed when some caches had been published this morning but needed to wait until I'd had my fourth shot before heading out. Had phone in hand during my 15 minute wait, wondering which way I'd be heading. When my wait was up headed east but hadn't got far when that one was logged as found so turned left and headed north towards this one.
Wasn't that long before I was parking quite close to GZ and soon after, thanks to the good co-ords, I had the SOS in my hand. Back to the car to extract the log and was pleased to see that it was still a virgin. After writing my details in the log, replaced as found and headed for the nearest bakery to celebrate with a pie and some chocolate milk.
Managed to find half a dozen Used 2Bs by doing a bit of zig zagging on the way home to the little smoke.
Thanks to 4WHEELAUSSIE for the cache and the chance to continue the streak.
