Mum and Wendy are on the way south for the Mega in Dunedin and stopped to find this. After a fair search a kindy teacher came to ask what they were looking for and knew of the cache but also knew it was now not there anymore. She showed them where it used to be and indeed it has gone. This one needs replacing or archiving. Thanks anyway.
tmann421 and I are on our way south to attend the MEGA, picking up a few caches on the way.We enjoyed all the caches found and thank the cache owners for their efforts in maintaining these for us to findLog signed tm/ww NZTFTC
Nice find with woolwood9 today. Heading slowly down towards the MEGA in Dunedin.SL *tm/ww NZ**Thanks for the fun cache* Log and container replaced.
Sorry to report this cache has been muggled We easily found the location based on previous log photos, but nothing is there now.
Making our way south, trying to keep ahead of the rain, this cache was a quick easy find. We are both ex members of the Guide and Scout movements respectively, many many years ago. TFTC
We came to the south Island at the beginning of January and have been looking around since we are now heading north with a ferry crossing on the 24th. An easy find. Thanks for the.cache
TFTC. I used to lead Girl Gudes in dunedin. My group carried the commonwealth games flag in 1974.
We're on our way south to Oamaru and have stopped off for a break at Tamuka. A few caches to choose from, but a good Scout always checks out the local halls. This is our first cache in New Zealand. EleniB55 and Little Jimmy along with Swamp Wallaby and jasmr will be great virtual travelling companions. Thanks for the cache, Fantail_Club! Took nothing, left nothing, travellers visited and the log was signed.
We are visiting New Zealand from Canada and saw you cache when we were on our way south to Timaru. Thanks for placing it.
Miss 17 doesn't really like flying, so after she did a whirlwind trip with her friend around parts of the South Island, she asked if I would drive from Christchurch to Dunedin to pick her up. She paid for petrol and accommodation, and said I could cache the whole way! Of course, I said. Cause what Geocachers wouldn't??A quick find. Loves the GeoBear would like to know if he can be an honorary Scout/Guide?Thanks for the cache.
We tried for the AdLab but it was 10am on a Sunday - church time. Stopped by this one and grabbed it instead. I spent many a year in Scouts etc, quite enjoyed it so thanks for the cache. Cheers
First stop on my way south to Timaru. A Nice collection of scouting badges. Thanks for placing this cache Temuka Girl Guides.
My 100th find! So glad it was with the Girl Guides, as was a great part of my growing up. TFTC
This had been kindly relocated by muggles. It was found by the person mowing the lawn. Has been put back in its rightful place. All is well.
It seems to be missing from where it was according to a friend who has found it in the past
Stopped on my way to Timaru for the weekend for a quick find.. Thanks Fantail_Club for the cache.
Day two of my road trip. Today I'm heading from Geraldine to my destination in Palmerston. Finding a few caches along the way. All good here. Cache found in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Cache was a quick find and I had walked past it earlier in the day when I was doing the lab adventure
Quick trip down and back for a highland dancing competition. Came here on the Saturday night and was looking in all the wrong places. Stopped by after the competition on the Sunday and had a "ah ha" moment (face palm). Found signed and returned. Took two trackables and will release them shortly. Thanks for placing.
Heading home after spending Matariki Weekend in Christchurch. No one around early evening so a nice quick find. Left a couple of trackables TFTC
I thought I remembered well where this was but no had to use maps to get the street then did an unintentional illegal u-turn at an intersection. Once in the street a quick find TFTC
Noticed this on the map as I was driving through so took the side step to sign it off. The lights were all on at the playcentre next door but all quiet here. Super quick find thanks Temuka Girl Guides. TFTC # 19,674
Located with RNZ
We are in Temuka for RNZ's uncle’s 80th birthday party, and the day after we went for an early morning stroll around the town to pick up some caches before RNZ's siblings were awake.
There was so much development going on in other South Canterbury towns, it was sad to see Temuka looking so shabby & unloved

A quick find here on a quiet Sunday morning.
We are in town to celebrate my uncle’s 80th birthday and this is the closest one to our accomodation for the evening.
I used to come to this town many times a year when I was younger as my uncle and aunt live close to the Clandeboye factory.
Now I live much further away, so this is my first visit for about 7 years or so. Always good coming back though.
TFTC Temuka Girl guides, nice one.

Found while out walking near Hall on the Terrace, luxury apartments. Was this once a church property . Also picked up a Dunedin trackable.
Heading south for a wee Easter school family holiday.
Ducked in for a quick find and sign whilst still relatively quiet. Thanks.

We came here when we were doing the "Traipsing Around Temuka" adventure lab cache in January 2023. Only when we got home we found we had missed seeing this cache. A nice quick find today.
At first I thought it had gone as a large branch of a tree had been very recently cut off. Then I moved 3 metres and found the cache nicely tucked behind. Thanks for the placement
A very quick find after chasing up the Temuka Ad Lab. Always fun to find stress free caches. Thank you G.G.
GPS thought it should be in the fence. Widened the search and there it was. TFTC.
Lovely spot for a geocache. Sorryno cans today.
Never got to be a girl guide after brownies. For Christmas my sister in UK signed me up for Rebal Badges, the version for adults, so 2023 ai get to start working towards my badges.

Didn’t take too long to find. Looked in the wrong spot first but soon saw the error of my ways. Dropped a path tag for the guides and a TB.
Thanks for the cache, Fantail_Club

Not where my gps was suggesting? Anyway easier if you approach from a certain direction; TFTC
Its been 3 years since I was down here for work and there are a few new caches to get. Hardest thing was finding the right Street to go to. Once tire an easy park and grab. TFTC
A nice quick find. First find for the day, after almost 2 hours of driving! Thanks for placing your cache.
Time for another road trip for Ms_KR and KR, so we headed south toward Otago. The mountains looked snowy when we could see them throught the clouds, and the weather was fine. A great start! Oamaru tonight.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Back in greymouth for a while working at the Noah's ark backpackers...so a good base to tick off a few more..
Set myself a mission to hit 8000 finds by the end of the year...that's an average of 6 a day ..
A flying visit to my old stopping grounds on my way to do marshalling duties for "race tekapo " as part of the local search and rescue group..just enough spare time for a drive around the block..
Made that way harder than it should have been didnt see it until I was walking back towards the car...tftc

Short detour on a road trip with Hal2929 today to pick this up as we head through to mid Canterbury so Hal can pick up all his solved puzzles. He is hoping for 50 today. Parked in the nearby carpark and walked back for a quick find. Thanks Temuka Girl Guides. Cache is all good.
After a long day in the hills around mount Somers, I thought I would see if I could find another cache... Guess what... I did cheers for the smiley to add to my collection.
Found with farmerkeith on a sunny day for international geocach day. Thanks for the hide.
