I've replaced the cache container many times. Maybe someone is collecting containers; maybe the Balmoral Triangle syndrome has struck again; maybe the Green Man just prefers to be elusive.Whatever.... Go gently back into your forest glade, Green Man.
It is a shining green cylinder Need to look into bushes and trees you should be able to see it by moving a simple bit of nature out of the way If you cant find it look at the picture (Spoiler alert)
Ms Atalanta and I are doing the Bondi to Manly walk in incremental steps. Today we did the Taronga to Balmoral part which we have previously done several times; about 8km. This cache was after the end of the walk and was an easy find once we got GZ sorted .

Revenging a DNF from quite a while ago. This time I had no problem spotting the green man.

Pleased to find this one fairly easily after an successful search a few months back. TFTC
Our last cache for the day after 20k steps and grabbing fish and chips to eat in the park.
OCW cherryfromtheblock today and getting some steps and walking in to train for overland track in Tassie at the end of the year. Even though rain was predicted early afternoon we actually had perfect weather and couldn’t complain.

Lucky today! Finally found it. I think it may have fallen from a higher place. TFTC
With a large amount of spiders acting as guardians I was a tad unwilling to give a thorough search
Parked in the top road and descended down to GZ. The GPS was throwing us bit back and forth, so eventually we took a more logical approach - where could a cache of this kind really be hidden.
I’m back visiting from Brisbane and spent the day on the North Shore finding 16 caches plus 2 DNFs. This was well hidden - I almost gave up but looked from a different angle and spotted it. Luckily it’s a quiet pathway. Tftc
Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 5. After a fun few days with a large group of cachers, I spent this rainy day driving around Sydney seeking out a few caches in as many counties of those I have not cached in before as I can. As ever, doing anything in Sydney seems to take a long time and I think I managed seven counties today. Some caches were in busy public areas and some were in nice tucked away spots that seemed a bit secret. It was a difficult day, but all in all very satisfying. I will have to come back to finish off the last few counties in the future. I did not go all the way home but stopped the night in Marulan for some caching there in the morning.
It seemed to be lots of road to get down to the right level to start looking for this cache. Of course it started to rain again, but when I was near GZ, I was happy that for once I seemed to see this none straight away.
Thanks for the cache AussiePam

I searched here the other day, no luck. Again today looking high and low for the hanging cache. Still no find. Oh well, perhaps next time.
We called in at Balmoral today to help out Mr Funder and tried this one again. A short search showed us the little green man so we logged our attendance. Thanks to AussiePam for a good hide and maintaining this one so soon.
Unfortunately spent time looking for this one before scanning activity. Will watch its future.

Checked thislast week and all was hunky dory.
But today it's clear that the Green Man has once again gone AWOL. Balmoral!!!
Will disable and rethink!

An early start this morning saw PelDroedGwin and myself dropping Geodog off at the specialist hospital at 9am, that gave us a few hours to pass before we could collect her.
No luck here for us today.
This is one of those caches that I usually spot either at first glance or not at all, and today was the latter!

Couldn’t find even after checking all the available info, we might not be looking in the right place.
#9002 (3 of 8 today - including 3 Adventure Labs)
I am gradually catching up with my logging - am currently only a month and a bit behind. But that's still over 100 caches!
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
Nevertheless, I have kepy up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Decided to make some finds in Mosman and surrounds today - as I need four physical finds. Those ALs don't count for the calendar loops on Project GC.
Unfortunately, not having kept a close watch on my numbers I didn't realise that my 9000th find would be today. Makes it exciting... well random.
Got five, and finished off an AL while I was at it.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Would have been much easier if the muggles living next door weren't going out.
Thankfully I spotted it after a little bit of peering.
Signed, replaced and away.

Right well that's enough of winter.
When the wind eased ...... a bit ..... I decided to brave the weather and go for some caches this afternoon. I know this pathway as I often park near here when I visit Balmoral in summer.
I parked at the top and walked down. It was very sheltered and sunny. At the bottom there was hardly a car in sight.
I looked at GZ. These type of hides can be really tricky and time consuming and then again you can find it straight away which was the case today. Was it the original container? The logsheet inside contained all the online logs listed.
On the walk back up I noticed the steps seem to be falling down the hill.

In an attempt to populate some of our single & double find days with more finds on our “finds by found date” matrix I stopped off at Balmoral this morning, on my way home from finishing a night shift, to see if a bit of colourisation from AussiePam’s Colour Coordinated Cache Collection could do the trick. This was the 1st and only find for the morning (no others attempted).
I thought we were done with green, after finding "A Garland of Green" back in March, but it seems the CCCC selection box has had a revamp with an all new green variety substitution.
Parked in our favourite Balmoral street for free parking (timed but not metered) and then headed up the stairs for a nice quick find of green in the early morning light. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. It's a nice green vegetated pathway extending up the hill from GZ, which is appropriately named "Botanic Walk".
Thanks AussiePam for the early morning colourisation.

Nice sneaky hide after a day out. Cache and logbook are dry. No room for SWAPS or drops. TFTH TFTC Signing duties competed. Replaced cache as found ready for next cacher. Thanks AussiePam
Beautiful morning for a pre dawn cycle over to Balmoral to make this find. Carried the bike down the steps, made the find and had a nice rest on a step while completing log duties. What a lovely street. Thanks for placing this cache AussiePam, another brilliant location for the colour series. #1432

I saw this publish last night, but wasn’t in a position to go searching, but knowing I had to be up proper early this morning, I hoped my luck would hold.
When I rose this morning, the cache was yet to be found. I rushed through my morning routine, and headed for Mosman.
Found the GZ easily enough, but the cache itself was a bit more elusive in my pre-dawn torchlight.
With the clock counting down to me being late to work, I was getting ready to give it up, when I spotted a slight reflection.
Seconds later I had the log in my hands, and was gladly making the first mark within it.
Tftc, and the continuing colour series!

After a cache check of mine and a walk along Balmoral, I went green on the way home. An easy GZ to attack and like Azzepious was craning with eyes scanning until the shiny green reflection caught the gaze. Another great addition to the colour spectrum from AussiePam. TFTC!
The hardest part was getting the bag back in as it always was poking out. TFTC still
