Hi there KNGT, we found your cache The Big Red Bucket at 13:02 today. This is day two of our Nebo power trail" experience. Were caching with Rainforest Cookie and Ratdog. Just like yesterday, our aim is to find as many of the Military" series as we can before we head out on our separate ways. Of course we just had to visit here as well. Answers will follow soon. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
An unplanned drive to Moranbah, but nice to see such a thriving community in the middle of nowhere. Photo of Mr Snakepitter doing a poor attempt at the Toyota ad.
We are camped out at the rest area. After leaving our caravan behind we did a tour into town to do a couple of caches. This is an amazing size for the bucket but would not have taken any notice of the coal if I wasn't doing this EC.Answers have been sent to the CO.Thanks for placing this EC KNGTso that we can learn a little more

I've just been pushed to nightshift to sort out the coal washing for a facility (I'm a coal process engineer) so I thought I'd stop by the cache!
While going past Moranbah I called in here to check out this interesting Earth-cache.Answers sent to CO. TFTC

I hadn't been to Moranbah since 91.
Wow it has changed.
I always seem to stuff up earth caches, "which way are the lines going"..... I see lines going both ways /sigh.
Can you say you've found an Earth cache? Visited it maybe.
Nice Bucket

Mr CNQ, travelled down from Charters Towers had lunch and picked up a few other caches in Moranbah, before continuing to Emerald. Interesting to read about the background to the predominant industry in this area. Saw some big machines closer to Dysart and it was an interesting drive. Sent answers and attached photo of GPSR on a bucket tooth. Thanks for setting up this earthcache KNGT.
I am travelling with TBU1Bikesu in this area to discover unknown regions and refresh memories from previous trips.
This time, we stayed couple of days in Moranbah, a beautiful town.
Answers for this cache had been sent to CO, it was interesting to learn about this machinery and coal mining .

We came up North to escape the winter chill at home.
We are stopping for sightseeing and caching .
We enjoyed our stay in Moranbah and had learned a lot of the mining industry, also by working on the answers for this earth cache.
A fav point for the entertainment!
