Might take a while to sort this one, no car at the moment, and it's way too far to get here on my e-bike.
Should be easy to find, oh well, I'll have to disable it until I can get out that way again. Mind you the views are spectacular along this way, so won't be any hardship!
Looked twice, there and back but couldn't find it. There were a number of punga but quite overgrown and some obvious patches cleared. A bit of gorse about so didn't get in too deep.
Initially I thought this might be gone as there had been some gorse clearing around here and what looked like a giant weed killer container was sitting right at gz. Luckily for me Nette spied this sneaky hide as I was way off!
I took a day off work mid-week and decided to venture out to Whatipu for some hiking and caching. I visited this re-opened track a few months ago, walking it from the Karekare end, so today I headed from Whatipu to Pararaha and back again. Soon spotted the relevant punga and had the well hidden cache in hand. TFTC!
Out with GreenblAt on the Gibbons track - must have been at least 6 years since we where here last.
This was the last one we found on this track today as we'd lost internet reception to continue to find any new caches
Easy find - T4TC

A solo excursion for Mr Coblet.
My last find on this track and a great one to end on.
Initially my GPS was bouncing around a bit and I looked in slightly the wrong spot but I soon realised where I needed to look and loved the placement.
I had only intended to walk as far as this cache but had enjoyed my walk so much I continued on for quite a while before heading back. I will definitely return to finish it in full sometime.
I saw no muggles at all throughout my walk but did see a lot of birdlife such as Wood Pigeons, a Fantail, Ducks a Tui and even a Magpie .
Thanks Gorby for placing all of your caches along the trail and bringing it to my attention.
A favourite point for the experience.

Every reason to return to Whatipu is a good reason!
How about newly opened Gibbons track ?
How about new hides to be found ?
I really enjoyed my Sunday stroll here. Walked 12km from a car park to a Pararaha campsite.
Such a bliss!
A sort of last find for me here. Decided to complete the trail anyway
TFTC!

MrsJAG met up with Supernannny to check out this newly reopened trail and pick up the new caches along the way. This was the last cache for us today, as MrsJAG had other commitments. The colourful cache container was easily spotted without stepping off the trail. We added some extra natural camo to this one. Thanks for the cache and a Joint {FTF} with S/N.
Out on a spontaneous adventure today with Mrs Jag50.
We made the decision to come here after Mrs Jag got the notifications and contacted me.
We had hoped to do some caching somewhere today...and with these 6 caches being local - ish ; they fitted the bill nicely!
Great walking up the top along the flat gravel...but it was slow going for me up the stairs....Going back was sooooo quick in comparison.
Was a bit tempting to continue....but will leave that for another time...
Thanks to the General and Mrs Rusty for placing these lovely caches for us to discover today .
Another joint { FTF }
Easy find here!
And a Favourite Point to Gorby for the series!
