WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 39 - Younaning Dam to Brookton via Popanyinning and Pingelly. Last night was a lot drier than the last few and I had a nice night out in the bush, even with other campers not too far away. Most of the caching today was around the two towns on the way. Both have long history and plenty to see of what used to be, with a few Labs thrown in for good measure. I seem to have reached an area of WA where every third cache is a tree fishing cache, so that is pretty exciting. Only one has been two thirds of my pole so far. I am now in Brookton, about to go for a walk to see the town, even though it is another public holiday and is very quiet. The fist two caches were near where I stayed last night, but a but far to walk. SO this morning I stoped and checked out both locations. You can see the old courts, but there is no way you could play, so many trees. It reminds me of a site near Narromine in NSW.Thanks for the cache ebenie47379.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2016 Sugar Plum Fairy A#355**Albida**

I walked in the door having garnered 19 finds, 15 adventure labs, 1 event attended and 0 DNF’s for the day.

Back out in the Wheatbelt for an extended long weekend, attending the WA Goes Big 10th anniversary event in Narrogin. Hoovered up plenty of new caches in both Narrogin and surrounding districts, and had a great time with fellow cachers. Thanks to West Oz Geocaching for organising another ripper event! Caches signed through the weekend as ‘CC’ (meaning Cockburn Crew) to save space on logbooks. Cheers ebenie!
Down in Narrogin for the 10th anniversary of WA Goes Big! What a relief it is being away from the city for a few nights. As expected it was a busy weekend of caching and this meant driving to all corners of the shire and beyond. Picked up plenty of cache and hopefully will be back soon to clear off the rest of the map. Thanks to West Oz Geocaching for a great weekend of events!
Thanks team ebenie for putting out this series of caches. Found during the WAGB on the June long weekend fantastic day out with team adinache. Apologies for the late log

In the local area, I am enjoying my very first WAGB and visiting as many districts as possible with geo friends.
It has been an action-packed day all the way to finishing off with a couple of night caches.
To save space on the log sheets, we are signing as Team East+2.
All Adventure Labs were very interesting to do, and most caches we found today were in good condition and a credit to all the COs who placed them. Thank you ??

A few recently published caches were amongst the ones we found today.

Headed East of Perth today to the Wheatbelt with the crew for a days caching in the bush.
