Thought I'd get here early before the day got hot. Had to dodge the sprinklers but so worth it. What stunning gardens. Tftc
Stopped to sketch the pagoda, completed the nearby adlab then this cache. Great spot!
An enjoyable long weekend caching with friends around the Southern Tablelands.Quick find in a beautiful location. TFTC Feryl!
A cool and fun day of caching around the Southern Tablelands. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location. Container and log in good condition. Beautiful gardens! Thanks!
I finally got back to replace the container with a sturdier one, and a new log. Heaps of swaps in there at the moment - somebody has been generous!
Didn't use the photo for reference...I just trusted the coordinates and searched where I thought I would put it...and there it was...in the second place I looked. TFTC
Despite the cold and the rain, we absolutely loved visiting this beautiful location. We did the Adventure Lab and then made our way to this trad. Such a beautiful way to honour a colourful history of Young. Thanks FerylDomsky
Looks like this one is gone. Hopefully it can be replaced for this gorgeous spot.
Tried to find this while doing the Ad Lab. Looked and looked, but no luck. Add us to the list of DNFs. Our thanks anyway to Feryl.
Found the ideal hiding location, but no cache under the camouflage. I think it must have been muggled away. Thanks for bring us here. Nice place. Completed the adventure lab successfully.
We searched for quite a while in all the usual spots but no smiley for us today. Thanks anyway Feryl
Had a long look, couldnt find. The area in the photo has been disturbed so it may be gone
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 3: It is time to leave our waterside camp in Griffith today and head to Young, exploring and caching along the way. This was a lovely garden spot to explore and a great spot for a cache. Thanks Feryl for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY THREE: Ardlethan, Temora and Young.A quick find while strolling around these lovely gardens. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Feryl ~ ~
What a beautiful way to remember your good times with your Mum. We always love coming here. Thanks for placing the cache.
We love this place and as usual enjoyed a walk round and a picnic by the water. Many things for placing this cache.
Rocked it in on a damp morning before cycling Young to Coota via the west on our way to Eurobin after cycle touring around Taiwan.
I have been on holiday since August 18th, staying at QOGM Longreach Now on the way to Melbourne, we stopped in a few places where the weather was great, warm and sunny every day and cold and rainy after we left Melbourne. Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache Feryl.
Traveling through Young we saw the sign for the Chinese Tribute Garden so came to check it out. So glad we did, the view as you go through the gateway is absolutely magnificent! Saw there was a cache here as well so after exploring the gardens we searched for the cache. Came up from right side as I spotted it quite quickly, log signed and we were off to have some lunch.TFTC
Muggles, muggles, so many muggles. But it's a Sunday afternoon in spring, so you get that. TFTC
It was fitzy_1965's birthday this weekend, so we decided to head out west for a bit of caching.Great weather and great company lead to a great couple of days caching. We have been here a few times before and love visiting each time. Found the cache whilst doing the new AL.All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.
33,693. Found with minniek during a lovely country run this weekend celebrating another trip around the sun for me.After being away a month it was great to get out and do a country caching run with minniek again. We chose the Binalong / Harden / Wallendbeen / Cootamundra / Young / Boorowa circle to do. Our aim was also to enjoy a nice Pub dinner in Wallendbeen and to camp in Cootamundra after hopefully gaining revenge on a previous DNF down that way (which we did). This was the next find of the day. A quick find once at GZ while doing the lovely Adventure Lab here. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our journey to the next cache on our list. Thanks Feryl !!
Replaced the log and put the new one in a ziplock bag so it will hopefully stay safe from water!
Found a cache in a similar place years ago but it's no longer here. Glad to see this one pop up! Came home to Young and went for a walk through here with the family. Fairly sizeable container - could hold trackables!
Quick find thanks. What a beautiful, tranquil little garden! Everything all good with the cache and log despite the hole. Signed, replaced and camouflaged.

Geokid and I replaced the holey container with a metal container - hopefully that will prevent any other critters from nibbling it!
Nice easy find after completing the nearby Adlab with Thewins5 who I met at the start.
The container has a 1 square inch sized hole in it, but everything was dry.
Thanks to Feryl for the cache.

In town for a few days visiting family and decided to take a walk around the gardens, the area around the pagoda was closed for maintenance on my previous visit so the cache wasn't available no such trouble today, a thoroughly relaxing cache.
Something has munched a hole in the container but all contents seem dry and otherwise unaffected.
Thanks Feryl for placing and maintaining this game piece
Find recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK

The last day of setting off north with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Temora and drove to Young, doing a loop back.
Another lovely blue sky and sunny day.
This cache was replaced the day after we were here last!
Good to see the maintenance was done.
Unfortunately, some animal has already chewed the corner off the container! The contents are still dry thanks to the hide.
A lovely park for a memorial.
Thanks, Robmc.

#21223. Day 7 of our escape into NSW. Last full day of our holiday before making our way home tomorrow. Took the opportunity to do a rather large round trip from Temora to Young and back collecting caches as we discovered them along the way. A great day to see so many jet streams looking like giant pick-up sticks in the skies. Good to have more blue skies and sunshine.
After our DNF in May, we came back to the gardens just a few days later for me to create my AdLab. Didin't look to see whether this one had been replaced as the timing was only a few days. Was so annoyed to find it was already replaced by that day and we could have signed off on it back then. Here again and today we did find and sign. Like the last cacher said, there is a very large hole already gnawed in the bottom of the container.
As usual on a Saturday it was a busy place with much coming and going but we enjoyed a pleasant lunch by the water on this lovely day.
Thanks Feryl

Thanks heaps for the cache, quick and easy find once all the pedestrian traffic got out of the way... container might need replacing as the rodents have eaten a hole through it
With the week4end past, I was searching for places to go again. I selected a loop from Yass, to Young, via Boorowa and back via Harden & Binalong. It was a cold clear day that was great for caching. The first two I visited seem to have been taken by guard rail replacement work. I stay in Young was short but fun and included breakfast and the Japanese gardens. On the way back I did most of my caching around Wallendbeen and then a final cache in Binalong before heading home. Mind you it seems I need to go back Young to get my coat, oh well.
After a lap of the gardens to visit the five LABs that are here, I went around to where this cache is hidden. I found it ok, but a hole has been chewed in the container.
Thanks for the cache Feryl

What a beautiful, amazing tribute that I would not have found except for geocaching!! TFTC
Sorry for the delay in maintaining this cache!! I wanted to get her on Mother’s Day to sort it out but my day was way too busy. But it’s done now! A new container and log, in approximately the same spot.
Day two on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Tonight we have made it to Cowra!.
A lovely area, and we got some great photos, but no cache did we find here.
Thanks, Robmc.

Two TASSIES on the final legs to home. Took the short cut from Gilgandra to Narromine, and on thru' to Parkes, Forbes and Grenfell to Young. So now that we are staying here for the week, naturally we will try for the available caches whilst checking out the neighbourhhod. Lambing Flat Chinese Gardens were certainly worth the time we spent there, and once the marauding school group got back on their bus we could give this one serious attention. As a result of giving the GPS a rest in the one spot, we can say the co-ords are 10 to 11 metres astray, so others might need to widen your search to come up with the goods, which were in good nick and plenty of room to sign. Thanks for placing this cache here for our travelling enjoyment Feryl.
Off to Weddins for the weekend and I had enough time to stop in Young to get this cache (really delaying my arrival so it didn’t coincide with the storm front coming through).
Hadn’t been here before - might bring the family nest time as a nice spot.
Took a couple of searches as plenty of natural camo. Found just after I spiked my leg on a casuarina branch. Log all good here.

Thank you Feryl for bringing us to this lovely spot and the pleasant walk around the chinese garden
Found this on my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend. Glad to know this spot means as much to other people as it does to me. Rest in peace Vonnie. TFTC
