After setting our vans up in the caravan park with iluvtrekking we headed out to grab some nearby caches. If the 8 weeks we have been in SA, today is the first day we’ve actually felt warmth from the sun ??. Solved in readiness for our Moonta visit. Thanks for the hide.
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A beautiful sunny day to day, what a treat. We have enjoyed our time travelling the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for guiding us around your state.

I have checked GZ, the rock wall in which the cache was hidden was damaged.
I'm unsure whether it's geocachers or unrelated but a local resident who maintains the area is reportly upset at the damage.
So I am archiving this cache as a result.

What a lovely spot. I was directed to visit here to check out a potential wedding spot. As an occasional cacher, I knew there was a cache here. I contacted a previous finder who told me where the cache would be - there was a photo with an arrow so I knew exactly where it would be. I could not find it even with the help of some friends.
No luck today.
A heap of grass clippings have recently been dumped in here, so that's my excuse!

A fun day with JJ52 and Michells&hound going from Adelaide to Lochiel, Snowtown, Bute and Moonta finding caches along the way. My main role was to drive and find caches. TFTC pineapplegoldy
Today was a mighty fine day. A Jams crew day albeit depleted today it was just Allisterw, JJ52 and I so we logged using our individual caching names rather than as Jams.
We made a canny plan to head up the highway to Lochiel, Snowtown and then via Bute to Moonta. Lots of caches found including several ‘bastard’ nanos (eagle eyed Allister was the nano king today). Lots of historical buildings, a monster, the beach, a wedding, a bomb, tractors and many ‘welcome to’ signs. Lots of ‘bastard’ cacti but we seemed to win more of those than we lost which was a definite bonus. Only one dnf for the day.
70 caches visited and Allisterw top scored with 69 finds.
It was very chilly all day but no rain so no complaints.
Thanks to the many COs for contributing to our day out and big thanks to my pals for the laughs and Allí for driving
Quick find and sign here despite the wedding going on TFTC pineapplegoldy

A caching day was planned with allister w and Michells&hound and a nice list was made visiting Lochiel, Snowtown, Bute, Kadina and Moonta. [^]
It was an early start on a cold winter day. The temperature hovered around 8-11 degrees for most of the day but that didn't hinder us, at least it was dry. We had a fun day driving some great country roads and tracks and found a great assortment of caches in some pretty cool spots.
This one took a while to work out what was needed and it was only after reading Gum-Ako's log that I looked at it differently as well and soon had numbers that the checker liked. Wandered along to GZ at a spot I have been to a few times and even found a cache here previously. Didn't take too long for Allister eagle eye to spot the cache.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache pineapplegoldy.

Found It!
I solved this one without any problems then today I went to GZ and after a lot of searching I spotted the cache. Nice place, I remember finding a cache here many years ago, I guess that one must be archived now.

Another classic puzzle to solve. A great final cache location. What is not to like.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.

Found with Freddo on a trip to the Yorke Peninsula to attend the event today.
Despite the threat of bad weather, we somehow managed to avoid the rain until we were almost back home to Adelaide.
Another nice quick find.
Thanks pineapplegoldy for the puzzle and the cache.

This was a nice and easy puzzle and an interesting location that I would have never known about with the pump house nearby
Today Nettieknows, Courtneyrose and I all headed up to the copper coast to attend the event in wallaroo plus find a few caches around the area and check it out. A nice day out dodging the extreme winds and wild weather. Total of 23 finds.
Thanks for the cache

Quick find with Bindi the geo pooch!!! We then had a nice (...if a little windy) beachwalk!!!
Any bay with Moon in the name can't be that bad. Did I just say that.
This time found in the company of brisal5, Blackadders and SA Sewer Rats. We looked where we thought it would be and there it was. What did we say!?? RMT of course.
Thanks to pineapplegoldy and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group had us heading back once again to the upper Yorke Peninsular in search of solved puzzles and anything else we came across. Today it was myself, Blackadders and Astro meeting S.A. Sewer rats at the Rat's
nest By the end of the day we had traveled over 500 km's in search of pieces of Tupperware in the woods.
Another puzzle that was quickly solved. [^] Another cache that was quickly found. A cache hide that we had already found a few times today. So why does this one get a favorite point. [?]
Because of where it was hidden. It took me to a place I never would have found or known about if not for caching. A beautiful secret garden on a walkway between a road and the beach where a piece of history lays in ruins forgotten by most and overlooked by nearly everybody. Thanks for bringing us here.
***Thanks pineapplegoldy for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Yay time a Wednesday wander., for the befuddled Puzzlers. The group consisted of the Rat,a starfish, the Starman and the Adder.
We started from the Rat's den, then Two Wells, Avon then over to the top of the Yorkes and further north.
Our plan was to find Puzzles, multi's, trads and any DNFs.
A quick and solve.
A quick find at GZ, for the Befuddled Puzzlers.
We stamped the logbook, replaced the cache where we found it.
A fave point for the lovely location.TFTC

Another Wednesday wander for the befuddled, this time the targets were a number of newly published puzzles and multi caches at the top of the Yorke Peninsula and further north with a few previous DNF's on the agenda.
With a full crew of a Starfish, Rat, Adder and a stargazer we met at the Rat's den at 9am for a long day with our final celebrations at the Bentley Hotel in Clare.
As always, all caches were visited and signed by all members of the group or each member had a part to play in retrieving the prize.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
Another of the easier puzzles that could be solved by the Adder.
Thank you for the cache %CacheName pineapplegoldy, found 1/06/2022

Silver lining on my afternoon out (0r is it bronze?)
Found at 3.45pm
Tried a number of ciphers and code breakers with no success.
Finally just looked at it with the naked eye until patterns appeared and then applied logic and deduction to complete the puzzle
So, I don't know how i did but i did do it on my own!
TFTC and the effort that went into its construction PineappleGoldy and for reigniting some FTF competition with Dazza and Marg! (I think they pipped me by about 30 minutes?)
Great to have them back in the field

Solving this one took a bit longer than expected but that was fine as it made for a find to fill in another calender day with find and still got the FTF as well. Been to this spot a few times over the years even found a cache or 2 here that have since been archived. TFTC
