Last morning of WAGB 2023 collecting the last of our unfound caches before leaving town. Very damp day for caching. TFTC Foxdoug.

Visiting from the east and heading to the WAGB event and caching along the way and at the event and areas around Narrogin then on to Kulin and back to Perth via a quick visit to Albany. Thanks to all the various COs for placing caches (or EC and virtuals) for us to locate, learn and explore. Signing as Team East+2.

Quick run around town to get the last couple left before leaving town. Very clever camo we were scratching our heads for a bit, feeling the pressure in the rain. drooped in a trackable

Grabbing a few caches the fam already found. A short search and the cache was in hand. Tftc Been here a few times as a kid while Dad was racing

Down in Narrogin for a weekend of some serious caching and event attending. Teamed up with AlliedOz, Kyzabra, Rokadz & The_Fitzys for the most part and ended up with 90 odd smilies over the three days.

This one had us all a bit stumped until The Fitzys sauntered over and unveiled the cache, the man is on fire today. Awarding a favourite here for the clever idea.

Foxydoug I found your cache at 1:27pm, this was the 23rd of 40 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7946. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Sitting at home in Victoria about 2 - 3 weeks ago and I noticed an article about WAGB.
I had heard of it before and I checked out the dates for it and thought to myself that that is very do able for me.
Airfares and car rental booked then posted my will attend to all of them.
I then worked out some accommodation and here I am for my first WAGB weekend and a couple of extra days as well.
Flew in to Perth, picked up the rent a car and off I went.
I was targeting certain types for a challenge back in Victoria and any other caches along the way.
Well it’s day 3 of WAGB and there is an event out of town and the body clock still has not realised the time difference so up early again and out and about to find a few more.
A nice set up here and hopefully it still get used a bit to keep the BMX’s happy.
After wandering around GZ I soon spotted the cache and then added my name to the log.

Hi there Foxydoug. While out on the road today we found this cache at 0204pm after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Foxydoug for this cache - our find 10511 and the 3rd of 6 finds for the day.

That was a trickier one

Luckily for me gmj3191 was quick to find this one as it is a very clever hide. Thanks for the fun.

Today we looked around Narrogin, did some Adventure Labs and some of the caches placed around the town. This is one of the caches I found with PamJ.
After investigating at GZ, the access issue was solved and the log book signed.

So my 10th WAGB Event. - out on the hunt with Spatial Riq,

Day two of WAGB and today TaurusSix and I have planned the day around the different events. The day started off extremely foggy and cold but by mid morning it was beautiful and sunny. The launch and the puzzle Adventure Lab were great fun and well organised by the West Oz Geocaching Committee . The rest of the day has involved lots of Adventure Labs the odd multis and the odd puzzles, a few of the new TOTT required and a short drive out and around Cuballing, Dryanda and a back road back in to Narrogin in time for the CITO and evening event. All in all a wonderful geocaching day.

This is our twentieth cache find of the day along with a host of Adventure Labs. Last time we were here we had to log a dnf for this has we could not get into it. So we are super excited to avenge the previous blue frown with a happy yellow smiley. Great cache setup. Thanks for the cache Foxydoug .

Woo Hoo! WAGB is off and running. A couple of quick caches before heading to the launch event. Snuck out in the middle to attempt 2 nearby multi's then dash back for our shot at the Puzzle Room (what amazement & fun) Back to camp for some lunch before a few town caches then off to CITO and the treasure hunt, yep we did not find any treasure

Then a quick catchup at the Night Sesh before heading indoors to keep warm and prepare for another epic day tomorrow!

Find 9 of 40 on a perfect day - loads of excellent caches and lots of mountain bike riding between them, on great tracks - covered 45km today finding every unfound physical cache and AdLab in Narrogin town, apart from the two fishing caches.

Mr O hit the track and did some pumping (!) before arriving at GZ first, finding the cache but completely failing to access it. Mrs O came along and made the find, which would have been fine but Barco witnessed it all.

In Narrogin for WAGB 2023, ullyssia and I teamed up today to find as many caches as possible in and around town. We also attended the events, had fun in the puzzle room and went for a bit of night caching! The weather was perfect and it was nice to run into other caching teams throughout the day. Thank you very much to the organising committee for an enjoyable weekend!

WAGB23! After the event kicked off this morning and I had collected all my goodies, I headed off with a coffee to walk the history trail and tick off the various Ad Labs. Then it was a drive to a few locations around town, including this one. Arrived to find team Olthomas in full swing, both hard at work trying to access the container. I was a mere observer and before I knew it I was being handed the log to sign. Who doesn't like a free kick, hey! Nice hide here by the way TFTC

It was the first thing I looked at and dismissed. However, after checking all around, came back for another look. A quick read of previous logs confirmed my suspicion and I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC ??
I think this will be very difficult to retrieve in summer months!

Muggle free search and checking out the mechanics of things earned a smiley TFTC

Up nice and early to head off to Narrogin for WAGB. My plan is to clean up the green dots on the east side then head to the west side to meet up with N2O to continue. This is going to be a massive weekend and no doubt a great adventure. Many thanks Foxydoug for placing this hide for me to find and adding to an awesome weekend at WAGB23. This will be my 6284 find.

Driving past Narrogin and saw that there are so many caches so decided to do some. Such a cool hide, tftc!

pugdog002 found it 14/3/23 on our trip geocaching, well Geo hubby had to come help here he discovered where it was and left me to sign the log and went back to Geo pup in the car, but do you think I could put it back, so he had to come back with a tyre leever. Well makes for an interesting day. TFTC Foxydoug

Out and about again, a hot day, jumping in and out of the car and enjoying the aircon. Hit the country mainly around the Narrogin locality.

Found a variety of hides in different areas which made for a good day out. Generally quick finds today.

I had a few hours to kill before a meeting in Narrogin, so I decided to come out to Dryandra and have a crack at the new first to finds. I wasn’t holding a lot of hope, having been out for the better part of 24 hours, but sure enough, blank logs on those that were not jetskiied already. After my meeting in town, it was back to Perth, winding around to some caches along the way of course.

I spent some time here doing some head scratching. I kept coming back to the hint, but had no idea. Eventually I dared to stick my finger somewhere and felt a promising sign. A bit of jimmying and I had the cache within proper sight. Add fav. Cheers Foxydoug!

Overnighting in Narrogin. Thanks for all the new caches and AdLabs that have been set since our last visit. This cache was a stand out, a FP from us.

After a day of mixed success I needed one more find on the way home. This looked interesting as I recalled finding a cache here some time ago.
On arrival I parked up and headed towards where I’d found the other, but the GPSr said to go somewhere else.
I followed the pointer and came across a logical place. But I could not access it. I tried a few options but came to the conclusion it was properly secured and I was not supposed to go there.
I looked around for other options and even revisited the older GZ.
But I had to leave empty handed.

A FP for this clever cache.
Heading home after our short country trip to clear up some caches and AdLabs.

Staying at the in-laws farm @ Harrismith, I headed into Narrogin to catchup with Geo-friends and of course a few finds we’re on the list. Thanks to the CO’s for placing and maintaining caches.

This was a nice quick find after a play in the park and another chat about potential hiding places given where we were standing and the distance to the GZ.

The young people thoroughly enjoyed their caching adventure this afternoon and we will continue searching for more next week.
