Back up the Federal and Hume Highways for a few hours today to make a further dent in the Goulburn-region cache collection.Took a hot minute (and some assistance) to locate this one after solving the puzzle. Thanks, Dark_Matter06.
A day dedicated to collecting caches in and around Goulburn. A strong flash light was a great help. TFTC
A last minute decision early morning to head north again. A beautiful warm spring day with beautiful green views all around particularly while driving on the highway. Great to avenge a DNF but only with a PAF. A very clever hiding at a spot-on GZ. TFTC Dark_Matter06!
This one took longer than it should have but eventually found. My normal Monday morning caching session with barb2e and Isopeda started rather earlier than usual to attend the nearby CITO that earned us a souvenir as well. Snow on to the next one that we found here. What would we do in Goulburn without this family. TFTC SL
Caching with barb2e and SmittenGranny on a blustery Monday morning. We had an early start to come to the CITO. I had worked this out earlier. It wasn't a quick find, but we did find it. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Decided to have an early start for the day and ventured up to Goulburn for the CITO with Smittengranny and isopeda. Included a few other solved and needed caches on a short target list. A very windy start for the morning. Tftc
Solved this last time I stayed in Goulburn and I incidentally ended up parking at what must have been the shops!Cache all good at GZ.Generic summation of the day:I cooked up a plan to come to Goulburn overnight to grab some caches and AL on remembrance driveway. Had a pretty successful day, but ended up very cold.Snack situation: woeful. I started with a McMuffin and coffee for breakfast which held me over till 3pm but then I DNF two caches in a row and scrounged in my glovebox for a packet of rice crackers. Public toilet situation: they were plentiful at all the rest areas and many parks.Munzees: zeroWeather: cool, a little bit rainy at times, with a sharp drop off in temperature from 3:30pmWeirdos spotted: two kids walking down the street that said evening mam even though it was 1pm. Smoking muggle near the race course hating life pacing back and forth in front of the cache there. Dinner: Thai takeawayThanks to the cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches in Goulburn TFTC!
Found with Youban and Tankengine on a lovely day out and about in the Goulburn area for a bit of a difference. This cache: Took a little bit to find as it wasnt what we expected. But found and signed so all good. Tftc!!!
For my last day off of my annual leave, I decided to head to Goulburn for the CITO. Of course I went and found other caches that have been on the to-find-list for far too long. I found 25 caches today which all had various different cache types, containers, hides and D/T ratings. I started off finding the caches along Lerida Rd before heading into Goulburn for a few more caches and of course the CITO. The CITO was great fun as well. I also enjoyed the catch up with everyone and spending a bit of time finding a few caches together. Most were easy finds but a few were a difficult to get in hand plus I also had one DNF. I enjoyed my day out and now time to head home. TB visit on all found caches. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE & TFTCs!
The day's weather was a real mixed bag. Sometimes overcast, sometimes raining and sometimes sunny - but always with the ever present very cold and strong, blustery wind. We still managed to get some caches with ilook4geo and signed the logs. Thanks go to Death_Killer for this cache placement,
The best part of today's caching was being in the car and out of the wind! But we did have to get out to make some finds with goingplaces2. All good with this one. TFTC.
After checking out of our accommodation it was now time to head home as our holiday comes to a close but not before picking up a few more solved puzzles and letterboxes and then saying goodbye to Goulburn.Took awhile to get our hands on this one as it was muggle central but our patience eventually paid off and we had our name on the log. Thanks Death_Killer for the mystery placement.
Accompanied with ALL7, prefect weather today than yesterday been raining offs ons catch up with Goulburn caches area heaps, awesome interested, good fun day. TFTC
Accompanied with 63ROOS, enjoyed trip to Yass, Crookwell, Gunning, Goulburn for catch up caches tks
After spending 4 big days in Canberra for the Capital Geo Bash, it was time for me to leave Canberra and head towards Goulburn. I decided to spend a night in Goulburn to tackle a bunch of high terrain and/or high terrain caches, and pick up some solved mysteries. The hint was handy and made for a quick find. All good here. Thank you Death_Killer, for placing Crestwood Shops no more for the geocaching community.# # #14648 # #
The day started with a local caching outing, just in case it was too wet in the afternoon. This did not take long and I was soon home, dealing with the fact that Telstra Mobile has stopped working in my area. With not much to do during the day, I was happy to see the weather was good enough for caching with Joolay and Kitty Katch along the way to Goulburn. We targeted the new caches that came out today and were solved, but we were an hour too late. They were all found plus a few others before we headed to the CITO. With the weather closing in we picked up rubbish for a bit and did some cache maintenance before heading to dinner. The Club was busy, I suppose it is school holidays. We managed a great meal, even if the group was a little smaller than it sometimes has been. The drive home was wet, no much re to say about that.We ran out of time for this before the events, and I managed to talk Joolay into back tracing a little to go and pay a visit to a spot I felt sure would hold the cache despite a recent DNF. It really fits in well and needed a good feel to identify in amongst everything else. Final pickup on the way home. Well it was out of the way but whats one more cache Lovely to be back to catch up with the Goulburn crew. Thanks for getting me out and about Death_Killer
It was a last minute decision early morning to complete a round trip northwards to collect a handful of targeted caches. Fun morning with friends. Sadly, the group were unable to find the small bison despite a 'thorough' search by each of us. Maybe next time!
Day 1 of our Christmas - New Year 2023 holidays, and we have arrived in Goulburn. After setting up, it was time to grab a few geocaches that caught our eyes. Mostly some puzzles, multicaches, and some high DT geocaches. After dinner, it was time to grab a few more geocaches. The rain seems to be holding off for a little while longer, so while the sun is up, the 999s will play.Read a few news articles about this one and was then able to solve the puzzle. Today driving past, we stopped to look for the geocache. 999HK and myself rushed over, and thinking we knew where it was, failed to find anything. Lots of cars slowed the search down, but soon spotted it tucked away hidden well. Thanks for the cache, Death KillerHunter
Itd been a while since wed been to Goulburn, so a days caching with steeba and Hoojar was mapped out.Armed with our TOTT we picked up a good handful caches in the area. Thanks to the COs for placing the caches.TFTC
On a day trip with The Rats and Steeba, targeting caches in and around Goulburn. Cheers
Headed down Goulburn way with The Rats and Hoojar to tackle mainly Periodic table series caches- plenty of interesting places and hides, with some TOTTs required. A good day out all around.TFTC!
# 8860 It was a cool but lovely day so iPlod65, Ruby the geo-hound hit the road and headed to Goulburn for lunch and geocaches. I was keen to grab a good variety of caches for the current Wheel of Challenges season. I think we got 6 different types today, so the rest should be a breeze.
Puzzle was not too bad and we made a quick find at gz.
Thanks Death_Killer for the cache.

Tftc. Quick find on a chilly day while visiting family in the area. Cleaver hint.
Messaged Rapidlywild to see when her next RDO was and suggested taking today to attend the CITO and collect some caches around the Goulburn area. She was keen so one of the FFLL team took a TOIL day as well.
Lovely day for it although a little chilly and all caches were found and we were also given prior permission to replace if any were missing. Loved the number of tree fishing caches here they are a bonus. We were joined by fitzy_1965 for the remainder of our tour around Goulburn which was helpful.
Thanks for the hide and puzzle Death_Killer thanks for a fun day out Rapidlywild and company fitzy_1965.

Found on today's venture to Goulburn for the next round of GGGT events. Took a couple of goes to get the correct date for the puzzle because as others have said, it seems there are several dates on Google. At GZ today it was a reasonably quick find. Good hint! TFTC!
A familiar spot, done a cache here before. Found OK after poking around a bit.
Thanks,
Thanks,
A last minute midweek roadtrip to Goulburn and Yass valley with some stop overs along the way. Visited a lot of great spots and did some interesting caches.

Found an article with the ABC which gave an odd answer. With further research found an article in the local rag which gave a different date but this date gave a good answer. Spent a lot of time at gz searching before finally feeling the cache. TFTC.
28,562. minniek and I helped the CO plan and deploy this cache, so now that its been found a few times I'm claiming a find.
Was with the CO when the cache was placed so now logging my find.
It sure was a sad day when the shops burnt down! They made the best fish and chips.....the shops had been closed for a while 'for renovations'. All the food was left on the shelves and after being vandalised, it wasn't too surprising to see the final demise.
I know the elderly couple who live next door. Thankfully neighbours woke them at 3am when the fire took hold. Just a bit of superficial damage to their fence in the end.

Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.
Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.
The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.
In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.
Thanks Death_Killer for the puzzle and the cache.

Day 4 of e.gregory1 and I’s trip to Yass, NSW and surrounds for a week away to find a few caches. Today we headed from Bowning to Goulburn, hitting the local trails around Yass and a few others around the area before caching around Goulburn for the afternoon.

Nice fast find on this one tonight whilst we were visiting good old Goulburn Town. Thanks for the neat little puzzle and memories of caches past. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Nibketricecakes and Gliss while attending the events tonight. Nicely solved by Gliss, and NRC and I jumped out to make the find.
Thanks for hiding this cache Death_Killer for me and others to find.

When e arrived at GZ we had instant feelings of deja vu. We found a cache here on our previous visit to town.
Took a few minutes of good searching to locate the hide.
Another day in Goulburn which has some great caching. We are staying a while longer so we can join the Events scheduled for tonight.
Today we spent our time in and around town working an Ad Lab we had not finished and a range of caches we have not got to yet, and what a beautiful day it was for it.
We managed more multis, puzzles and quite a few traditionals, both in town and ventured up to Mount Gray.
Another good day with most caches in good condition and muggle traffic not too high.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Death_Killer.

Signed dsd or darksidedan or Adventure Boys or AB to save space in the log. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
A quick solve 10 minutes before leaving for Goulburn! Didn’t even see this cache come out so was surprised to see it pop up on the map when I went to search for the events tonight! Luckily it was a quick solve, what a devastating fire and outcome for the businesses and local community affected
GZ was in a very familiar spot, and we found not one, but two caches! The archived cache with a full log was still at GZ! So we removed this as we were about to see the CO in the next 30 minutes. Injuryman hadn’t found the old cache though so he was lucky to find it!
I handed the old archived container to the CO at the event and now only the correct one is in place
Thanks for the cache!

OCW sammybro19 our great-nephew. We were showing him the ropes re geocaching. Obviously, we need to help him with writing a decent log.
We found a cache with a stack of names on the log and sammybro19 then noticed the actual cache with only two names. We signed both. TFTC Death_Killer

A bit of googling earlier in the week gave me the required information, so today I headed straight to GZ. I've been to GZ for a cache once before, and happily this one was must more readily located!

Plans were put in place with The Drovers to do a bit of caching in Goulburn today thanks to the long weekend for the Canberra people. The weather was rather chilly today and those winds tore through our jackets/jumpers.
During our discussions the night before, we both noticed this new puzzle and that it was unfound. So we got about solving it and soon had the green light with the correct coordinates. We were honestly expecting it to be well and truely gone by the time both teams arrived into Goulburn, but on our arrival, we checked the phones, and it was still unfound, so we made our way to GZ. I remember this location and I am remember searching here for a cache in the past. Fortunately for us, a quick find was made and a joint *FTF* @ 10:00 was soon ours.
Thanks for the puzzle, the history lesson and the cache placement Death_Killer Fav point added.

We planned a day or two in Goulburn, and sent a text to Rapidlywild to see if she could join us.
Sunday seemed to suit, so the target was - to find as many multi's as we could, and a few others.
We decided to start our day with a joint *FTF*, as it was still unfound after three days.
A quick find, in nice location. I hope the locals have found another nearby shop.
Thank you, Rapidlywild, for joining us and making the day so much more fun.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Death_Killer, for us and others to find.
