Quite a long spell since we found a cache, hoping this is the beginning of a good run. Cheers
Geomum decided to use her lunch break to get some vitamin D and nab a nearby cache. Stealth was required but some quick moves and the cache was found, signed, and replaced.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 50 - Bunbury Day 2. The day started on the scooter seeking art locations, some for Labs some for Multis. I made at least one mistake in each multi, but they are sorted now and I will look for them later. I avenged one DNF from yesterday and then went on a car based suburban and industrial caching run till a late lunch. There are some parts of Bunbury that get very busy at times. I sort of fell into a caching run out to Turkey point. A few interesting aches and two trains, more than I have seen for the rest of my trip. With caching done, I headed back to the van for some afternoon catching up on logging.Today was a Friday, but everyone must have been getting a head start on the weekend's projects. The place was busy busy busy. When the two cars next to GZ and the three in the order pickup zone either left or went into th store, I could get to the cache without looking too out of place, having the car in the right spot really helped too. Cache signed and returned safely. Thanks for the cache dimor47716.6 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2009 Compass Rose Silver Glossy A#158**Albida**

Thanks team Dimor for the cache. We had a few things to do in Bunbury for the day didn’t have much time but did manage to get one cache for the day.
I've always enjoyed spending time in this place cruising down the aisles waiting for inspiration to jump off the shelves.
A straightforward hide here but muggles galore. Think I got away with it!
Cheers dimor

It’s seem like every time we are in Bunbury we need to grab something from inside the building with the Big Red Hammer. We’ve always got a project on the go. No difference this trip, except w were able to add another smiley to our map.
TaurusSix and I had both had very busy work days and as we were catching up at the end of the day , it dawned on us that we still needed our two geocaches for the day to continue our streak of getting to 365 days. We set ourselves this task from the first day we moved to WA and now we are nearing 208 days in a row . Hence even though it was raining cats and dogs and the fact that we were dressed in work clothes we had to get our two caches for the day. We have deliberately been saving many of the inner Bunbury ones (for such a situation) or indeed so we could pace ourselves with this goal in mind. Even though the rain was horizontal with prevailing winds off we went.
This was the second of the two find. The Carpark was reasonably empty at this time . As we pulled up we guessed where the cache would be however we just needed to navigate the rather large puddle which had formed due to this increasing downpour. There was no choice we just had to suck it up and get wet. The things you do for a geocaching goal. TFTC

Just about to leave Bunbury after attending WAGB 2022, stopped to get some moisture crystals for the camper and couldn’t believe it when I realised I had almost parked beside this one, a quick grab, sign and return TFTC
Day 4 Of our WAGB22 adventures: A great start to the day- a scenic country drive although a bit bumpy along a 4WD track. Cito event in Collie. Several more caches found and lots of laughs . What a full day . Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for others to find , tftc
Day 4 of caching our way around Bunbury and surrounds for WAGB22. Ive enjoyed the variety of hides down here. Thank you to the COs for placing these caches out here for others to enjoy. Apologies for the generic logs.
We parked nearby and washed about 20m to the cache location. Being a Sunday made it a bit harder to grab but as it was at a good height we could do it without any suspicion.
Getting it back in place took a bit longer as car pulled up just at the wrong moment.

Timed it well - nearly 10pm and the place was deserted. Quick find for Mrs O. Thanks for placing, dimor!
One of many finds on a typically K.B. big day of caching. Thanks. Got the perfect parking spot.
Searched and made a quick find then moved quickly to smash out some more finds prior to WAGB22 weekend with the Cockburn Crew - good timing as there were plenty of FTF's up for grabs in Bunbury today.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Down in Bunbury on an overnight raid for FTFs and new caches. Thanks to all the COs for their work in placing new caches for WAGB… now I’ve just got to clean all the old stuff up!
Cheers dimor!

I’ve been planning a Bunbury run for some time to cleanup all of the new green dots that keep appearing on the map.
With yesterdays plan thrown out the window I made arrangements with a group to get down here and cleanup. The icing on the cake came in the way of a bunch of FTFs appearing late last night.
A very unsociable start time was agreed and we made good on the caches, had a couple of DNFs, which means we will have something to find on the next trip.
Thanks to the COs for a great day out.

I was already planning on heading down bunbury way today when B12 rang me last night to say him, C10, Lachlan and Legs5 were also heading down and to meet up in bunbury. The bad part was we had to leave at 3.30am as there was FTFS up for grabs....
Grabbed a coffee on the way down and met up and then we cleaned up all the caches that had recently been published, managed to get quite a few FTFS, unfortunately we had a couple of DNFS then we parted ways and i grabbed some caches the others had already found. It was worth the early start for the amount of caches that were found. A big thanks to all the CO,S for placing all the caches for everyone to find

Well it was all ready a big week without the new injection of hinds to the Bunbury area on the Thursday morning. Then Thursday afternoon had us convinced to head to Bunbury earlier than planned!!
A bid day out finding caches through the Bunbury area ahead of next weekends event.
