The GPS on our phones wasn't coping with the trees too well and was bouncing all over the place, at one point telling us that GZ was 110 metres away. But our geosenses knew better and we soon located the caches hiding spot, nicely tucked away out of sight.

I had a little time this afternoon while waiting for some clients doing the Treetop walk, so my time was well spent caching. Nice easy find, though high muggle traffic everywhere. Log signed and cache replaced. Thanks

Last find in rotorua on our cool overnight vacation.
This was a quick find and then we strolled back to the car and onwards to the blue lake.

We have visited the Redwood Forest a few times now but never completed any Geocaches here. So on this trip our aim was to collect a few. This one was a quick easy find. TFTC.

We discovered a whole lot of new hides in the Redwoods. Quick find, visible from the track so we camouflaged it a little more. TFTC
Came out today to do the tree walk and saw this cache not far from where we parked so snagged it on the way back to the vehicle. Picked up the TB to take back home. Cache all fine. Thanks for the placement.
Well, the name was a big hint and the cache is pretty big, too, so I could leave a TB I brought from the USA. Greetings!

One of nine caches located in the Rotorua area today after my Canopy Tours experience (zip lining, etc) this morning and Redwood Treewalk this afternoon. After our ‘official’ treewalk we took the geohound for a walk amongst the trees with the intention of picking up a few caches. Took a moment or two to locate this one. #5964. TFTC.
we are in Rotorua for a few days visiting places we had never been to or had only visited about 65 years ago with our families ! I had been here before and from memory we only walked in a short way to the stand of the mighty cedars and then walked out again , there was no building etc etc and no high rope trails etc I am sure you didn't go any further than what we went but now you can walk all through the area wonderful ! we walked just the shortest track the red track i think it was and past a couple of caches on the way plus these ones out beside the road on the cycle trail . I loved the 'redwood' toilets structures . see photos.
