I was in the area to check on some other caches, which had to be archived. I decided to open up the area as I will be moving away from the Western suburbs later this year. Collected the cache during my evening walk
I came through here last summer and had a quick look but with so many people around I didn't have much of a chance to linger. At this time of year I almost had the place to myself and was able to make the quick find. Thanks for the cache sharkiefan.
Attempt number 2 for me, brought the little sister to help and found in less than 5 minutes using the hint. Great container, log in good condition. TFTC
This one took us a few attempts because the gps was taking us to the wrong spot. Once I changed sides, found it straight away. Great location to bring the kids!!TFTC!!
The clue saw us onto this one very quickly! We headed off down the Great Ocean Road for a few days for a belated wedding anniversary celebration. The weather was kind and the scenery along the road spectacular. We based ourselves in Lorne and then tripped around checking out the local places. While we had visited the area some time ago it was great to spend more time exploring the area, and of course the caching.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache sharkiefan.**SKI Pair****
A beautiful sunny day to explore Wyndham Park. At GZ it was a quick and easy find. Off to do the Ad Lab now. TFTC
After a bit of searching and waiting for people to go past Dad quickly found it. We needed the clue though. This place is amazing. Thanks for bringing us here.
Grabbed lunch nearby before heading to the zoo. Went for these cache great little walk after lunch although its HOT today! Beautiful little park, just watch out for the people camping by the river. They were clearly having sex in their tent as we crossed the river! Tftc and hello from the USA.
Took my GPS so long to settle here and ended up finding GZ using geosenses more than GPS. TFTC!
A quick find using the hint on this beautiful day. Thanks for placing the cache sharkiefan.
Found it but forgot a pen so its a photo log. The photo isnt a spoiler but look with caution
bunadoorian found this one while I was taking a photo of n0w0rries and the big robot! TFTC and for bringing us here sharkiefan.
A lovely sunny start to Australia Day, and an event to celebrate in Werribee.Arrived a bit early for the event so I walked the park to find a few trads to warm up with.Didn't have to do much crawling around to find this one. Thanks, Robmc.
A day out with Geoturtle37 and a couple of her grandies.A busy morning in the park with lots of activities and some sort of festival to celebrate Australia Day. But a quick find between muggles. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, sharkiefan ~~
A nice easy find after some help from Surefoot24. All the muggles were being distracted by the entertainment. TFTC.
Good quick find here after attending the CO's nearby Aussie Day event. Log signed and then off for another close by.Thanks for this one sharkiefan.....
I was in the area completing an Adlab and this cache was on my way back to my car. A good spot for a hide and a really comprehensive hint. A nice park here that was being well utilised today. Thanks for the cache.
Didnt take us too long- had never been here before but its a lovely park! Thanks for taking us here!
Find number 12691 at 12:09:49pm on Monday the 20 November 2023Heading over to Werribee to meet up with gmj3191 to do some geocaches around the area. Looking forward to doing some short walks to stretch the legs and grab some smilies along the way. This was almost a quick find this morning, we went around in circles several times and Geoff eventually made the find.**Thanks for placing this cache sharkiefan**---If you are looking for some new caches to find, explore the nominees for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. The Nominations Geocaching List is available [here](https://coord.info/BMC8QYR)!Voting is now closed for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards and the awards event will be posted soon
Find # 8,442 for me on 20 Nov 2023 at 12:09 pm. Caching around the You Yangs - Werribee area with BernieH. Thanks sharkiefan, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
found this cache today on my Mega Geocaching Walk #9 - A 28,000 step walk around Werribee. I had planned to head up to the north west at the end of my trip here today but after finding the next nearest lab and so on, I had all of a sudden found myself on this loop first. This park was definitely not here as it is the last time that I was in Werribee. A prickly reach in for this one. Thanks from D B-A
After a CITO at Cobbledicks Ford I headed in towards Werribee for fuel, lunch and some caches in the Wyndham LGA as I haven't been caching in this area. Under threatening skies, I went for a wander around this park... and had to try and dodge the rain as I hunted out this cache... easily found if you look far enough in...Thanks **sharkiefan** for putting this cache here.
I am starting to lose the plot. I stood and stared at rocks for 20 minutes, knowing what I was looking for, but not being able to spot it. Then I come here.
My GPS had me looking at "a corner", but not the right one. There's very fine items in the right one, but all of them very real.
Got there in the end, but starting to think I'm too tired and hungry to continue.
Nonetheless, thanks heaps for the cache!

*Cache find # 14996.*
Today I headed out to find a few TDOC23 caches, I was intending on starting in Werribee and working my way back to Williamstown, but I ended up staying in Werribee as there were a fair few caches to find around the area that I had not found.
I parked the car and headed off on a stroll around the area, stopping by the caches that I had not found, this being one of them, I had 2 goes at this one, the first time, there were too many muggles about to have a good look, I was only seeing real stuff, not fake but on my return for the second look, this time the cache was found and the log was signed.
**Thanks to sharkiefan for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

Taking advantage of the fantastic winter sunny day we headed up to Werribee to enjoy some local caching .
On our last visit here there was a gardener working nearby so we gave this one a miss. Today, even though there were many people out walking enjoying the unseasonable weather, we were able to make the find.
Thanks sharkiefan for the placement.

I had come to the west side today in order to celebrate and find the first cachemas cache, [ThePacman's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=613f235b-0d1d-4bd3-ba3e-1dbcc5779bb8&wid=b71c409a-98af-474f-9072-32432cfba971&ds=2) [TDOC23: "Nature Walk" Wherigo (GCA20BA)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA20BA_tdoc23-nature-walk-wherigo).
After completing that Wherigo I remembered that the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=34aa4c48-9615-4751-ae99-44e63866e71c&wid=183df73d-9626-4af1-8d54-7d078e9b9079&ds=2) had somewhat recently published [The Wyndham Shire Challenge (GCA9GZB)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA9GZB).
Now challenge caches are definitely my favourite type of cache, and with this new challenge being published and me not being qualified for it. I figured I would spend the rest of my time in the west trying to find caches in the [Wyndham Shire LGA](https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/) in order to work on qualifying for the challenge.
Well after a fairly successful caching run in the area I was only one cache away from actually qualifying for the challenge! Well by this time the sun had completely set and I had to do this one in the dark.
I originally passed by this one as GZ was still fairly busy, but on my approach back the area was free. I am not sure if the darkness made this one tougher or my phone, but I spent the longest time searching for this one. Originally my phone homed me into a beacon almost 15M away from GZ.
Well after spending way to long searching in the wrong spot, I ended up resorting to checking the hint.
*Ah.. okay...*
Armed with the hint, I thought I was then started looking in the correct spot. Well turns out I was not lol. I was still checking on the wrong side of the hint location.
*Wow, I guess I didn't think my phone would be that off!*
So after exhausting all of the beacons on the wrong side of the hint location, I then made my way to the other side. This allowed me that have a more targeted search, but there was a fair amount of rubbish on the ground on this which made it a bit harder to sort through. However, after a perfect opportunity for a bit a CITO, I was able to clear the area and eventually make the find!
*Woo hoo!*
With that find I was finally able to qualify for the challenge! I will definitely have to search for it on my next trip to the area!
I ended up finding [Brad's Dodge Charger Trackable (TB566D9)](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=86746c93-3e0f-418c-a306-0388b1e4c6a1) in a previous cache today, but due to this cache being a micro, I will just dipped it in this one and keep it moving.
A big thanks goes to [sharkiefan](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=34aa4c48-9615-4751-ae99-44e63866e71c&wid=183df73d-9626-4af1-8d54-7d078e9b9079&ds=2) for the fun this evening. TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The inner and outer cache containers were in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Gps led me astray but the hint brought me back on track

A lovely park and a perfect day for muggle free geocaching with cold, wind and rain.
Found with new geo brother SpursNorth and a reluctant LNBH. Thanks for the hide!

I caught the train to Geelong. Because I could.
And then spent the day in the back with the staffy while n0w0rries +Wife and I cached the peninsula.
Which goes some way to explaining how I wound up in Werribee, even though the trains from Sleepy Hollow don't go through here any more.
So I went for a walk through Wyndham Park.
Now, this evening at dusk, there were a lot of families still here, with kids playing under the watchful eyes of their mothers. Nobody was looking my way as I retrieved this cache; in fact, a good number of sets of eyes were fixed firmly to the west.
A cheeky hide, sharkiefan.

12:04, 6 April, 2023. #2034.
After a session at Eagle Stadium, one of us decided that was as close to the little cluster of unfounds (by us) in Wyndham Park as we were going to get this month. I duly detoured through Werribee on the way home and went for a little walk.
The weather and timing were both good today, with not many muggles around and the sun still shining on a day forecast for developing showers. It was a short and pleasant walk from the Riverside car park, with a nice space clear of muggles around GZ.
There weren’t many options for hiding spots and thanks to a quick identification of the target, the cache was very quickly found.
The cache is in good condition.
SL. TFTC sharkiefan.

Been here previously so had an idea. Was here for the ‘lit’ show. So got this before the crowds. TFTC
#3574 Second of four traditional finds while Adventure Labbing in Werribee. Found after a short search. TFTC
GT37 made a nice quick find here. Shame her shoelaces were undone on her footwear. Thanks for the cache.
We are back in Werribee for another stint at the airport, and were pleased to see this cache was still in place, but apparently a little too well hidden by the previous finders when we DNFed it, since we looked in the exact spot the hide is located. Pleased to turn this cache boldly hidden in a very popular park into a smiley.
The combination of the natural camo and the fake should keep this cache in play for many others to find.
TFTC sharkiefan and for your prompt attention in checking on it

The cache is there. It was VERY well rehidden. I have updated the hint. Cache on!
Fleabag- and I both had some spare time today and I was also getting my car serviced so while that was happening we headed west mainly for a calendar day for a virtual for Fleabag-. After that we grabbed a few random trads and some adventure labs.
We looked on the lower and upper levels for a few locations matching the hint but no find was made.
Thanks sharkiefan for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Our for a walk in this great park I've come to know well over the past eight fire seasons working at Avalon Airport.
Excited to see some new caches appear since last summer, but no luck here this morning.
A significant amount of pruning has occured in some garden beds, so I hope the cache is still intact and we just missed it.
Will try again tomorrow.

Second visit and today we found it! Now for kids to burn off some energy at the park
Another excellent cache, which did not take long to find. Wyndham Park is lovely, with its sculptures and dinosaur feet and a film crew running around, getting in the way of my caching. Bah. Caching is far more important than filming, everyone knows that.
Thanks sharkiefan for bringing us here. It's a beautiful spot. The Werribee River is running riot today (but not flooding thank goodness). At GZ a quick find using the hint. TFTC
A quick find, out for the day with Snips and Co. We started at Port Melbourne but a couple of FTFs brought us out here.
Thanks for taking us to this well maintained little park. I had a quick look for this one the other day while doing the adventure lab. I couldn’t see it today I same back with a fresh set of eyes read the hint and found the right corner I soon had the prize in hand. Favourite point added
Out and about on a pleasant Sunday afternoon with bogonghazy with geo put Geo to do a few Aventure Labs and caches along the way. BH called the magic word and the log was signed and we were off to find another. Thanks sharkiefan
Found with Sorceysal on a nice Sunday morning with geopuppy Geo. Thanks again sharkiefan
Mate found this a while ago and pointed me in the wrong direction. Found it once I read the log and saw the location has been updated. Tricky hide for people that haven’t cached before I’d say.
We found a hole where we assumed the cache must have been, but the container wasn’t there
Updated coords and replaced the container. All good to go. Bridge may skew accuracy but the hint should be enough

We took the geo-pup for an adventure in Hoppers and Werribee today and picked up a couple of caches by the Werribee River. Wyndham Park is a nice area that we haven't been to before, and plan to come back to do some more exploring when we have more time.

After the drive from home it was time for a walk to stretch the legs. So after completing the AdLab heading back through the park grabbing the trads.
Always helps when you have the right side... spent way too long scratching around the wrong side.
With the park to my self i had all the time in the world to keep checking the wrong side before finally changing sides and taking all of 3seconds to get my hands on the cache. Well that was a great way to spend a few minutes in the park..... lol.

CuteOtter and I went with Wombatmother to see the upgrades to this park and find the labs. Nice hide. All dry which is more than I can say for us. Forecast said rain at 3pm - turns out it was correct and we had to seek shelter at the emu feet. Dropped off a TB.
I went down, then up, then down. Then I read previous logs and found it quite easily in the end.

How convenient to have a traditional cache in the location of a adventure lab, great planning sharkiefan.
Cheers for the cache.
