I am spending the day finding the rest of the series. TFTC.

Time to reap the rewards of some Nerdle solving last night, I'd done all but 5 or 6 so good to get them all done in preparation. All good here and replaced as found.Anzac Day is always a special day and today was no exception. I was home alone, and will be for a wee while, so headed out alone to the Marton dawn ceremony with an 0540 gather and 0550 march-off. A nice turn-out, and the weather was kind and the speeches and formalities well-done and modest in their length. This set the day nicely for a viist to my daughter's prior to the annual Popmac Event. All of this was washed down with a trip to the Wairarapa for some Maths lessons and other treats. I intend to spend tomorrow getting swiftly onto some swifty caches then swoop up what is in scope before heading home.Thanks to all COs for their efforts and ongoing maintenance.

This Was the last of this section of Geo caches before we had our lunch. It was pleasing to see i qualified for this cache . What a day and it was only half of the series plus the math journey puzzle caches and we had wonderful weather for the whole day . We left Palmerston North at 8.00 a.m. visited Eketahuna on the way and then onto Masterton for another 4 caches before heading to the Maths journey cache around Dalefield area etc. we found all of these plus a couple of others but some were full of water or very rusty. We had lunch at Dalefield school before heading down to Greytown for several more caches and then we set out on the bigger run with these Nifty Swifty caches that we had solved . We had not solved them all but had plenty of caches to do for the afternoon before we started on the return thro Gladstone , Masterton and Home to Palmerston North . We only had 2 DNF's One i am sure has dropped down the bank , another we were just not clever enough " so we did not know where we parked the car !" Thank you .

On a road trip with HS to find as many of this series as possible. A stunning Waiarapa day, with no hint of having to don on gumboots. HS commented on how dry the countryside is. Thank you NZ_B for putting together this challenging series.

Had completed this puzzle a while ago, but ran out of time to collect the cache when last visiting Greytown. At least today is a bit warmer, even with drizzle, but better than the frost. Thanks to the CO for a great series, and placing in rural Wairarapa.

And here we are at the end of our Math Journey. What a wonderful journey thank you NZ_B - that includes the satisfaction of the solving (especially the ones that were more challenging), the introduction to Nerdle and of course your company as you navigated us around the lovely countryside. Now off for a well deserved lunch at the Deli - haven't been there since I used to work up here over 10 years ago. This was a series of puzzles that started off easy enough, but got progressively more difficult, with a few curve-balls thrown in. I had great fun working my way through them (although some took a bit of lateral thinking!)
This weekend, I've been in Greytown with a group of fellow cachers, at the hospitality of the CO, for the Mid-Winter Festival. It's been cold and wet, but that hasn't dampened spirits. This afternoon, TwigNZ, Itchyfeet2020, Mr McGoo, and myself set out to find all the caches of the Maths Series, plus a few others. Signed as TIMM.
This was our first for the series, and a quick find. All good in the container. Returned as found, and on to the next. Tftc!

(# 8004) Up in the Wairarapa for a weekend to catch up with caching friends and a touch of caching, and the winter festival. The primary goal was to get the solved Math's Series. Solved this shortly after publication and put aside until the right time.

I'm spending the weekend with friends in Greytown, in order to take in the sights, sounds and tastes of the Greytown Festival of Christmas. It seems odd to be eating ice cream in the middle of winter, but I can certainly recommend the Mulled Gin to warm you up again afterwards lol!

Of the 6 of us for the weekend, 4 of us have banded together to hit the Maths Series of puzzle caches and a few other caches around that area. All logs were accordingly signed as T.I.M.M for TwigNZ, Itchyfeet2020, Matagouri and Mr-Mcgoo.

I was introduced to Nerdle by the CO before this series of caches came out, so I was able to solve them all pretty quickly. I have been waiting for a suitable moment to come and find them, and decided that I had waited long enough. Knowing I would be in good company was the deciding factor here, and turned out to be a great decision with a great deal of hilarity and tomfoolery had along the way. Definitely exactly what I needed for the weekend.

This was a quick find, even without knowing that the co-ords I had were now 8m out. No problems with the log etc and we were soon back on our way to the next one.

A few wellie cachers have come over the hill to enjoy the weekend and the Wairarapa mid winter festival. The Maths series was great fun to solve not long after release - I would pick one a night and set about the get the solve. The solved series has been sitting in the 'well I might need it one day' pile for to long. I was in the Rapa, other cachers with me also had not collected this series and well it was just time to complete it and say thanks to the CO for a fun series. With TwigNZ as driver, matagouri and Mr McGoo as fellow team mates we accepted the adventure on a over cast increasingly cold winters day. All good here to start us off on a cold winters day. From memory this one was before we decided on the team name TIMM (TwigNZ, Itchyfeet2020 (aka I wonder if I just get invited because I am a vowel), matagouri and MrMcGoo. TFTC NZ_B.

A day in the Wairarapa today beginning in Featherston, then onto Martinborough, over to Carterton and behind then down to Greytown for the night. 18 Ad labs, 22 trads, 22 mystery and 1 multi, 4 muggled out so didn't look and only one DNF.

Seemed to be following Just-Lookin today as all the Maths Journey puzzles seemed to have already been signed today.

I was over the Wairarapa for a family gathering and worked on this series yesterday in the hope that I could collect them on my way home.

Maths was never my strongest subject at school and I certainly had to think hard about how to solve a few of these and so was pleasantly surprised/shocked to solve the whole series.

The caches were all quick finds and I collected them in a short space of time. The countryside around here is lovely, especially this time of year when the autumn leaves are falling.

On a caching trip with Lis'screw and staying in Greytown I was keen to get this series as I had solved them some time ago. I really enjoyed the puzzles and some did make the brain bend a bit. A pleasant rural drive around - we got chauffeured, although the weather was a bit grey (is that why it is called Greytown ). Caches were all in good condition and easy to find. TFTC.

@peadub sat down and did the math for 9 caches in this series, and off we headed to the Wairarapa. A nice easy find on a lazy, sunny ANZAC Day. TFTC.

Travelling today in convoy with Team Welsh, initially going from Dannevirke to Greytown, and then back north and over the hill to Palmerston North. A long eventful day, with plenty of caches found (69 for us).We had not come across this kind of maths puzzle before, but we are Wordle fans so soon got the hang of these. We very much enjoyed solving them, thanks. Today to make the finds with Team Welsh we drove around in one car for ease of parking. Nice use of features in the real world that suited the topic.

This was our main reason for visiting Greytown area with Kiwicouple today. Some I outsourced to my maths group at school, some I solved my self and some were quite tricky but determination to complete the series was all the impetus that was needed. A plan was hatched to sign off the series in one car to save any awkward parking issues. All was well with the caches in the series and love the way some of the hiding spots fitted the theme. Thanks for putting it all together.

Found on a day trip targeted at the Maths Journey series and a few other stragglers nearby that I hadn't found to date. Managed to find the Maths series at a rate of 12/hr, so it was all done in just over 1.5hrs, leaving plenty of time for the extra caches I had my eye on.

Over the Wairarapa today with tylerdrummond trying to knock off a few Ad-labs and some mysteries we have solved.
Number 20 for us today and our 18th and final cache (including our DNF on #2) of this Maths Journey series.
We enjoyed solving these puzzles as they were something new to us and not over the top hard (we are slow west coasters).
Also the whole setup of this series using Certitude (which is also new to us) was very enjoyable and worked really well for us.

I like geoart, but so often when I get to do them the art is not complete. This one is! So a favourite for the last of the series - which for me is this one.

Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Today we Cruised from Lower Hutt to Greytown. Rain threatened but did not eventuate.

Puzzles and maths are not on my list of favorite things, but I was lured in by the geo art and knew we'd be in the area at some stage, so set about solving them. Actually it wasn't too hard once I got my head around the concept.
Finding enough room to pull the campervan over was a little tricky in places, but it's a lot easier with two people, so that one can drive and one can jump in and out.

Been working in Masterton this week and had today off. Headed down to Greytown to collect this series. We solved this soon after it came out. When I say we I suspect it was actually Mrs Rubbishparty as she is a maths teacher. Found the whole series without difficulty. Nice to have some straight forward finds particularly as it started drizzling half way through. All the logs had pretty of room for sighing. Thanks Ethness for this bit of geoart and the smileys.

With nothing notable here I found myself stopping in rather random spot with guidance from the satnav. Had a look at the phone and, yep, this cache is a few metres away. There's only place I can imagine it being and it was indeed there. TFTC. What WAS notable though is that this find marks the completion of the series for me. I've never done so much roadside caching in all my time as a geocacher and it was only the nominal completion of a series that drove me to persist in finding them all. The puzzles were source of amusement though which I think is fair to acknowledge.

This was one of the puzzles in the series that I didn't need to spend much time on.

After taking part in an orienteering event this evening, I decided there was time for a few cache searches before heading home. With there being a large audience of moogles at this site, I was keen not to make a fool of myself and was pleased to quickly get my hands on the treasure.

Flowerydaze and I decided to take a trip over the Wairarapa mainly to do the ones by this owner and the Math Series. So here we are on a nice spring day picking up the caches which we had solved and some which were trads. Thanks for the puzzle and placing the cache here NZ_B

Almost reached the last Maths Journey cache, and it's been an enjoyable exercise. Talla64 and I had made a plan to come over to the Wairarapa for a couple of days in search of caches, in particular the ones put out by this CO. The main aim was the Maths Journey of which this was one. A quick find, thanks for the puzzle and for the cache NZ_B.

I visited GZ today and he cache is missing and I have replaced it, 8 metres from the original final coordinates. The final coordinates have been updated in certitude, but if you solved the maths problem before 03/09/2022, the new hint will help you find the new location quickly.

I have been told this cache is missing. I will be checking it on the afternoon of Saturday 3 September.

I solved this series of maths problems a month or so. They consist of 13 Nerdles, 2 algebra problems, 1 simultaneous equation, 1 internet search test, and a puzzle that could be solved as an algebra problem but was better solved as a lateral thinking problem.

I come over to the Wairarapa from Wellington reasonably often, but I don't usually have time for geocaching while I'm here. Today I managed to put aside a few hours so was a good opportunity to find this solved series. The weather this winter has been very very wet so I was a little apprehensive about how the conditions were going to be this morning - in general it wasn't too bad. There were a few times when I had to stay parked on the road because I didn't want to risk getting stuck in a boggy grass shoulder but that wasn't a problem because the roads were quiet and the finds were quick.

My last of the 18 today. The drizzle was getting heavier and there was a bit of traffic around (well, more than I've seen so far), so I didn't have an exhaustive look, but if it's there it's a lot better hidden than all the others in the series.

Day out with BFG in the Wairarapa. Loved the concept of the math's wordle puzzles. although did get a little repetitive after the 10th one. The first bunch of cache locations had no safe parking. Most of the locations were arbitrary roadside poles, fences, shrubs and was really disappointed as was looking forward to a good set of caches. Never the less another 18 smiley's achieved. Thanks for the series and caches. Last cache of the maths series and glad to have this area cleared out (probably for now)

One of my sons in Whangarei is going on an OE. He sold his car to his brother Tim in Dunedin and fortunately for me Tim wanted me to drive the car down. Of course I jumped at the idea of a geocaching roadie. I've had lots of puzzles solved for such a long time so geoarts were the main target of the trip.

In Palmy area I wanted the shield series and the 20/20 geoart. Then Wairarapa was stickman (which we ran out of time for), the new M geoart and some archived skindo challenges. Wellington was finishing off the kiwi geoart. Nelson I had a few challenges I wanted before heading to Christchurch. It was family time there and perhaps the smile series but time ran out again. Off to Dunedin for the airplane geoart. Then it was time to fly home to say goodbye to my son heading to Denmark.

It was great to have my friend Supernanny come along on the trip for company. We had a wonderful trip and fantastic weather apart from one afternoon. Now it's time to start writing the massive backlog of logs. It might take a while.

Glad to be able to pick this series up so soon after publication. I'd seen a note on the NZ geocaching page talking about new caches to be published in the area. I happened to look just a week or so before my trip and was delighted to see this Geoart. I quickly solved them and sent them to friends who I knew would also enjoy solving them.

This puzzle series were all easy solves for me as I have a maths brain. This one I solved correctly on the third line. The cache was a quick find here. Thanks for the fun series

I enjoyed solving all the puzzles. Made slightly hard work of a couple due to my inability to read the instructions correctly. Found them all today on a fine but rather blustery afternoon.

#11,182. I solved this series of puzzles 2 weeks ago but was not able to get over here until today. I enjoyed using that online tool to guess and logic my way to a solution. Managed to solve all fairly quickly except one which seemed impossible to solve. Until I realised I had extra symbols I could use for that puzzle! The weather forecast for this weekend was not great but seemed there might be a small window of fine weather on the Sunday morning. So headed over the hill for a mornings caching. The paddocks were wet with pools of water so clearly been a bit of rain fall here lately.

I found all the caches were placed in good spots to park and usually there was one likely place to check first. The waterproof paper is working well despite the rainfall of late. Several of the mint tins had fallen out from the signs so might need to be tied on or something. I pushed a rock in by one tin to stop the wind blowing it out. I liked the maths connection to some of the hiding spots. Hopefully you will forgive the generic logs for these. Braces, signboards and cabbage trees blur into one another when you do 18 caches in 90 minutes. Thanks Ethness (or should that be NZ_B?) for taking the time to set up this series of fun Maths puzzles and hide them in areas that skindo would be proud of. Looking forward to seeing more of your creations now that you have ticked off Number 65!

Interesting numbers and algebra … additive and simple multiplicative strategies, using words, diagrams, and symbols, with an understanding of equality … Thanks to Davidson123Clan’s note to confirm that the standard pro nerdle rule of “It must only have a number to the right of the “=”, not another calculation” does not necessarily apply to all puzzles in this series. Fortunately GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

We had seen these puzzle caches published last week and we worked together to solve them all in anticipation of this trip. So we were pleased to finally start collecting the cache finals. Not all of the puzzles were easy but they were enjoyable. TFTPC

After having solved all of this series during the week I came for a drive today with Mrs agcnz to find and log them. A very satisfying clean sweep and all were 2TFs. A quick and easy find here. Last one in the series for me, very satisfying. Signed log, TFTC

Yet another (third in a row) in a series of random road trips around the country. This weekend brings me up to Napier via Palmerston North on Saturday and back home to Wellington via the Wairarapa on Sunday. With only a few real life commitments in between I had plenty of spare time for targeting some specific caches along the way. Some were selected to help me with my various geocaching goals, some were such fun puzzle solves that I just had to come and sign the log, and some are just because. This cache is one of them.
