Quick find. Nice hole for a cache! GPS is an interesting thing - I had to go to the count down rather then the direction - had me going the wrong way!! Tftc!!
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Planning on exploring the suburbs of Lalor Park, Kings Park, Marayong, Glenwood, The Ponds, Rouse Hill, Scheyville, Agnes Banks, Yarramundi, Hawkesbury Heights, and Castlereagh. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some more Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some more "units of fuel" for the "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge with a view to scoring the 100 point Ultra fuel souvenir. Our final day will have us going via Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside, for some more caching and a visit to the Nurragingy Miniature Railway, before taking the M7 & M2 Motorways back to home. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 2) our first mission for the day was to log our 7000th Milestone find with a Mystery/MultiCache at historic Scheyville, followed by a nearby previously solved Mystery/Puzzle, which sadly ended with a DNF. Then it was a drive over to Agnes Banks for a MultiCache, followed by a drive up Springwood Road to Hawkesbury Heights, collecting numerous Traditional caches and Adventure Lab stages along the way. Ended our day with a drive down Castlereagh Road for a Traditional cache and an Adventure Lab stage. This was the 5th of 20 finds for the day (day 2), and 21st find of the holiday. After picking up a couple of Adventure Lab stages we next arrived at this cache at Camp Yarramundi. Headed over to GZ and made a nice quick find in the first place we checked. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC WaywardWoman, and happy International Geocaching Day to everyone Find #7004
A quick midweek caching day. Only a few of those each year, so better make the most of it by driving all the way to Penrith and the lower blue mountains.TFTC Wilbert67
Hurrah! At last I find one. This one is particularly apt for me as I was one of the young boys who came here for summer camps back in the 1950s yes, that time did exist. There was a mobile speed camera set up just outside the gates. Needless to say, I was not speeding as I was about to stop TFTC.
Stopped in here for a double whammy, after answering the AL waypoint I strolled over to GZ for the findThanks WW for the cache
Our kids had fond memories of Camp Yarramundi. Didn’t realise there’s a cache nearby, easy find
A nice new cache but no FTF. Logged cache and replaced as found.

Decided to have a look for some caches west of the Nepean River with ilook4geo. It was a good day and we found what we looked for without any problem. The hint here was very specific and this made for a quick and easy find. Log was signed and replaced as found. Thanks for this cache placement go to WaywardWoman.
A quick and easy drive-in on our way back to the City.

I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to five months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES! Well, at least I'm currently only a month and a bit behind.
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Headed up Yarramundi way to keep the Caching Calendar Gods happy today. Went for six, including a previous DNF and found them all. HUZZAH!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Any cache specific comments will be added here. Don't hold your breath, though.

I thought I’d stopping for this cache on my way to parkrun at East Richmond this morning, but the sun was in my eyes & I missed Camp Yarramundi.
So searching on the way home it was .
I think my youngest is the only one who has been here, the other two did their school camps in different spots.

Quick find, as first thing I removed revealed the cache!
More luck than judgement

A quick detour on my way from Windsor to Penrith this afternoon brought me to ... a mobile speed camera set up just 20m or so from GZ! Luckily, I wasn't speeding but it stopped me from pulling up, so I had to drive further up the road to do a u-turn and come back to GZ. After that, finding the cache wasn't a problem!
Thanks for the hide WaywardWoman.

We spent a lovely weekend in South West Rocks with friends. Today we had drive home, but after a weekend of micros, I detoured here to drop off some travel bugs.
