Logs
We planned to visit Mt Taranaki today but hadnt realised how busy it would be on Easter Sunday, and how limited car parking was. After waiting in a queue of cars for some time we gave up and went geocaching instead. This was #3 for the day. The container was wet inside but the new log was ok. TFTC MIOW4, apologies for the late logging.
Enjoying caching on such a fine day.
After having a rest after yesterday afternoon (i.e. sleep) we are raring to cache today. The sun is out and we are happy.
Out and about with LNM1961 revisiting Taranaki and collecting caches.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache MIOW4.

Whilst on a mission to the Naki with ABCDF4, Squirrel Nutcase and Fap ( Fap & Gap), found this cache, i think the others have said it all.TFTC.
With ABCDF4, eyespyben, and Gap (of Fap and Gap)... A planned expedition into the Taranaki region. All logs were signed with our individual handles, or Team HRP (Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa) depending on who accessed the logbook first...
King's Birthday Sunday: It rained heavily overnight, and today was marginally better… Pushing on with the Kiwiana trail today - No problem identifying the hint but the logbook needed replacing. Thanks MIOW4. TFTC.

We are very fortunate to have chosen a really lovely day here in the 'Naki to be completing this series. A quick find and we were off to the next one. TFTC

Another little geocaching trip north with woolwood9.
We couldn't resist many stops on the way!
SL *tm/ww NZ*
Really appreciate the effort put into this cache trail.
*Thank you MIOW4 for adding to our enjoyment!*
ww9 & I visited all (current) ones in this series over the 3 days we were in the area.
Generally quick easy finds, a few with wet logs but mostly in good condition.
This trail was the main reason for our visit to New Plymouth and surrounding towns.

Heading off for a long weekend to New Plymouth with tmann421.
The Naki put on perfect weather for us.
Some wonderful caches found and great sites seen.
All logs signed tm/ww NZ
Thanks to the cache owners, without their efforts this game would not be possible.

Straightforward find but log wet to try and sign. Sorry, I had no replacement with me. Thanks MIOW4
Luckily no over-stimulating drink was needed to find this cache! (Can't stand the stuff myself). Had problems signing the log as it was wet through - sorry, not able replace log today. TFTC
First cache of the year! I wonder if I can beat last years record of finds or not. Well I’m off to a good start that’s for sure. I’ll have to come back for a walk up here and maybe give this some maintenance. Vege bag is absolutely sodden and I could squeeze the water out of it. But as my car was awkwardly parked I couldn’t spend much time here fixing/drying it out. TFTC and Happy New Year MIOW4
A quick find here on the first day of 2023. Thanks for placing this convenient cache here for us.
Now on the return trip i thought i would visit the other caches here numbers 11 , 12 , and , 17 , 18 , 20 , 19, 21 .
they were all straight forward but i am sure on my first trip past i visited another cache which was all wet and at the time i didn't have another water proof paper log strip. and now re checking it out i see where they are and so are logged today . all a bit muddled actually .
thanks for these new caches i took nothing and left nothing .

Haven't been out geocaching for a while so out we went on an overcast and at times foggy afternoon. A quick and straight forward find, TFTC
Not much room to pull the campervan over, so mr rattll stayed in the van, while mrs rattll jumped out for a quick find.
Thanks for setting this up
Thanks for setting this up
Easy find. Log was wet, found a plastic bag in the car to put the log in. Fingers crossed it protects it abit.
I had driven past this on the way up the road but knew there was "other things" to collect up here so I got a few if them and these caches as well. The area around this was a bit water bogged and the log book was a bit wet.
Been in New Plymouth for a few days for a ten pin blowing tournament. Time to find some of Kiwiana series on my way home. Thanks MIOW4 for the cache.
Found with Juliusfamily. There is blackberry hiding in the long grass which gave me a surprise
3rd n final {FTF} for the morning, looking forward to completing the whole series.
