A cache with a wee walk - just my kinda cache! Easy find and a great spot for a cache TFTC
I decided once we were settled into camp that this would be an excellent time to grab a cache. I started my walk and at about 20% of the way up the hill realised Jandalls might not have been the best choice for this assent. Once I was there it was a very quick and easy find. I left some swaps as I figured this is likely to attract family cachers and kiddie cachers. TFTC the contents were nice and dry.
Enjoyed a walk up Boot Hill today after parking at the bottomMuggle Kev thinks he will. Enjoy to come bacl with his bike. Quick find once at the top. Thanks for the cache
Our last cache in Alex today. Clambered up the hill and it was nice and quiet with no one else about. Cache all good. TFTC
TFTC. Quick find on a morning run. Nice to see such a decent sized and dry container. Shame about the dog poo in a bag at GZ...
Staying at the camp down the hill, my neighour in campervan asked where I was going today. I said Naseby, he asked how long does it take to get there... I said 7 hours lol. Then I explained geocaching to him, and realized there was one up the hill.
Walked in from main road, my first and last one in Alex this trip. Cheers.

We meandered our way up the hill to a quick easy find. We didn't encounter any zooming mountain bikers, in fact nobody at all. TFTC
There are a lot of tracks leading to this cache. Couldn't get myself on right track so went straight uphill following the GPS. Have biked these tracks a few times and when I found where I was, I had a much quicker walk out. Good cache
(FTF) @ 10.32 with a race between sister AnnieLin and partner, DownSouthInv to see who got it first in hand. I took a more direct up hill route. Thanks BuzzTasman for the warm up on a chilly central otago winters morning. Did not realise there was an old water race here.
Out and about enjoying the history of our country and discovering hidden gems.
