Found with fitzy_1965 whilst in Sydney for a work awards night overnight. This morning, we decided to do some caching whilst we put a bit of charge back in the car. It was nice to wander around the City (even in the sporadic drizzle) and visiting places I hadn't been for a good number of years. We did a slight detour to pick up this one as it has been sitting unfound for a long while now.
Found with minniek during a weekend visit to Sydney.minniek and I are attending a Non-Geocaching Event (a what??) in Sydney this weekend, and we of course grabbed a few caches along the way for International Geocaching Day. After caching for most of the day in Sydney we were heading home when another of the neat The Dilly caches appeared on the map. Having solved this one we diverted out to it for a quick find. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off towards home. Thanks The Booos !! This was our first weekend away with our new Electric Vehicle, and this side trip nearly caused a problem, but now we know how to use those EV chargers at the Service Centres
After spending yesterday leaping around Sydney, I'm heading to Canberra today but I'm getting a little sidetracked along the way. A straightforward find here ... and all is well with the cacheThanks for the hide Booos.
Having solved this puzzle I was passing GZ this morning and made a quick find, thanks.
One of the easier Dilly puzzles to solve and find. Signed and replaced. All quiet at gz. Tftc
Found It!Another puzzle that I solved last year before finally getting to the final location today. The trip there ended up taking a little longer since the road was closed due to a fire but after a little detour, I got there I spotted the cache after a short search!TFTC
accompanied with ALL7, nicely solved well before going to Sydney for the funeral.. enjoyed a day's drive on the country road.
Arrival at GZ, pleased coords spot, signed the log with ALL7.

Literally a drive-by PnG. Had to be careful dodging bees and some spikey foliage though.
After solving this one some time ago and now have found it. Another Dilly done.
Picked up while passing on the old road to Campbelltown. Great little pull offf.
Thanks The Booos for the hide.

(4 of 9 today - including 3 Adventure Labs)
This is actually the first calendar day on which I have less than 20 finds. So since I have a goal of 25 finds per calendar day by 2025, it was a must to make some finds today. Pity it was so hot!
Decided to head south east to Camden and surrounds to try to clean up some unfound caches. Unfortunately, I came up short at two locations - one DNF and another DNOpen!
Ah well. Just gives me a reason to return for more!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Headed further south and arrived at this one - which I solved a while ago.
For the second time today I missed it on first look. At least it only took a second look this time to spot the obvious.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Onwards.

Out on a Lake Illawarra SES clean up mission today. Found on my return journey, mainly to avoid the boring Hume Highway run.

We found the cache in the last place we looked.
We headed into the flooded eastern states for a week of geocaching fun. The mission was Frying Pan. The only December 2000 placed cache remaining in Australia. All other choices for this month are international. Traveling in style and comfort we selected the next cache on merit and forward movement. Some back tracking was required in the wettest areas. Wildlife seen included a lyre bird, king parrot and a single leech. Mozzies were a pest. Caches were found and signed. Wet logs were wet. Water does that. Numerous TOTTs were employed.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to NSW and back with Freddo.
Our main target was ‘Frying Pan’ in the Chichester State Forest, near Barrington Tops north of Newcastle.
We allowed ourselves a week to travel there and back, taking a circuitous route through Victoria and NSW, camping each night and finding a range of caches of interest along the way.
Rains over the past few months meant a few detours along the way and plenty of water about, restricting access to some caches and camping areas. Many of the roads were quite chopped up with potholes and the mosquitoes were plentiful! But we had a good run with the weather, with just the odd shower, but mostly fine, warm and overcast.
Thanks The Booos for the puzzle and the cache.

Back in the same area as Saturday to finish off a few loose ends. Quick and successful.

#6570- Out can hing with thomo31. By now, I am getting much better at jigsaws, so this one was pretty quick. Once the GPS settled it was a quick find. Thanks
Since I had met up with a friend for a walk around Picton Botanical Gardens I decided to do a spot of caching nearby before I went home.
I have driven past a few times since I solved this one but it was always dark. Today found a good parking spot and coords were spot on. This is a great container. Thanks

I'm enjoying working through this series. Out and about around The Dilly today with GeodogZelda, I found this as the heavens opened and we got soaked. A quick find at GZ. We spotted the subject of the photo while signing the log. TFTC
Another weekend outing, more as a reason to get away from the obsessive computer addicted children.
"Go outside and play" used to be the thing to do, but what does an old timer like me know?
Thanks for the cache.

Once I got the GPS to go to the right spot this was a quicker than expected find thanks to the good size hide.

After solving the 3 Dilly puzzles – to date. I decided seeing that rain was expected later this afternoon try to collect these 3 caches. So wearing my new Geocaching cap (thanks Meritonnn) I headed out . On arriving at GZ the coordinates were pointing me in the direction of the hint . Wasn't long before this lovely cache was spotted . A type I haven't seen before , wondering if it was homemade . The horse looked up at me as I arrived and came over to say hello. By the way if you are after eggs you can buy some local fresh ones at the property nearby . TFTC Booos
What a great way to spend a sunny Sunday, of which there hasn't been many of late; get out with frazeydaze from the inner burbs and into the rural countryside and find some of The Booos family caches.
Our target today was to carry on with the GFA Series from Booo Booo which we thought we had completed on our last visit to the area, only to be advised by Booo Booo that there was more to come. Woohoo. After these caches we proposed to head south to the three solved puzzle caches in The Dilly series by The Booos.
What lovely countryside around here and whilst I was admiring frazeydaze was a finding.

Out caching with oldmorty on this glorious day. Nice and warm, although a little windy.
Quickly spotted.

FTF at 0647, full log shortly.
Full log:
When this popped up last night I was pleased to see the series title but didn't even open the email. Then I ended up having to be awake and sitting around near my computer at 0100, and thought that a Jigidi was as good a way to pass the time as any. 10 minutes to build the edge, 10 to build the horse and rock, 25 to do all the planty bits. That happened to be about the amount of time I needed to fill, too. So I updated the coordinates and turned off the computer.
It wasn't until I got into bed a little later that I realised I didn't actually know where the cache was. I opened the app and discovered that it was almost on my way to work. I figured I could afford to be a few minutes late this morning.
Less than 5 hours later I pulled up opposite the cache. A very appropriate little landmark for a series with this name. I immediately had two ideas for a hiding spot, checked the second one first, and spied a Booos-y looking container. After fiddling with the logbook for a minute (it was dark, I thought the front was two sheets stuck together...) I had a signature in place, cache in place, and was back on the road to work. Happy Monday.

Similar to RS256, I completed this in the normal way, except during daylight hours, in an appropriate time of 46min 63.6476 seconds.Aced it. Can’t understand why some some puzzles like this are manipulated to do a quicker solve. A short afternoon drive, before a reach and a find, with a couple of horses neying nearby, hmmm. Tftc
