I have family living quite close by but had never stopped to have a look at this reserve. It looks like wonderful fun for littlies with the mini rail set up and also a nice little playground with equipment. After a bit of a "mexican standoff" between Crusty and myself regarding our counting application we settled our differences and soon had the required information needed. Off we strolled and it wasn't long before Crustyvarmint located the cache. Thanks for the cache Mister Doctor.
At the end of a day chasing some Sidetracked caches, with Redcb and Pilot the dog, we called in here on the way home. This is quite a well developed mini rail setup, and we enjoyed gathering the information and locating the cache. Thanks for this multi cache, Mister Doctor.
I must have miss counted something, so no find today, very busy today so I didn't want stay around too long. Thanks Mister Doctor for at least getting me out here.Greytiger
Went to the playground and there was. O one there so I quickly calculated the coordinates I required. My GPS was about 5m off so I was looking in the wrong place checking the wrong grass trees for too long. I decided to expand my search when u checked something that I dismissed at first then realised it was the cache. OMG Oh well the log is stamped now and I have another sidetracked cache to my collection. Thanks Mister Doctor for the fun
After deciding we were on the wrong side of the creek , the cache was found by aussiejan! Our GPS was a bit out but persistence paid off! Thanks for the cute cache!
Such a great easy puzzle and what a cache! Great design and I nice spot although it took us a while. It's more like a big step of the trail but Tftc mister doctor!
Slightly premature enabling by the reviewer. But the park is open again and I have updated the counting requirements to reflect the new set up.Lets play!
----------###**CACHE OWNER PLEASE NOTE**###----------Thank you for attending to this cache - it indeed lives for another day, however, you still need to Enable the cache. As the Guidelines advise:*Cache maintenance also covers keeping the cache page up-to-date. This includes updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and **enabling the listing.*** You need to post an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to enable your cache. **I have enabled the cache for you on this occasion.**
Well that was weird!I dropped by to see the state of the playground, which looks to be keeping the same configuration as it had but adding extra features, completed late April. The miniature railway was also in operation today, albeit for a private kids birthday party.I then when on to check in on the cache, but after 20 min searching decided it was gone.Walking around and composing a query to previous finders I happened to look up and spy the cache out in the open OVER 100M FROM GZ!!!!Thankfully all was intact, so I returned it snug back home
Playground is currently closed for works so am disabling until access is restored.Edit: Signage says playground improvements will be completed by late April (thanks 12345yeehs)
TwoEms knew back in December 23, that we wanted to collect the souvenir for Leap Day when we read HQs confirmed list of souvenir moments for 2024. So we carefully marked our calendars for the 29th February and waited patiently for Leap Day to arrive. And so it came today24 hoursand like two calm monkeys, we got up early, ate our bananas, and found a cachea mystery solved months agoall before the madness of our days responsibilities set in.It wasnt until the evening, when we were going through a backlog of emails and perchance readrather than deletedHQs email detailing the very souvenir we thought we had confidently pocketed this morning.Oh no, one of us cried out in panic to the other, we need to find FOUR geocaches todaynot one!So in a mad hurry we grabbed our geobag and raced out the door like we were late to the platform, to catch the very last train that wont be back for another FOUR years! Now, we are usually the quality over quantity types, and we dont find the pressure of racing through anything for numbers all that much fun. In fact it makes us grumpy, and impatient, and prone to snapping at each other, so high five to HQ if we break up over this. But we had already invested our morning, andin case you couldnt tellwe were obsessed with getting this souvenir. So whose bright idea was it to do a multi under the slipping sun? It was just asking for trouble; but we had just picked up a ticket nearby and convinced ourselves we needed this ride.We walked to the train-themed playground to get onboard, but when we arrived, there were muggles everywhere. Little ones were running around and climbing over things, and the big ones were chatting and glancing at us every now and again. The mozzies were out, so we pulled out our weapon, a big stick of bug repellent wishing it was muggle repellent; and there we stood liberally rolling it all over us like two loonies, as we discreetly counted the signs, wheels and tracks. We got the numbers, so we waved bon voyage to the suspicious muggles, and then promptly got off the next station. We know this place. One step, true to your word, we found the very effective and neat camouflage. We were happy. We survived a multi, we got our number, we found the hide, but when we opened it, happiness was not going to be enoughwe were exquisitely charmed and delighted!Thank you for the cacheand for the ride.
We couldn't make the clues add up to 6, but still managed to find the cache. All in good condition. Thanks.
Not hard to get the GZ coordinates but due to not reading Mister Doctors (very clear) information properly it took two trips. Embarrassing really. First visit I got wet, scratched and dog pood for no good reason. Second visit, easy. We always wax lyrical about the craftsmanship of MD and this one is no exception. Well done. Lovely work. TFTC
Happy New Year 2024. We wanted to find a special cache to begin the new geocaching year. Despite being less than a km from home we hadn't got around to doing this multi even though we often walk the geobeagles along the nearby bushy creek trail. This was mainly because we are a bit allergic to multis as we get the counting wrong. We also wanted to leave it for a special day and today was that day.We parked in the carpark and wandered over to the playground. We obtained all the numbers, put them in the given formula and the checksum checked out. If we had realised that there wasn't much counting involved we may have done this multi sooner. We then walked the few hundred metres to GZ. After searching a few spots, between intermittent muggles, we found the large cache. Opening it we got a big surprise. What an awesome train diorama. We signed the log at 5:15 pm and then returned the cache to its hiding spot. TNLN.Thanks Mister Doctor for the good multi that may help ease our multi allergy. We really appreciated all the effort and craftsmanship that has gone into creating this cache and the geobeagles enjoyed their walk along the nearby bushy creek trail so this cache definitely gets a fave from us.
Thanks for this one, a great spot for a quiet walk. With reasonably easy maths for a multi.Paul and Brenda.
After attending [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=d1a74c49-5073-4f0e-b9f2-882569af43b3&ds=2) [Santa's Snackdown (GCAGXJT)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCAGXJT_santas-snackdown) event in the city, I remembered that I still needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=6dbc178e-cf55-4705-a97f-435a7b7e6997&ds=2) [WCW - 50% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z58Z)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z58Z).With it stating to get late I decided to look for some lower D/T multis that I could attempt to find, when I remembered this multi. This multi has been on my radar for a little while now, but as the cache page mentions that the posted coordinates were at a playground, and I being a male cacher with facial hair who usually caches alone, I figured it would be best to attempt this one when the playground was almost guaranteed to be empty. So with it being late in the evening I figured now would be the perfect time to attempt this cache. So I hopped in the geomobile and drove over to the [recommended parking coordinates](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=75c16d36-55ba-4fd0-8552-723334270aab&RefID=6c4fad2a-2cc6-4c08-affa-5f6b6e465aa6&RefDS=1). However, even with it being so late in the evening there was still one muggle family playing on the playground. So I continued walking by and figured I could double back in a bit. Of course just when I was almost out of ear shot I heard...*Ok that's enough, time to go home, we can come back this weekend.*So I only had to wait for a minute before they left and I had the whole playground to myself. I was quickly able to obtain the information for **Letters A** and **B**, but I was a bit lost on **C** and **D**. *Well that is until I actually looked down and realised I was standing on it!*So with all the letters gathered I then quickly calculated the coordinates before heading off to GZ.My phone was having a bit of a hard time homing in on the correct beacon, and I had to check a fair few amount of grass plants before the cache was in hand and the logbook signed.A very neat little cache container, unfortunately by the time I had found the cache the sun was setting and so I didn't have the best lighting to be able to appreciate the craftsmanship, but it was neat none the less.A big thanks goes to [Mister Doctor](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=7d33975e-dd45-4386-8e04-c1988ca4e720&wid=6c4fad2a-2cc6-4c08-affa-5f6b6e465aa6&ds=2) for another fun and creative caching experience. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The camo was still present and appeared to be in good shape. The cache container was in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Nice quick find on a beautiful spring afternoon, and a bit special too. Thanks Mister Doctor for your handiwork
All logs signed. Apple maps directed me to the other side of the road at first.
Found by The Empire + H Back in the 'leafy' Eastern Suburbs to finish off some unfinished SideTracked caches... and grab some records on a little Record Safari. The record store, nestled in a cozy corner of Box Hill's bustling streets, was a haven for music enthusiasts. Its window display showcased vintage album covers, and as I stepped inside, the aroma of aged paper sleeves and vinyl greeted me. The shop's walls were adorned with posters of iconic rock and metal bands, setting the tone for my vinyl quest.A quick find here - awesome container, favourite point added. Thanks for cache Mister Doctor.- MSideTracked #31
I took a slight diversion from the bike path today to have a look for this one. A few moments after arriving, I had the run of the place but no matter how hard I checked, I couldn't get the checksum to agree with my results (clearly I hadn't looked hard enough ). Hoping that the 'missing number' wouldn't be a problem, I headed to my GZ and once there, I soon had the very nicely crafted stash in hand at 14:00 (loved the smoke ). Well worth a fave point. TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Mister Doctor.
I was passing close by and thought that I would stop for this multi. On first look, I was one short on the checker count but after finding out which one I was short on, that was soon rectified and the most loveliest of caches was soon found and logged. Thanks from D B-A
It's hockey grand final weekend in Melbourne so I was at Elgar Park to watch a few hockey matches. Before the first game I had time to wander over to the Box Hill Miniature Railway and find this cache.
There were quite a few families enjoying the playground but I just walked through as I did my counting, and recounting. Then it was a short walk to the final location, where I did a spot of weeding while waiting for muggles to pass. One lady stopped and told me that the council workers used to weed the area but lately they haven't been doing a great job. She thanked me for my small contribution.
After locating the cache I signed the log, collected a memento and rehid the cache.
Thank you Mister Doctor for another interesting addition to the SideTracked Series.

Back again with a plastic bag for the doggie doos that side tracked me last time. Collected 9 around the area including one that was still warm.....mmm lovely. Found the cache this time without the distraction of what was on my shoes
What a lovely container. Brought a smile to my face. Thanks for the multi and getting me sidetracked.

I did the right things here and found the cache without hassle. Thanks Mister Doctor for another great cache.
Think I had the correct coordinates for the final but I had no luck in finding the cache. Had plenty of bad luck with the dog poo!! Spent a great deal of time digging the stinking stuff off the soles of my shoes. Some dog owners are so irresponsible and ruin the area for everyone. Sounded like this would have been a good cache to find so might come back with some plastic bags.
Even though im not a premium, I still managed to find this! I was too lazy too even do the math, so i just searched under every grass plant or bush and eventually found it. Sadly, i didnt bring a pen. TFTC

Enjoyed this short multi - always appreciate when the approx distance to be covered is specified (esp for multi caches that, unlike this one, cover a -huge- distance). Sat on the pavement nearby gz and pretended to look at things on my phone to ensure no muggles present during retrieval and replacement - glad to have done so considering the effort put into the details in the container! A favourite point for sure - TFTC!
Thanks to Mister Doctor for this terrific cache.
A wonderful spot and we enjoyed the visit and the cache.

Second time lucky after dropoffing at the hospital, a little hunt but eventually found the sneaky cache.

It was getting late in the day so this was to be my last cache. I had to choose between two caches and I was glad I chose this one. This is a really lovely playground. The numbers were gathered and the coordinates calculated. The cache was found quickly and easily. An added bonus was that i was close enough to call in on my caching chum for a cup of tea. Excellent.
Today was another wet day, but we continued with the hunt for caches in the sidetracked series with ilook4geo. We were happy with the success rate, although there were a couple of DNF's. Signed all the logs we found and replaced each one in its proper place. Love all the named and themed containers. There was also lot of effort put into the contents of this container. Thanks for placing this cache go to Mister Doctor.
Rain is a pain sometimes, especially when we wanted to go searching for particular caches with goingplaces2. This one however was a successful find and both names or initials were noted on the log. TFTC.
Here I am again dropping my daughter to her VSL class in Box Hill. I have my other 2 kids with me too today and we have 3 hours to fill so ofcourse we go geocaching.
A nice little multi with a pleasant little walk. Lots of dog walkers who stopped and had a chat as we couldn't resist patting their dogs. A relatively quick find at GZ. We saw a weird vine growing on the trees as we walked back to the car.
Thank you for the cache here Mister Doctor

With echidna44. This was a great little multi to start our day. Once again we were so pleased to find a Mister Doctor cache- it always amazing what you come up with. Thanks!!
Out for the day with two of pinnacle333, we were doing multis for a challenge.
This was a delightful little multi, with the usual attention to detail that we always get with Mister Doctor caches. A fabulous cache, well hidden. Thanks Mister Doctor

I thought that we had done this one but it appears not so we did it today. Pleased that this didn't take too long to locate once we got to GZ. Thanks for the cache.
We both thought that we had already found this but apparently not. Made a great cache for the day and filled in a gap on one of my many challenges that I have going. Thanks for the cache.
A bit warm today but no train running so I was able to park in the car park. As I walked to the playgound a large loop of parents and children left so the place was empty when I arrived. The answers were soon found and co-ords calculated. At Gz I was expecting something different but soon found the cache. Thanks Mister Doctor

Found on a hot day for a walk in the park! Fortunately no one else on the playground so could gather the required numbers unimpeded. Then about a 5 min search getting prickled and cache in hand. Thanks!
Popped up here in the early evening in order to avoid the possibility of little muggles utilising the play equipment. Thankfully the coast was clear. Information gathered, coords calculated and I was off to GZ.
A bit of a search and something was spotted. Nice bit of work went into this cache.

Out with a friend introducing them to the game. Got to WP1 and picked up the clues. Did the short walk and made the easy find. Cache in excellent condition and in the usual high standard of CO. Took TB left TB. Great one Mister D
Found It!
After a quick visit to WP1 to count things, I got to GZ and started searching. Found a few dog turds in various stages of decomposition and then eventually found the cache!

SideTracked find 146.
A long bus ride to here for me, but the bus stopped close by. Bus 302 or 304 works from Lonsdale Street in the city. 302 was the first to come along so I hopped aboard. Not crowded.
Once at Elgar Park the coordinates were soon worked out and it was off to GZ. I walked in dog poo while searching. Charming. I saw colour and thought I had spotted the cache, but no, more dog poo, this time in a plastic bag thrown under a bush. What can one say.... I continued searching and the cache eluded me for some time, but eventually I found it . The camouflage worked very well. Cache and log are good. I like the little internal scene. I dropped off the TB 'Lucy's Holiday'. Then it was onto a 304 bus and headed back to the city. Favourite tick for the extra work with this cache. TFTC Mister Doctor.

Needing somewhere to walk after work I decided to come revisit this area (having cached here on a number of occasions as well as for walking/bioblitzing/etc). I managed to figure out a couple of likely locations prior to my visit - in case the playground was muggle-ridden - so only needed to stop briefly to check I hadn't made a complete mess of things. Off to GZ where after a bit of a search I spotted a shape/shadow and ah ha! there it is! Retying shoelaces helped with the searching, the muggles passed quickly so no problem with the logging. A nice little diorama cache so a favourite point from me (I was expecting something else entirely, partly why the search took a while)
Choo Choo So it was a miserable day and we were restricted to LSA again. On the look out for a quick park and grab, we spotted this multi. After working around some muggles in the arena, we were off to make a reasonably quick find. Clouds did mess with GPS a bit. TFTC
After a stroll around this train themed area, we were rewarded with a quick find today.
Great cache following the theme as well.

Thanks for the great little multi! We enjoyed our time here, didn’t know that the park was here, as last time we did. Quick park and grab at night for the nearby cache!
I am quite open about the fact that multis are not my thing, so I don't keep track of any of them, which meant I was quite surprised when I looked at the map and realised that there was a multi in Box Hill that I knew nothing about. At the miniature railway no less - how did I miss that? Embarrassingly we'd been here only a few hours earlier showing Arachnauts a nearby cache that we had completed years ago. After some careful counting, and then re-counting when the checksum was wrong, we had some sensible looking coordinates and off we went. The geokids were not happy - they wanted to keep playing, but I told geodaughter "A MisterDoctor cache is always good" and so she was really looking forward to it. And boy - MisterDoctor did not disappoint. The craft and care that he puts into his caches is exemplary. Thank you again for a fantastic experience! TFTC
Stopped here on a personalized geo tour by TeamUs! for me to do the nearby trad & realized belatedly that TeamUs! had not done this one. So back we came for some Mister Doctor magic & it didn’t disappoint. Very en-pointe & able to be discrete even with 2 very unsubtle geokids running around. Took 1x TB, left 1x TB. Thanks for the adventure & TFTC!0

Just a couple of hours out caching today as I slowly get back on my feet after surgery, we were keen to do a few of the new side tracked caches and a few Multi's we had not done in the area.
This is one of the caches found today. Once again another fantastic piece of work by the CO. FAV from me.
Thanks Mister Doctor for the cache.

Out for a long ride this morning, this was the first cache and being at this playground reminded me of a previous cache GC1GC9X - Catch the BTrain, it started at Blackburn railway crossing when there was a crossing, after it went underground the cache was archived, it was a multi with the second WP being this playground and counting of similar objects. I I sadly dnfd that cache , but today here I found this version of playground counting safe in its spot. Wonderful cache contents ! Fp !

took longer than expected due to a local mum's and bubs meet up at the playground. Trying not to look sus, I found others in the area before coming past this gem. I'm starting to become a big fan of these sidetracked quests! Thank you Mr. Doctor for the cache. No pen, so see photo attached for proof.

On my way home from the model train show, so I should pickup a sidetracked cache on the way. Thanks For The Cache 7912... nice camo. First mini sidetracked, we have one we are looking at
A few weeks ago this was first published and I thought - woohoo! a new cache really close to home but it was hastily withdrawn unfortunately. So I kept waiting for it to reappear and of course, it is published when I was away for the weekend so no hope of joining the FTF hunt. Too bad, but I walk these paths nearly every morning giving the dogs their daily exercise so I was able to gather the required information while the dogs had a drink at the water fountain in the park and had a set of reasonable coordinates quickly. I didn't actually hunt the cache until today as I was always forgetting either a pen or my GPS whilst walking (and it is much easier to hunt caches without 2 doggies!) but I did have a couple of quick looks whilst walking past and hopping that the GZ bush didn't have a really attractive smell which the dogs would home in on! Anyway, went hunting for it today and had it in hand quickly. Thanks to Mister Doctor for this cache and great job on the actual cache itself!

Third find of the day, a bit later than I'd expected due to an unexpected side trip that meant restarting this afternoon's walk, making it an evening one.
And though this cache was closest to where I'd parked, there was a solved puzzle to collect a couple of klicks along the trail.
Which just increased the anticipation.
Which was well rewarded after some counting and another short walk.
An inspired piece of craftsmanship, Mister Doctor.

As the train pulled into the station the tickets were punched.
"ALL ABOARD!!" Yelled the conductor. Next stop Mont Albert North.

A weekday morning and we were surprised at the number of cars in the carpark for the miniature railway - probably volunteers doing maintenance. We didn’t hav a problem collecting info for the final coordinates. We were initially searching a few metres from where we found the cache. Amazing presentation and worth a favourite point. Thanks to Mister Doctor for the cache.

Needed a multi today for a personal project I have been working on since early 2021.
This was the most convenient for me today, so took an early mark from work and headed out. Quickly gathered what was needed at the listed coordinates and headed for GZ. I did have to hang about a bit while a few muggles passed by, but soon the coast was clear and my name stamped into the log book.
Massive thanks go to Mister Doctor for placing this one. ??

Wanting a multi today but having a few things on, I was only free late at night. Spiffy- also needed multi so we met up at 930 and under torchlight we collected the clues. A little mis information on my part, then Spiffy- pointed out my error and the cache was no longer suggesting a 4km walk, but rather a 5 minute stroll.
We had a look about then reconfirmed the hint for a quick find.
Sadly I stepped in a deposit left by a doggy and realised when I jumped in my 1 day old car. Panicking that I would ruin the new car smell I quickly took the shoes off and drop bare foot. Arrived home and no loss of new car smell... phew.
Thanks to Mister Doctor for the fun and the adventure.

Fleabag- wanted to get a multi for today so I headed over here in the dark tonight to meet up with him.
I had a bit of extra time so stopped by another Sidetracked on the way.
I arrived to see a torch already in the car park. My torch battery was a bit low but we still managed to gather our clues correctly the first time which is unusual.
We then headed off for a walk and after a short search the cache was soon found.
Thanks Mister Doctor for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Another trip out east for a multi, and after spotting the new multi, this park was the target. I remember riding trains like this as a kid in Eltham. It’s good to see there are still a few about.
The downpour had stopped only a few minutes earlier and so I set off to start counting. Fortunately the rain had meant there was no one playing on the equipment, although there were a group of school teens gathering on the tables nearby. They offered me some chocolate cake as it was Liam’s (?) birthday. I’m sure the saying goes never accept lollies from strange kids, or something like that, so I declined but wished Liam a happy birthday.
I set off to GZ and after a short search found this amazingly detailed cache. Amazing effort MisterDoctor. - well with a favourite as usual, you sure have set a standard!
Thanks for providing a nice break from the PC today also!
Thanks Mister Doctor for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Happy sidetracked anniversary!
I do love the camo. Being at school finish time, I had to wait for so many sets of passing muggles. But finally I had a clear gap, so was able to make the quick find. Favourite point for the effort that’s gone into this cache.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Mister Doctor

I was heading out to attend a *SideTracked 15th Anniversary event* over in Bunyip... mainly because I was the organiser... and I thought it would be a good idea to find some of the SideTracked caches that have been appearing around Melbourne.
This particular cache was the most recent to be placed... and the first one I came too. The car park was surprisingly busy but I had the play area to myself to do the necessary counting. With GZ determined it was off for a short walk... and an interrupted hunt due the number of passing muggles. Eventually I managed to pull out a marvelously constructed cache... typical of what I have come to expect of this particular CO.
Thanks **Mister Doctor** for another brilliant cache.

I was just getting ready to head out when I saw the email for this one being published again. I had visited for the first incarnation in case I was able to sneakily get me name on the log book but alas no luck.
Only 1.8km from home I was quickly back to collect a new set of numbers. I arrived to find some muggles on the playground but luckily I was able to spot the required items from a distance. At gz my phone led me a merry chase for a minute but as soon as it settled I had the cache in hand and was soon signing the blank log book.
Thanks Mister Doctor for the cache. We used to come play here a lot when my kids were little.
