Woohoo! There were two ladies doing something intriguing at GZ - I lightheartedly asked if they were treasure hunting as I didnt have a team member per the attributes and wondered if they may be cachers. They were collecting mushrooms! Thanks for a fabulous hide.
A bit of broken glass on the ground - couldn't find this one. Noticed some muggles have set up their lounge closeby - maybe it's been muggled? #hopenot ... will try again another day
Nice quick find this time. No idea how I missed it last time. Thanks for the cache.
A quick walk to this one from the previous cache. We had looked at hint before getting to gz so was quickly spotted. Another fun cache that we have seen before so didn't fool us. Will give a fav.Thank you ZiggyZiggyStar for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5103
After scratching our heads for a bit in contemplation and a bit of meditation.... the NSWOA's cogs went clunk... pushed over Mr on his way past and Bingo! Very Cleverly crafted. Tftc
I expected that to take a lot longer. A very clever hide, found as I kicked my way through. TFTC
Another awesome cache in this little park. When I saw the difficulty rating I did wonder if I was foolish attempting this one solo, but quickly I saw something that looked a bit suspect. Sure enough cache was very quickly in hand. FP for creativity
The other team members were still up North, so I earmarked Saturday for a caching day. Tried to focus on solved puzzles, and was hoping to knock off a couple of wherigos but ran out of time.Another amazing cache - I really appreciate the time and effort that has gone into these. Took me a little bit to spot this one, but looking from a different angle certainly helped! Had to video this find as well just so I could share with the rest of the team! TFTC - another fave point from me!
Drove up from Palmy to Papamoa for our annual family camp. I Made a list before hand of a couple caches that looked to be more creative or special and this was on that list.Took a bit of searching but noticed something odd and cache was soon spotted and signed! Very cool! I wrote in the log and placed the cache carefully back as found. TFTC. Thanks ZiggyZiggyStar for placing this Traditional cache! ZiggyZiggyStar , ! 21 January 2024 at 12:20PM#832th Find
Such a good hide. We ended up making the find by accident otherwise we would have been looking forever. Tftc
Very clever and kind of an accidental find from me, but a find nun the less! Thanks for the hide
Wow this is a very cool cache, my brother and I spent a good while trudging back and forth, very cool to see more creative caches!
Spending a few weeks working in Whakatane. Had the weekend free so headed off for some caching. Always good to find new parks that ones never visited particularly when full of awesome caches. Arrived at GZ and searched with no success. Invisible glue! Gave up and went and found it’s pair across the park. That gave me incentive to have another look although I really found it by luck once I knocked it accidentally. A favourite point from us. Thanks ZiggyZiggyStar for the smiley and a hide.
Reading previous logs: this is not an obvious cache but a very clever hide. TFTC
Spent 15 minutes searching the fence up to 5 meters each side of GZ to no avail. Couldn't feel or see anything amiss.
Another clever hide, also missed it on the first pass, but noticed something move, ah ha good once, TFTC
After a few weeks of minimal caching due to weather and waiting for next souvenir months. Today was the day to head out in the sunshine. Nice hide thanks. FP from me.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

A nice sunny day in the park so we decided to find this new cache. A lady with her dogs ended up spotting us searching for the cache so now knows about the geocaches in the park. After about five minutes of searching the cache was located. Great camo and Container. As we had hid a cache like this previously we knew what it might look like. Sadly the cache we had is now gone as the the area has been bulldozed. Favourite point for this cash as thought it was such a great camo.
New park for me too and big enough so that the few muggles around didn’t cause me any problems But wet underfoot and had to go around a drain This is a great area especially for kids Loved the cache as well. Good coords, good spot and excellent cache What else did we need TFTC
I thought we were out of the swamp! Anyway, trudged through the bog to GZ then read through the details. First thing I laid my hand on. Nicely crafted. Been saving for rainy day but it turned out quite sunny. TFTC & FP.
Searched up and down the fence for a good 20 minutes but couldn't seem to spot anything
With my family… We are heading to Tauranga to finish some family business. Another hide visited with Gap. We didn’t have time for this one last week…
We had a fair idea about this cache and spotted the hide right away. The ‘invisible’ force seemed to have separated in the interim, making this a quick find. We fussed over putting the cache back and can see a small problem emerging with this one. Nevertheless, an easy favourite for its ingenuity. Thanks ZiggyZiggyStar and TFTC.

Read the hint a little incorrectly & after quite a lot of hunting decided to read the logs to see if i could gleen something in them. That worked,a few subtle clues & i soon had things in hand.Very innovative & clever, thankyou ZiggyZiggyStar, you have made my day & a fav from me.
We saw these new publications earlier in the day but were unable to dash out in an attempt at the FTF. Later in the day while in the area, we decided to try our luck as they were both still showing as unfound. We were aware of this reserve but had not visited snd didn’t realize just how big it is.
After locating the first cache we trudged through the wet grass to this one and had just about to commence a search when other geocachers arrived. The eagle eyes of the youngest in their group soon spotted the hide and we added our name to the list of FTFs. Once again another great hide in a nice secluded spot, well done TFTC.

Pro-tip: if you're coming to this park during winter, bring gumboots, or be prepared to get your feet wet and muddy!
We had a hunt for this one using the GPS and couldn't quite nail it down. So we looked at the hint and Mr Taylana had an idea of what we were looking for...but Mr Taylana was wrong! One of the kids found the hiding place, and we were all impressed at the construction! A favourite point from us. TFTC!

Nice to see this one pop up and so close to home. We set off, and no logs on here, thought we were in with a shot, but others beat us too it… work got in the way again. TFTC

On to the final new cache placement here and again we were thrilled to see another well-crafted and cleverly concealed cache hide. We truly congratulate you on your new placements and applaud the effort you have put into them. Another favourite point from us! TFTC

Still with the young ones in tow along with one giving guidance with the GPS we were soon at GZ and the search beganas I walked along the fence line…I heard a voice call out “you must be after the same thing as me “ so correct, nice to catch up with Mrs Rosmar of the Rosmar team. .. this is one clever cache well thought out and designed ….fortunately we were lucky to locate this devious placement very quickly I am sure it will test a few geocachers along the way. An easy fav love the design a person of my own heart ..I really appreciate your efforts Ziggyziggystar…….almost needed the dust the magic it{ FTF} joint
Close to home so why not but had work to do first. No logs when we set out & got to GZ & no one around. The geopup enjoyed the walk. Wasn't sure about the invisible glue but I banged it accidentally & there it was. Got the log out & we were about 4th or 5th. Wasn't sure how to put it back but soon worked it out. As we met the CO recently it was nice to find one of his caches. Fav point for a cool cache. Tftc
An unexpected {FTF} (joint) this afternoon. Our two young charges were on their iPads. A "no device" policy is usually the rule at our place. So out we go to look for a new cache - or two. As we approached gz we were greeted with "I guess you are looking for the same thing". Nice to see you Mrs Rosmar!! It got quite busy with 5 of us so the excellently constructed cache didn't take too long to locate. It certainly blends in very well. Thanks for the great cache ZiggyZiggyStar. A fav from me.
