We are from Abilene, Texas, USA and have come to New Zealand to visit with a friend. We plan on going after different Cache Types while here. We will also find geocaches while going sight seeing.
Thank you, Bitsprayer for placing this cache for all to find. We sign log sheets either as Love Cachers or LCers.
Driving over 50 miles to have...
Rusty barbed wire ripping through your clothes...
Curious rattlesnakes that come out of nowhere...
Itchy mosquito bites on every inch of your body...
A 40 mph wind gust blowing sand into your ears, nose and mouth...
Cactus needles getting stuck deep in your hands, arms and legs...
Thorny Mesquite trees scratching you up from head to toe...
Some or all of these things on a hike through 101° heat...
To sign your name or trade a toy...
SOUND LIKE FUN TO YOU?
It does to us, we're geocachers in West Texas! - {Taken from a Greater Abilene Association geocoin.}

I investigated more than one small mound before I spotted the pile of stones on the first one that I looked at.
#22190. Once we got to #4 the track was starting to look a bit overgrown, so decided to park just across from #4 and continue on foot. This was the first find out our walk. Quick find here. TFTC.
StreetWalkerNZ and I had never been to Bortons Pond before, but now there are heaps of caches here, it was a must do while we are staying in the area.
We parked at #4 but there were a couple of lads camping close to GZ, so we decided to leave the find for the way back. Walked from there to here, where SW sniffed out the find. TFTC.

This took ages to find. Resorted to the hint to realise that wasn't a lot of use, as there is nothing but here. Turns out it was a bit closer to the road and further along than my GZ. TFTC.
After a hiatus of 6 years I'm back at Borton's Pond locating and signing off caches.
Definitely no need to have a 4WD to complete this new series. Now down a the major side road.
Cheers for the cache.

A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee drive to Invercargill and back. Today we made it as far as Oamaru. It was overcast all day.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

The number of caches here has grown since I last visited, couldn't resist coming back especially with a rare weekend off. TFTC!
A bit further along and I am glad I have managed to get this far but the traction is still there and the wet patches are short. So another one successfully completed.
A journey like this is really enjoable.
So different to P&G's
Thanks
