Found at 2:52 PM GAFF1.We were last here in Darwin in May 2022 and this cache was published just after we left. Today we toured around the Lee Point area where we were camped 2 years ago and reminisced on the places that we had visited. Along the way to the boat launching ramp we stopped by to find this cache and were surprised at the nice sized container for such an exposed location. Thanks to teamneveadventures
I parked my car and only had a few feet to walk to GZ.A quick and easy find.TFTC Teamneveadventures
I found this cache on a trip from Adelaide to the top end with Freddo for a few weeks. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition. Thanks teamneveadventures for the cache.
Love the hide here. So bold. Do another please.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the fifth day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was so hot. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Well my whirl wind tour of 5 states in 3 weeks has started and after reaching the SA border and now the NT border it was time to locate a few caches here or there as I won’t be doing that much caching on this trip as I’m with muggle friends.
So after a great few days in Litchfield NP I decided to ditch the other couple but that is for another story.
So a drive up to Darwin and back for the day was called for so 1 I had to pick something up for someone in Melbourne.
And 2 I had a couple of caches earmarked to find.
A nice stroll around the wharf / harbour area and I’m loving the warm weather up here.
Of course I picked up some fresh prawns and oysters for tea.
I was chasing some most Northerly caches to add to my tally so I headed out to Lee Point to find a couple of them.
Parked at GZ and waited for a muggle to drive past very slowly who was just staring at me as he drove past.
Thanks teamnevadventures TFTC.

Another quick cache we picked up on the way to a "Save Lee Point" demonstration. Very apt name for a cache in this area of exceptional biodiversity Thanks for the cache ️
Day 46 of our greynomad trip up north and after a the JLWEvents, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, we are attempting to escape the southern weather that has been wet and windy.

Funny little cache. I found it on the ground but I attached it back on its string and magnet setup.
This is our last day in Darwin so we decided to focus on some caches in the city, Fannie Bay and Lee point.

Great little cache!
I left a sticker about our threatened bird life in the NT.
Being plastic, I hope it survives the upcoming dry and associated fires.

With reference to the photo, I initially thought the cache was gone, turns out I just needed to look a bit harder. T4TC
Found with fitzy_1965 on our dash around the country in 6 days.
Our dedicated Darwin caching day saw us target a number of different types for a self-imposed challenge.
We slowed down as the day got hotter but managed to complete what we set out to do then finished with an amazing dinner on the wharf.
All caches were found quickly unless otherwise mentioned.

28,699. Found with minniek during our long weekend adventure to Western Australia and the Northern Territory to finish our 'Around Australia in 2022' Challenge.
By the end of February this year we were lucky enough to have visited in and cached in five of the eight Australian states/territories (ACT/NSW/VIC/SA and TAS). With the Townsville Mega knocking off QLD in April, we decided we may as well do a trip to WA/NT to complete Australia in one year. This is that trip. Today was our one full day caching around Darwin. Visiting Buffalo Creek sure brought back memories of catching Barra, seeing Crocs in the wild, and getting eaten by Sandflies (better than catching Sandflies, seeing Barra and getting eaten by Crocs I guess ??!!). Nice quick find here. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks teamneveadventures !!

Today we went on a bike tour early in the morning towards Lee Point, where another small stretch of tradis was waiting.
The time of year is ideal: no more bush fires, but also no new plant growth yet.
But first a visit should be paid to this new traditional.
Thanks to the hint, the container was quickly found and the logbook signed
Thank you, teamneveadventures, for laying and maintaining it!

Quick park and grab. Be aware of the drain in close proximity to gz could do some serious vehicle damage. TFTC
A quick retrieve after walking the Buffalo Creek nature trail. Fires have ravaged this area recently and it is crying out for rain. Bring on the monsoon! T4TC!!!

Exploring Darwin today we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
A very quick find, don't know how it stays there, but well done. Caches and contents were very good as well as the co-ords.
