Logs
Hi NickandAbb. Today I/we attempted to find your A Tree Befitting Tarzan. Unfortunately, one of the following happened and that made us unsuccessful in logging a find :1. Hadnt rubbed all the sleep out of my eyes. 2. Hadnt had breakfast so was concentrating on filling my stomach. 3. Had someone else with me and they couldnt be bothered looking and wanted to leave. 4. Had muggles hanging around waiting for me to leave so they could relieve themselves. 5. Wrong time of day. 6. Wrong time of night. 7. Wrong information given to me about where the cache is hidden. 8. Coordinates out by more than 10 metres. 9. Nobody has blown up the nano factory yet. 10. Too much or not enough water / light / GPS signal. 11. Flat battery in navigation device. 12. Cache has been stolen / muggled. 13. Such a small cache hidden in such a large area (fake rock in a boulder field / pico in west coast horizontal scrub)14. Too far up the tree to reach with the ladder AND the pole. 15. Too far down the hole to reach with a magnet or grabby tool. 16. I gave up looking. 17. I need to be somewhere else soon/now/a while ago. No offence intended! One of these may actual fit my DNF on your cache.
No go coordinator took me to the grass but we looked in and around the tree, no luck today
Heading home today after spending time with the family and grand children.Missed this last time, as a few muggles arrived and couldn't have a good search. Today it was a quick find and I didn't have to be tarzan. Container was broken laying on the ground, so replaced with another container. Thanks NickandAbb for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Checked on the cache today its been returned to its original location with a temporary cache hidden under bark
This one took us ages to find. Not sure its in the right spot but we put it back where we found it, impossible to cover where it is TFTC
Before heading over to Port Sorell to book into my accommodation, i wanted a handful of hides in Latrobe. This one was 1st. I parked close by and made my way over to the huge tree that would be an Orangutang's paradise.
A quick find was made and the log was signed at 11:52 on Monday 3 July 2023.
The cache and contents are fine and dry.

Staying in Devonport we headed out today to find new caches published around Latrobe and this was one we found. A quick find at GZ. TFTC

I always like a cache within a cache. Shows dedi-cache-ion.

As a child this would have been the perfect tree for my imagination. I can imagine monkeys swinging on the limbs with Tarzan

Our last day in our month long sojourn to Tassie. It’s been wonderful. We managed to pick up all the LGA’s except King Island which we are really happy about. The weather has been unexpectedly glorious.
Another one before we head off
NickandAbb, I found A Tree Befitting Tarzan today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Found by Mr Beetle on a solo cache run at Latrobe today on his bike.
A quick find and one we should have got ages ago as we are usually in Latrobe at least twice a week.
Thanks NickandAbb.

Easy find in obvious spot . Found another log in plastic bag in different spot . Have removed . Tftc
Cache has been replaced and all good to go! A lot of leaves in it’s hiding spot!
Found but cache appears to have been muggled and log was on ground. Log rehidden and owner messaged. Sadly someone must have joined the community to cause issues as this is the third one today in Latrobe we have found like this
Disabling this cache till I can do maintenance on it. Seems the logbook has been left. Seems it Has happened to a few caches of mine in the area logbook being left and cache missing
Back home we decided to tackle a few caches that have been published and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

YAY - I found the cache. Find 4 of Day 4 of our Great Tassie 2023 Caching Adventure. This one was a very quick find. Log signed and we were off. TFHC
An interesting tree and as Tarzan was no at home a quick find was made. Another area I have never been to.
Quick find here today on my way past, cache is all good
Today I decided to head up to the north west coast to attend an event and find a few new caches since being in the area last over a year ago, a nice day out with over 30 finds and 25,000 steps.
Thanks for the cache

Tftc love the tree good spot or dogs and kids to run out some energy if they have road sense
Super fast find this time. Raced back to the car out of the wind to write in the log while Mr Almost Eleven let his inner Tarzan out.

Hi NickandAbb
Another blank calendar day to fill, so thought I'd see if Tarzan was about.
All quiet at gz with no sight of Tarzan.
Would be a great tree to have in the backyard for kids to climb.
Cache is in top nick.
Many thanks for a top location....much appreciated...cheers ST.

Cache was missing has been replaced same location just different container type.
We hunted hi and low for this one today but couldn’t find it. Lots of traffic around so may have been muggled. We’ll be back another day. TFTC

After the last log stating there was no logbook and the cache was empty I came out from Ulverstone today to replace the logbook.
After arriving at the cache we found the cache uncovered and opened it up to find the logbook in perfect condition with all the finds and dates intact.
If you’re going to write damage or missing logbooks please make sure it actually is!

How awesome to have a brand new cache in the area!!! When I saw this I knew we just had to come and look for it!! Easy find today while the sun was out! Thank you for the cache today!
I had a day caching in the Sheffield / Devonport / Latrobe area after dropping off a friend to do a camera course in Sheffield. Only one thing that needed to happen was a quick drop into the Devonport airport office to fix a small internet issue. The day was overcast with occasional showers, although some showers were heavier with some ice in them.
All logs were signed July 22 as I forgot the date at the start of the day and continued this way throughout (and for those people checking, I will log all for todays date on the web site)
To be honest a high tree climb could be better for this tree as it is so climbable. Tftc.

Found with Geo Maggie2. Nice and close to home. A rainy day but out to do some Geocachers anyway.
What a lovely old tree. Easy to find. Travelling with Angus 88. Thank you for the geocache
A couple of errands in Latrobe, coffee with friends and a new cache are sufficient reasons to use a bit of $2.50/litre diesel to get here. All good at GZ. Hope there are not too many eyes on caches from surrounding houses. TFTC NickandAbb.
[FTF]. Yah found it and a FTF as well. Great tree but I did refrain from doing any tarzaning. Thanks for the cache and one that was accessible for me lol.
This cache was published while we were in Launceston today. So, despite it being dark as we came home, we just had to stop to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks NickandAbb for another quality cache.
PS: Congratulations MerilynTas for your FTF.
