Logs
Got these along time ago when they were published we got some FTF. I was car sick most of the day so have put logging these on hold just got reminded by the team that I havent logged these yet. So here are my cut and paste logs
Me and Taybee decided to take a 3 day trip up to Taruanga and Auckland to visit family and do some shopping. The first day was enjoyable with us finding some caches around Taihape before the rain came in. Day 2 was spent around auckland getting a cache or 2 in between the rain spells and then Day 3 was spent heading home collecting 50 of the bisons and other caches around the place. Signed as either TB/NZ or T/NZ. TFTC
**taybee** is caching again with **taybee nz** for the dayQuick find here today All in good order, sign log book as **taybee (** *joint sign* **T/NZ** or **taybee / nz )** TFTC Cache was found at **18/09/2024 @ 11:59:00**
Out on a gray morning with rattll, a final push to complete the Bison series, plus whatever else we can get our hands on! On these back roads, parking can be tricky, even in a little car. Fortunately, many of these caches did have parking reasonably close by, or at least a shoulder on the road. We managed a 100% find rate today, including DNFs from other expeditions, to finish the series off. This was a turnaround point for us, so rattll jumped out to make the find, while I found a convenient driveway to do a three-point turn. By the time I got back, she'd found the cache and was busy signing. Returned as found. Tftc!
Matagouri and I had planned one last attack on the bison roaming the area, with the intention of picking up all of the remaining caches left, including the 'eye' which Matagouri had targeted as his 5000th cache find. The weather forecast wasn't great, but we figured if we got an early enough start, we could potentially finish before the rain set in, which we succeeded in doing with only minutes to spare. As we were nearby, we figured we'd grab some 'extras' as well. This was a very straightforward find as it was very visible on approach. I didn't know where else to put it, so I returned it where I found it. Thanks for setting this up
Heading away with tmann421 for a couple of days.Spent two half days up here collecting the Bison Series.Found many different hides and traveled roads varying from seal to gravel to windy to narrow.Enjoyed the seriesSigned log tm/ww NZTFTC

On a mish with the team. (Team BoP) Bern a long time since our last trip together. A great day for it and a fab way to celebrate Matariki. Collecting a few trads along the way
While out on the 101 Bison trail, this was an obvious must-have cache, on the way past.Easy find.
Quick find while in the area with Kiwi Does Stuff, great views on a cold morning around the area
Had a muggle ask us if we were alright. Our reply was yep all is good.
A nice quick, easy, find, grab, sign and flee.

Down in Rotorua for 2 nights and 3 days and I had in mind the GC45 CITO we had yesterday and a pile of caches that had a horse attribute for an Auckland challenge I'm working on GCA5F8V. This cache was one of them.
I'm on my own today, have my e-bike with me just in case and when I arrived here I wasn't expecting to find a cache that was easily hidden, how can people not find THAT? Turns out it had been replaced by Geckoh, but at the time of arriving here his log had not been on the page. I see now as I write this up a few days later his log is there.
Then as I signed in and turned around by my van that was -parked up close to GZ, I see 2 inquisitive faces staring at me, no not horses across the road, but at the gates there are 2 sheep! Normally they bolt when you get too close, not this one, he stood his ground and I couldn't believe it when I tried my luck to see if I could give him a back scratch and he let me for a good 2 minutes, like dogs they go la-la when rubbed, his head was swiveling from left to right to left. He enjoyed it immensely, I tried to pat his ears but he wasn't keen on that idea, just kept pushing his back towards me for another rub. That was so cool, never met a friendly sheep like that. His shiny wool was full of lanolin, quite oily it is. Made my day, but I had to say goodbye to my friend and head off.

As we were out these ways caching, we thought we would replace this cache for the CO. Said Hi to the horse across the road.
Replacement cache is a pill bottle hidden in the top of the left hand fence post under the hedging bush. TFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and my niece… This is the last day of the school holidays. Doing a spot of cache maintenance in the wider area…
My sister and her husband worked as farmhands on Corbett Road a few years ago. We know this place fairly well… The ground was slightly uneven, but we pulled off the road to make it easier for traffic to pass. What traffic? It was a quiet Sunday morning… We examined a couple of spots before the cache was located. Thanks Snooternans and TFTC.

Welcome to the game Snooternans, and it's an honour to FTF your very first placement. I said hello to the horses, and tried to wave at the people at the house, but I was left to get on with things by myself. Took the dog down the road for a bit of a walk, so we're both happy to have had a reason to come out this way. Thanks for the cache.
