This one (and maybe its mate) still appears to be off limits. See pic. Not sure how the last finder managed??????
What a great potential swimming hole. I'll be back when weather gets warmer.
Its also impressive how they moved all these rock. That would have been tough.
Still questionable if i should have been here as area is closed due to falls at the falls. But in reality that is a fairway away.

After a tough day out doing Gibralter Gradient this was fairly easy. Just note, this area is still closed so if your spotted you might get a tap on the shoulder from rangers to ask what you are doing here. TFTC
Cache 9222 on 10 Sep 2022.
Out with the usual crowd to grab a multi and an earthcache, and have a walk in the bush. The water in the creek was high, but the stepping stones were out of the water so no hassles navigating along the river at Woods Reserve. Then we moved the car to Gibraltar Falls and grabbed the information for the earth cache. Then back to civilization for coffees and breakfast!
The Map on my phone was telling me one side the creek, but with the water so high, it was a line ball call. It was spotted from one side and retrieved from the other!
Thanks Tankengine for the cache and the fun!

Out and about with Team FATZ (me, AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX) collecting a few caches in the Gibraltar Falls area.
Coords had me initially wandering to the wrong side of the stream, but then I spied it while standing on a boulder. TikvaNZ made the signing. TFTC TE

Making the most of some better weather, AngelG27, ZQX, Fox in Jox and I headed to Gibraltar Falls for a wander and to collect a few caches. We started at Woods Reserve and soon zeroed in on this cache. TFTC.

Called in here with the better weather at lower altitude to look for the cache. Once I had the right side of the creek, the cache was found all OK.
Thanks,
Thanks,
We stopped in here after a ride around Tidbinbilla, and enjoyed a straightforward find at GZ. A lovely walk beside the creek.
Thanks, Tankengine!
Thanks, Tankengine!
A quick stop ?? off on our way home ?? after a day eCycling in the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. A quick find besides a beautifully flowing Gibraltar Creek. TFTC Tankengine.

An unexpected early start after initially thinking that today was a sleep-in ?? With someone else ready for a caching adventure it was all systems go so I headed south. With grandkid-duties early afternoon time was of the essence!
Interesting to see that the 120 hectare Tidbinbilla enclosure is now locked ?? and electrified ??. The Brush-tailed Rock Wallabies are not permitted visitors. Therefore, the caches within the enclosure are no longer accessible. I was surprised that the caches were all still active despite these changes. I wondered if the COs were aware of this situation!
After picking up the three new caches here we headed off to 'On the way to Nil Desperadum' (GC74031) however it was now behind the locked enclosure. So instead, we headed off to the Nil Desperadum Homestead ?? to pickup all the caches that mountainsbeyond had still to collect. Then off to Woods Reserve for a few caches in this location.
In all, a fabulous day with great company out in the Tidbinbilla Reserve eCycling ????? ????? over 20kms up and down the fun steep dirt trails that were all in good condition. It was mostly in glorious winter sunshine ?? until around 1:00pm when the clouds ?? came out to play, and then a light sprinkle ?? set in.

Expected to find no campers out here especially being minus 3 on arrival early this morning , but there were a good dozen here .
Arrived at GZ and located the stash and did the FTF admin procedure .
Got some nice cold water action photos early .
Then found WW 1 which I hadn’t got .
Thanks to Tankengine for the mountain creek adventure .
