Reperio 13:32I headed to Sydney today for a few days away, and this time I was joined by a work colleague who had never experienced geocaching before. We took a detour towards Warragamba Dam before eventually making our way to Darling Harbour. We targeted a few of the GFA caches, and some of the WGA caches along the way. Most were found without any issues.Gratias Booo BoooAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Accompanied with 63ROOS, enjoyed trip from goulburn to Penrith for run to series catch up and good weather.. We enjoyed and Laughing tks
Accompanied with ALL7, lovely weather today, out and about caching, GFA series run around of town.. great fun and amazing cache in every different type of caches, love it TFTM
Unfortunately I had to give up my search for the cache because a muggle parked his car across the road. I will come back another day.
Catching up on missed logsOn this trip we are basically looking for Adventure Labs, Earth caches and Virtual's, anything where there isn't muggles involved and also hoping to pick up a few LGA's we need around the Sydney area. This was another we had solved this one during the Covid lockdown so were keen to have a look for it.Again we pulled up near this one and wandered off to gz, searched around for a little while before we found something which happily turned out to be the cache. We added our name to the log and returned everything as it was. Many thanks for the cache Booo Booo
While every cache in today's trip has had something to recommend it, I'm glad to knock this one off the map as I started the AL on a previous visit months ago and only completed it a few minutes ago. I thought that was the heavy lifting on this cache done, but it turns out there's one more task at the end.
30,096. Found during an invasion of the 'Bargo up to Penrith' region on the Canberra Day long weekend with a great bunch of Cachers.
With the Canberra Day long weekend upon us, a number of Canberra region Cachers performed an invasion of the Bargo up to Penrith area. Canberra Day Invasion 2023 (signed as CDI23) consisted of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, albida33, smittengranny, Contesta and myself. Day 2. An early-ish start soon had us on the road grabbing more caches. This was the AL Bonus for the GFA series, and a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks Booo Booo !!

Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 3. For the next chapter of this trip there were two farewells and an early start fro breakfast in Picton before we got underway. Today the group was made up of Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Isopeda, Smitten Granny and Contesta. We still had a plenty of caches to do and we got underway on a warming day. The group signed CDI23 the same as yesterday. In addition to all the caches we had planned for the day, we also had to get to Penrith in time for dinner. We did a mixture of roadside traditional caches and the GFA series. We ended the day with caches around Warragamba. Another long fun day caching in this region.
As we reached Wallacia, the caches became mostly part of the GFA series and we did a bit of a loop to visit as many of them as possible. We managed a break in Luddenham then finished the loop via Mulgoa. We had to back track a bit to get this one, but there was a car to collect, so it was a purposeful trip.
Thanks for the cache Booo Booo

Day 2 of our Canberra Day invasion saw us start early in Bargo and finish in Penrith for the night.
I was down with a migraine for most of the morning but after the good drugs, I was much better by the end of the day when I could contribute a bit more.
We spent the day picking up trads, multis, solved puzzles & wherigos along with the odd AL thrown in for good measure.
All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

After doing the adventure lab and with some assistance from a fellow geocacher to point me in the right direction to solve the puzzle , I arrived to familiar area I had been previously . Coordinates lead me to a area to explore with little effort I was able to retrieve the cache from its hide. TFTC Booo Booo

Thought I was going to reach my 9000th cache today...but I think this, my 8999th, was my last for the day. Oh well. Just as well i don't overthink these milestones...
#9202 (10 of 11 today including 5 Adventure Labs)I am gradually catching up with my logging - I'm missing two months worth or so. And that's over 100 caches! At least my most recent finds are up to date - just need to fill in the gap!To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, I just have to put my mind to my future goals... 25 per day? Owwww.Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###Out to Mulgoa and surrounds for a feast of puzzles.found all I looked for, and even finished an AL and it's corresponding bonus.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Before finding this one I snaffled the following AL locations:#9198 - Disney Golf#9199 - Pong#9200 - Carnival Games#9201 - Splatoon#9202 - Mario Kart###END OF ADVENTURE LAB SECTION###Quick find after grabbing all the locations for the AL in the area.SLTNLNTFTC
Streak Day #3341 - Out with Dave8153 and after completing the AL, arriving at GZ for a quick find. TFTC
It took 2 goes at this adventure lab as the raceway was closed the first time. On the 2nd time at it today, I had to revisit the first few waypoints as I didn't write down the answers, but eventually got there. Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. TFTC

I gave this one a miss the other day after completing the AL because there was a long line up of cars at the intersection of Luddenham Rd and Elizabeth Drive. A quick find today, however, while I was passing through on the way back from Burragorang Lookout.
