Just after we had replaced the missing log a local lady came over for a talk while out walking her dog. She did mention that the local kids quite often stop to check out the cache for goodies. Hopefully they will leave it in place. Thanks Danteg33 for this cache

Catching up with late logs

I could not believe my luck when I turned up at GZ there was a mother and a daughter playing ball with a dog. I didn't think I was going to get this one as I pulled up to check how far away it was they packed up and moved on so that was a better sign. I was far enough away and I didn't have to search too hard as the cache was in plain view, I don't know why it was still there. After adding our name to the log I returned everything and hid it a little better so it's not quite so exposed.
Many thanks Danteg33 for bringing me here, I'm happy to at least get one out of the 3 caches I tried for.

This weekend we headed south to the fleurieu peninsula for a camping night away and to also attend a CITO at Victor Harbour plus find a few caches along the way, total of 70 for the trip and a nice 2 days away.

Just came back from holiday in Alice Springs saw that a new cache had been released and decided to go for a bike ridetftc

Found it before I even got off my bike
Typical how this cache was published whilst I was away, since I live very close I may have been able to get a ftf.

Went for a Sunday morning drive and found a cache. Well thats the podium filled, pretty quick for a cache this far south, usually the city folk take forever to come this far from the bakeries.
Its been a while since we have come into this housing estate, not too many vacant blocks theses days, guessing the little wander to the beach is appealing.
Everyone delights to spend their summer's holiday
down beside the side of the silvery sea.
I'm no exception to the rule, in fact, if I'd my way,
I'd reside by the side of the silvery sea.

But when you're just the common garden Smith or Jones or Brown,
At business up in town, you've got to settle down.
You save up all the money you can till summer comes around
Then away you go to a spot you know where the cockleshells are found

FTF at 5.10PM. Got the notification and jumped straight in the car as this one wasn't too far away and I was free! Getting dark, cold and wet but managed to get the easy find in the logical place with good co-ordinates. Met saintsno1 (STF) who were hot on my tail. Nice to meet them and have a chat. Always nice to meet some cachers in the field. A little bit concerned that cache was in plain view of nearby houses so not sure how long it will last. TFTC
